Likes

Teachers are very friendly and will always there for you for nay help you needed . They are very qualified and dedicated,will provide you support and guidance .
It is a girls college, you feel safe there . Student are very enthusiastic.
They offer wide range of extracurricular activity and there are many society you can engage with.

Dislikes

I am persuing zoology hons, so I wanted to be more practical based than theory. labs don't have sufficient equipment and facilities.
They don't took us to visit trip which was mentioned in or syllabus. In place of visit they give us assignment and project.
I don't like extra papers we we to take without any interest as SEC, VAC . They don't even teach us properly, mostly they are practical based but they only teach us through ppt.

Course Curriculum Overview

I don't know why but I like biology. That's why I choose this paper. we have 2 hrs of theory exam , and paper is bit lengthy.It is very difficult to solve the paper in given time . For the difficulty level of paper , it has very straight forward questions

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee is increasing yearly. For first and second it was around ?16000 and for 3rd year it was ?18,989 . Current I am in 3rd your .It is 4 year course by my choice because of NEP. So for the forth year what will be the fee, i don't know. We also have to pay examination fee every semester,which is around ?2000 and I have 8 semester for 4 year course,so total will beariund ?16,000 we have to pay department fee which is 500 yearly I am getting any scholarship. I am assuming I have to spent around ?1,00,000 for the course I am persuing.

Campus Life

we have REVERIE a annual festival. which has to be 3 day fest .But because of some unusual circumstances it have been cancelled by our principal. so I don't have anything to say. Yeah they do provide some in place of this ...most of the students don't like this and don't come.

Admission

I have applied for this college only and as I have mentioned in previous question that I like biology thats why I choose zoology hons For addmission we have to give entrance exam CUET , admission process changes accordingly.

Faculty

Faculty is good, they will understand you and help you every moment of life even after you have graduated. All the faculty members and understanding, so there is nothing like disliking any one. Yeah there are some , I don't want to name them . They are just so frustrating. I don't know what they thing of themselves. I am persuing 4 year, we have 2 semesters every year. Exams are very easy if you stick to the syllabus. In my batch no one fails .So you can understand you easy the exams are. only practical are bit difficult. Not much that you can't do

Night Life

Ther is no gym in campus. cafeteria is ok library is ok but we don't have sufficient space to sit we don't have hostel and for campus timing it is 8 to 5 like we are doing some corporate job. Because most of the we have free period.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is that i have biology subject in class 12 so i thought of bsc The frequency and timing are good because we can give exams of 2 semester at a same time

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Intro to DSEU

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.
