Course Curriculum Overview
The overall semester typically end in 5-6 months, with 3-4 months of getting syllabus done and 2 months for internal assessments and external exams. Sometimes it hinders the overall learning and completing the said syllabus. Overall, course curriculum and teaching methods make it easy to tackle the semester., but college is all about self study!
Internships Opportunities
There is a separate Internship cell in the college which mainly focuses on providing internship opportunities. They keep on posting different companies profile with the internship openings in their WhatsApp groups. Moreover, Delhi University provides internship opportunity at VC office as well. If a person is active, he can easily grab such opportunities in order to become more industry ready.
Placement Experience
One of the important aspect because of which I joined Hansraj College was it's Placement Opportunities. Every year, there is a large on campus drives, where big MNCs come for hiring great talent. College provides a lot of job opportunities to start your professional career. (P.S. Just be active throughout the college, actively participate in societies, do internships and become intellectual. )
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees for my course was around 21k per year ( In 2021 ), this year it might differ. I paid 21k in the first year, 20k in Second year and 19k in Third year. In the first year of college fees, the examination fees is included. Talking about College scholarships, there is certain amount of scholarships offered by college each year. Students get selected for the scholarships on the basis of their merit, attendance, CGPA and so on.
Campus Life
I have actively participated in the college societies and volunteered as well. I was an introvert back in school. But after joining college my social skills have improved. I have met a lot of mindful individuals from all over the India. My overall college experience has just been amazing. Would love to live those days again:)
Admission
I always wanted to graduate from Delhi University and getting into one of it's best college was a dream coming true for me. One of the best college for Arts and with the best commerce faculty over there. Anyone would want to join my college.
Faculty
Talking about Arts Faculty of my college, there were the most senior professors with a lot of experience and knowledge. Having a great teacher, makes a classroom more interesting everyday and that's what each college going student wants.
