Its a govenment college so the administeration process is very lazy in there

1 year 6600 for obc 2 year 7500 for obc 3 year 10500 for obc There is fluctiotion in fee as per the quota on which you are geeting the admission in the college . I knew only of obc not of my batchmates .

Campus Life

My college life was a total adventure . I got to learn so many things that seemed to be impossible ir which i used to refrain from doing. I loved the freedom to take our own decisions . We come across many challanges which with times we deal with and move on .

Admission

One college or university may offer better fees , learning , packages than the other most people choses the college as per their convenience , environment , climate some people gets what they are looking for and some have to adjust

Faculty

There are around 150 proferssors over 5000 student . I liked sports faculty as they did their job seriously. I didnt like the administeration faculty as they are lazy and delay the query and processes of students

Night Life

The night life around college is viby . As the students hangout there at teashops till midnight . The area around also offers variety of activities, FROM STUDYING TO PARTYING and student can take nightwalks around as it is safe out therw

Likes

Personally I like my college's environment. It's so friendly and cooperative.
It's an all girls college so it's so comfortable as it is away from male gaze.
I highly do recommend this college for study and personal growth.

Dislikes

I somewhat dislike it's canteen. The food is not as good as our expectations.
The prices in canteen is very high with low quality food.
I dislike the thing that a few professors favour some fix students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Yeah the curriculum here is so strong, it's student friendly and ability enhancement. The courses offer here are relevant and can be applicable in our day to day lives. It gives us insight into ourselves.

My college was a girl's college. There are maximum 60students in a class. Prints were quite cheap in the college cafe.
There were many fest functions in my college. I also participated in the dance fest in my first year. We also used to go on picnics from college.
India's chief guest at the annual function was M Venkaiah Naidu.

Dislikes

College fees were very high for general category people.
The behavior of many teachers was quite rude and arrogant as if they were teaching us for free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to do PhD in Political Science but due to percentage I took up BA program. Teachers used to provide notes but mostly I used to be off. There was nothing wrong with the college. Exam timings were good.

Infrastructure of the college is very up-to-date.
College crowd is very active and diverse, giving opportunity to learn and explore.
Teachers are very well educated and friendly towards the students.

Dislikes

Sports facilities at the college need to be improved.
Few teachers methods of teaching are traditional and outdated.
There is strict criteria for attendance, to maintain 66.7 percent

Placement Experience:

Final your students are eligible for the campus placement. Companies visited are HDFC Bank, Zomato, Swiggy, mahindra,EY, Deloitte and others. Highest package was around 30 lacs per annum and the average package is around 4 lakhs. Job profiles were mostly business analyst, research and development, PR and others. I will prepare for civil services examinations after clearing my graduation.

Our placement services is efficient and effective which always comes up with quality companies in terms of employment and package.
We have solid infrastructure which includes medical rooms, basketball ground, main ground, fest ground etc.
Our faculties expert in their teaching of respective subject where the teaching method is technology based and mentorship quality is demand based

Dislikes

Our course curriculum is relevant but sometimes it lacks little practical learning.

Placement Experience:

Student set in the placement from 5th semester where where is companies visited college for the campus placement such as KPMG, Zomato Deloitte, etc and number of offers made were not explicitly disclosed by the college and highest package was 25 lakhs and average package was 4 lakhs and profile offered were finance, marketing, etc around 70% students placed from my college and my plans after the graduation is to pursue PHD.

Moments of happiness

Likes

I liked the ration of girls and boys it's almost same .
The teaching method of teachers and the library.
College infrastructure and various opportunities and sports ground .

Dislikes

Events in college are usually too short like till 5 pm only .
Classes starts at 8:40 in winters atleast it should start by 10 .

Placement Experience:

English hons is not a course in which placement is that widespread as far as I'm aware . But our college provides placements for other courses like b.com etc and we have placement cell which keeps updating us on internship or placement opportunities and overall package is quite good .

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

College provides a free environment for sports.
It is ragging free college and many anti ragging laws are here
One of the best features of our college is it in origanising seminar time to time.

Dislikes

There is a issue in time table uncertain classes are a problem for us
So high attendance criteria makes us in trouble.
There are not hostal facility which make a critical situation.

Ramjas the heaven on earth

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
