Course Curriculum Overview

5

Of course I am science student from 11th and 12th, that's why I have chosen BSc. You have to study physics chemistry and maths as a core subject. It is an amazing stream you can go for it. I am a fresher right now and within some days my experience is very good.

Internships Opportunities

1

As I am a fresher I don't have much idea about the internship after going in the second year we get opportunities. I will let you know as I get opportunities in the second year for the internship program.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am admitted to Gargi College of Delhi University. This is one of the top colleges of South campus. Faculties here are amazing. And the seniors in college are very helpful. Talking about the academics, it is very good. You will get a lot of exposure over here. Lot many societies to join. My first day over was amazing not as expected to be boring. If you are admitted to Gargi College it is a big YES go for it!!

Campus Life

5

And I said before there are many many opportunities in this college for clubs society and many more. One individual can join more than one society at a time according to their wish. I opted for the NGO society as I like going to NGOs and help the poor and the needy. There are lot many society as dancing, singing ,drama, photography, film making, etc. the college infrastructure is mind blowing.

Admission

While we admission process was going on , for Delhi University preference list I have many colleges as a preference including North campus and South campus. Gargi College was my 9th reference and above that I have put call the north campus colleges. I was allocated with the Gargi college with BSc physical science. Talking about the comparison between my college and other colleges I am very much satisfied with my college and course as I wanted to opt for the girls college and I got it. I was a bit upset that I didn't got North campus colleges but I got the top colleges of South campus. But after the college started I was very happy about the surroundings the college arrangements management everything was so good.

Faculty

5

As said before this faculties here are amazing they teach beautifully and clear your concepts. Everything here goes in a systematic way. They are very polite and answer to all of your questions without being rude. My course is BSC PHYSICAL SCIENCE. It costs 20065 per year. The exam pattern: continuous assessment weekly, and semester exam + practical exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Remarks:

Good Remark: The college environment made it possible for me to have great friends and be the person who I have become. The teachers and facilities of well-equipped labs, guest lectures, events, library, etc. made it possible for us to have a great campus life. Bad Remark: The college management needs to update the library norms that they have (which made it difficult for us to have books for the weekend to study) and also need to provide students with better placement opportunities from the same field as the specializations.
