- The campus is very big and vibrant. There is always something or the other going on.
- The societies are always active and the LP area of the college is always crowded and is very happening.

- The academic part of the college is not very great and there is no system.

Course Curriculum Overview
for me , i have always wanted to study english. the curriculum is nicely prepared. we have to study indian classical literature , european literature and study jane austens pride and prejudice. the couse is great but the teachers teaching method makes it kind of boring.
Internships Opportunities
the internship cell of our college is active but not that much as it does not provide high-standard internships for English honors students. but it does provide good interships for bcom hons. students.
Placement Experience
I am currently in first year so dont know about placements in detail but i know some seniors who have landed an average package of 5 to 6 lakhs rupees per annum. The placement cell of our college is very active and ensure the student are in touch,
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admitted to Hansraj College this year in 2024 with cuet. I scored 746 marks in cuet and had Hansraj as my 3rd preference. I paid 26,900 rupees for 1 year. So, for a 3-year course, the fees can range up to 80,700. There is no scholarship offered as to the general category as such.
Campus Life
the hansraj college is very vibrant and something or the other is always happening in our college. there are approximately 60+ societies . the LP area is always crowded with people performing , so there's never a off vibe. the infastructure of the college is great if compared to other delhi university colleges. all classes are air conditioned and new auditorium is also building.
Admission
i applied to different colleges in delhi university that offer english honours couse. i didnt put girls college in the preference list. Hansraj was my 3rd pereference . my first preference was hindu college as it is renowned for arts courses. though, i dont regret my choice as after reaching hansraj , i really like it here because something or the other is always happening.
Faculty
The faculty-to-student ratio is not proportional. there are not enough teachers to teach different topics. the English faculty is though, very approachable. the teachers are very sweet and are always ready to help, unlike the commerce faculty. There are no mid-term exams, only final semesters. the english exams are comparitively easy , if compared to other courses and one can easily secure 7 cgpa.
