Proper facilities like medical room and consulting room
Good administration and teacher ....very supportive and helpful
Infrastructureis also great ...all the benches and building are newly built

Dislikes

My college's surrounding was a little bit of shaddy and seems to be not safe
Canteen facility is not good according to the price they charge.
My college didn't provide any scholarship

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is good all the teachers are full of knowledge they are very good and supportive.... Always ready to help and clear l the doubts ....the frequency of the exams on their difficulty level seems to be less according to me

I'm studying in shyam lal college evening of Delhi University and I belong to general category....my current fees is 12500...and my fees increases by 3 % every year.My college didn't provide any scholarship ...one of my batchmate is sc and his fees is 8200

Campus Life

Delhi University provides you very good campus along with the decent croud .... I m from north campus so it is very safe and almost every facility is available in the campus from pg to hostel to transportation and medical service ...everything is easily available ...my college provide many clubs and societies which will help you in enhancing your personality...my college have societies like ...music society enactis Eureka and many more ..overall environment of campus is good provides good facilities which are available almost 24/7 and college also has clubs and societies which help me in enhancing my peronsali

Admission

I had applied in various colleges of Delhi University ....like 15+20 colleges I had applied and I scored very good marks in cuet so I'm eligible for almost every college which were in my list ....but I got this college which is decent as compared to other colleges which were on my list ....but due to the admission process of Delhi University they use to give college according to the prefence list of the candidates...so in my preference list this college was at no 3-4 do I got this college and this course.... unfortunately my marks are less to qualify for the colleges which were at number 1&2 in my preference list that colleges are hindu and stephens

Faculty

My college's faculty is good and supportive...they always helps student but few members are a little bit of arrogant and they seems to be rude ... Ratio of girls over boys is very less in my college ...Exams are of medium level neither hard nor easy ...but if you study on the regular basis you will easily clear exams

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Honest review of ddu

Likes

The teaching faculty is really nice and polite. They usually help students even when u contact them after college hours.
The engagements and the quality of the social interactions in this college is also very good and very uplifting.
The quality of the infrastructure is very good compared to other colleges in du, considering its very new.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because the thought of learning about the literature of the older times was pretty exciting to me while I was choosing the course. The curriculum however does prepares you if you want to continue ur academic journey in the English field.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
