Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course i have is B.A program , which comprehends all the subjects including Hindi , English, political, History and economics etc . I love the content and topics . There's nothing one can get issue with , infact the examination conduction is very smooth and clear process .

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure i pay is 8100Rs each year. I'm a general category person so i do not get any scholarship or something. People from Sc/St and others can get scholarship as per their requirement via some documental works.

Campus Life

4.5

There are various clubs and societies in my college and i often participate there as well. Im not a nurd sort of person so library and all isnt my type but yes thats too amazing there, provides lots of genera's and all .

Admission

I chose this college because its famous all over the India. Its studies, faculties , concerts and clubs are all that made me choose this college. Although , I had an option of Bharti vidyapeeth and amity as well but i cannot afford the fees structure and other things they have.

Faculty

4

The student teacher ratio is 45:1 ,so the teacher is able to focus on individual student. There are almost all the faculties are very kind and helping . There are 7 exams in each semester and i feel like its all useful subjects that are being served to us but i dont like the paper checking system they have, Because almost half of the class gets same marks which makes me feel that there's no deep checking.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA English Honours curriculum at DU SOL is relevant and provides a strong foundation in literature and language. The course covers diverse topics that support academic learning and critical thinking. The flexible structure is suitable for distance-learning students. Adding more practical activities, updated study materials, and interactive learning opportunities could further improve the overall course experience.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
