Lucknow University - A journey to theories

The curriculum is good enough as the things taught by teachers is understood by sthdents very well. The things taught here are discussed with how ther are applied in the daily life aspects and how can we take them to experimental approach. I was not good enough in statistics but now i feel so comfortable.

Till now there is no internship offered to students in the bsc progaramme and if offered were chargable for students. In my opinion internship is only offers in proffesional courses where there is no stipend offered.

Students become eligible for placements basically in last semester of their courses. Companies visited the campus are hdb, apex, icici. The highest package offered till now is 4 lpa. Atleast 20 pecent of students get college placement. My plan is to clear IIT jam and carry masters studies.

The fees of Bsc courses with government aided subject may vary from 9000 to 12000 where as with self financed courses may vary from 12000 to 25000 per semester. There is no fees with category wise and the scholarship funded i the university of up scholarship which provides the return of total fee submitted by any student.

The annual festivals held here are convocation ceremony and all the national festivals as well. The convocation ceremony is held in the month of september. There is a large variety of books in the libraries. Allover facilities are good in the class rooms with smart boards and comfortable seats. There are so many clubs like praan , debate society etc.

I applied in Cuet where i got atma ram college but i chose lucknow university because it was not so far from my house and also i got my desired subjects and course in very affordable fee.I did not get rejection from any college. For admission in lucknow university you have to fill the online form and clear the entrance. After the entrance exam you have to chose your desired subjects and you get your subjects from the filled one vased on your merit. Expected cutoff for bsc maths is 70.

Faculty to student ratio varies from 1:30 to 1:60. The faculty to student relationship is good as the teachers can remember the names of almost al students and focus on them. My loved faculties are the teachers of statistics and the faculty i did not like is maths faculty. There are total 2 exams conducted in a year with 5 subjects exam each semester. The cocuricular courses are good.
