Remarks

Whatever I am today is all because of my college. So, I wont say anything negative about my college. In fact there is nothing negative to say about it. I am a happily passed alumni of the college and I'll always be proud on it.

Entrance Preview

I had appeared for KMAT Karnataka 2010 exam and had scored 94.1 percentile. Instead of a good percentile I preferred this college because of an affordable fee structure. I had to go for Masters in Computer Applications and after roaming through all the Engineering colleges in Bangalore I found it best in budget. The other point of attraction is it resides in a relatively cheaper area and so getting a flat with batchmates is not cumbersome as other High End Colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure follows the structure to Visvesvaraya Technological University(Belgaum) which falls under top technical curriculum in India. The college has efficient professors who guide students in every manner. Besides, VTU updates its curriculum every three years and includes new topics which help students to be aware of latest industry changes.

Internships Opportunities

The college provides internship with many companies and the stipend is totally based upon the companies who takes student as interns. It varies company to company. In my case I used to get stipend of 5000 with a bus pass and food coupon from Microsoft Partner Company named Trainedge.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements are similar. If you are dependent on college campus selection, either be the topper or forget the placement. In spite of scoring 83% I preferred going to market and find job, though few of my classmates got placed in Tech Supports and BPOs from college. Few were placed in HCL also.

College Events

4.5

There are numerous events and celebrity meets happen at SaIT viz. Advitiya an MCA Department Initiative, Vibez-Sait Annual Functions etc. The events happen here are grand and the biggest advantage to join this is the food ;) (The only reason to worship the events). The cultural events are very enjoyable and everytime some celebrities visit.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is very attractive specially for those who don't want to take loan. For me the annual fee was 55K and admission charges were 20k. So the whole expenditure towards college was 1.85 L for 3 years. The student who is looking for loan can get it easily as its not a bulk amount. In present they might have raised the fee to 5-10K but its manageable.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are available only for reserved candidates. Loans are widely available from all the banks once you get loan letter issued by the college management.

Campus Life

4.5

The college has students from all part of India (in fact several parts of world also). There are no such discrimination as such as other south indian colleges. The gender ratio is same as other colleges. Guys will be more than girls. The students are friendly and dont involve in any racist activity.

Hostel Facilities

4

I don't have much idea about hostel life but as per my friends who used to reside in hostel, its nice. The total fee for an year was 36K paid to college and you get breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hence 3 K for a month will all amenities is quite good. PG ar

Exam Structure

Exams are as per VTU guidances. It's as usual as any B.E. courses. You'll have to appear for internals every month and at the semester end the usual external exams start which goes for around 20 days. So if you have dreamt of an easy life for MCA, monk, i

Faculty

5

SaIT faculties are better than other high-end colleges. They are more aware to raise their students than any other colleges. They are so good that you can call them at night for your doubts during examinations. Professors are always punctual and cooperati
