A Deep Dive into University of Lucknow: Unveiling Campus Life and Academic Excellence

I made my decision to apply for this curriculum because apparently I wanted to prepare for the Civil Services Examinations and this course doesn't require much of your attention .The fact that this is not a professional course and is not much demanding like other Engineering and Medical courses. Well the curriculum does not connects you to the real world as it doesn't provide practical knowledge rather it gives you theoretical and much deeper knowledge about the subjects. Improvement can be made on including more application based practical stuff along with the pure science as a whole. Bsc makes you fall in love with the subject as it tends to provide pure scientific knowledge in depth. The teaching methods can be more practical and well demonstrative to ease students understand the complex topics. The level of exams is moderate to difficult, students who love their subjects with good preparation can ace the examination and achieve academic success as well.

As this University is a State Governed University, there is no such issue of fee increment as the government aims to give the best quality of education at an affordable price. Various Scholarships are available for the students which can aid the complete expenses of the education like Up scholarship, inspire etc. When I took admission in this college I just submitted the enrollment fee of Rs 500 before the entrance, then 11000 after clearing the entrance Further there was no such charges , I just had to pay fees before the second semester exam. For campus enployment, the university has recently launched the Karmayogi Scheme which offers to give work opportunities to the students so that they can generate few income.

Don't even hope that college will organise cultural Events or Activities for you , there are only seminars, cultural competitions, and sports events that take place. The Surabhi Sanskriti event is the only famous fest happened last year .Recently, a literature fest was organized along with a DJ night, that created a hope for many more beautiful events to be organised for the students. There's a famous Tagore Library with a cyber library and reading hall inside stocked with numerous magazines and books by different authors. Smart classrooms are there for the PG students. Other than this., a corporate lending library for course-related books further enhances the learning experience by providing easy access to essential resources. Sports Activities like Cricket, Basketball, Racing events are do organised . There is a club namely Adamya for students who are interested in plays , dramas and theatre.

Students are notified about the admission process in the month of April through the official website of Lucknow University. Admissions form is to be filled by the students only before the given date . It includes personal details, educational qualifications, and course preferences. After successful submission of the application form and the application fee of around 700 for General Category, Candidates can download their admit cards from the website.Candidates must appear for the entrance exam (Conducted in July mostly) on the scheduled date and time at the designated exam centers along with their admit cards. The exam format is objective with no negative marking and is based on 11th-12th .University announces the results with the merit list on its website usually at the end of July. Process is completed in August after the counselling and Documents verification. Reservation policies for EWS, Catogory based are available. Eligibility criteria is similar to other UG courses.

The faculty members are highly knowledgeable and experienced here. They are easily approachable and supportive too. If the students want , they can go to the professors office and ask their doubts. The teaching methods are different for everyone , many students understand it and they appreciate it while many criticize it too. So it depends upon the students. The fact is that teachers want to be cooperative if the students want to do well. They are ready to give opportunities in terms of Marks in internal assessment and knowledge but it is purely on the students if they are brave enough to grab it or not. My experience with my professors have been amazing ,I had numerous interactions with them about the study related topics , career advise and some sort of general life topics. In fact, When I got injured during my Chemistry Practical Examinations, the professors and the staff members were so supportive and kind that they gave me immediate medical aid and called the doctor.
