The Quality of the Infrastructure was very good according to every student comfort , that is great thing for us

Course Curriculum Overview

The Frequency and Timing , there are short of time in exam becouse paper are lenghthy so we should practise more and more for score high in Exam as well , Exam Timing in Sheduale and shifting based , like Afternoon , Evning shift here are & also Suitable for all Students. i want to giving one Improvent that in exam time daily basis test should be start for compulsory basis so no one take skip test exam, it will help us to impore all students score

Campus Life

There are only Annual Function help once in Year, everyone participate in Function and celerbate with Dance, Singing, fun, Poet , ramp walk any many more other activities , every student enjoyed full , and tha Range and accessiblity of books and journals available in the library was very good , there are lot of knowledgeble book in library.

Admission

I didnt apply any other college, i applied only one college that is Vivekanand Girls College , located in Vivek vihar Delhi , i choose this college as per according my Location , becouse this College is Nearby my house location , also Vivekanand college has Good Reputation and Only for girls , which is make me more comfortable there , i didnt get any Rejection from any other colleg becaouse i didnt apply anywhere

Generally Exam were tough for those students who do not study well , but Almost Exam are tough & accroding to syllabus also , there is no out of syllabus quation are come in exam , everything according to Our Syllabus , we should Learn & study hard so that we can top in exams

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

The college is in a safe place and has hygienic and clean environment. Also because it is an all girls college there is always a sense of security.
The college offers various kinds of internships paid / unpaid which are open to students from all courses.
The college offers extra curricular activities and societies which enhance the student experience

Dislikes

There are no Ac's in any of the classroom which make it difficult for students to attend classes in the scrotching heat.
The teacher's do not finish there syllabus on time and make the subject confusing for students.
The canteen and the food there is not very hygenic

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Deloite , airtel, zomato, bajaj , kpmg, ey, accenture etc. Companies recruit students for jobs and internships. 60 percent of students in maitreyi college are placed. The highest package might range from 100000 to 1500000 and average package ranges from 4 to 8 lakhs. After my degree i plan to give government exam's like HAS etc.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
