- I would say that my college experience was really good because college provides a friendly environment and the crowd is good too
- As education becomes the main factor somaiya never lagged over there. It means the efforts and teaching method are really great
- Campus life is great because there are events happening on regular basis and it helps you to interact with other students
Dislikes
- College needs to focus on providing good study materials.we never got books we always used to get notes on Google classroom which makes it difficult to study during exams
- Faculty is good but actions are taken a bit slowly
Course Curriculum Overview
The education of course is really great and diversified because it gives you great knowledge of almost everything it is not focused on one specific thing for eg not just finance but it focuses on both finance and marketing you also have subjects like taxation, law, ethics, It etc Every year first you have internal exams and after 2 months of internal exam you have your external exams For example your education year starts in April so you have your internals in August/September and your externals in October/november after that jan end internals and march externals
Fees and Financial Aid
My course Bcom Hons fee structure is First year-100000 Second year-108000 Third year-116640 so the fees keeps on increasing year on year also there is admission processing fee 500 every year scholarship and financial aids are given to limited students there are scholarship programs conducted in the college According to my knowledge fees of other courses are much higher than my course like bbm bba it's around 150000
Campus Life
Yes social environment acts as one of the great perks because there are fests and events conducted by the students There is a cultural forum where college provides all the necessity and students host a event All the festivals take place in the college Sports day is conducted by the college
Admission
I chose this college because of the level of education they provide and for the great opportunities that you get after your course completion No I was not rejected from any other college but comparatively my marks were a bit less than the usual so I had to go for bcom hons after 12th you don't need to give any entrance exam for admission it's your 12th percentage that matters
Faculty
Faculty has always been kind to students and helpful to everyone so faculty is not a problem Students had a good relationship with the faculty because they always considered problems of the students BCom hons is a 3 year course total 6 semester Each year 2 sem Marks system-total 100 marks 60 marks paper external semester 40 marks internals where 25 marks is written and 15 marks are given on the basis of attendance and assignments and vivas
