Course Curriculum Overview

4

Rating my course is a difficult task because as it a program course but at the same time it opens a gate towards multiple career optoons. I strongly believe its a good course if you love basic sciences and want to make a career in research and academics . Because the course have a broad area of coverage starting fom zoology to chemistry and with the implementation of NEP we can study the subjects from different department also and plan our degree. Well you can also switch your career path by optong for MBA or NDA or UPSC exams but i will not advise to do it as of now we need good scientist and academics. Well there are some aspects which need to be developed but with time i am sure it will also change.

Internships Opportunities

4

Our college provides its own internship called ELITE its an research based internship where you will work under an professor on a research topic for a period of 2 months . With stipen of 2k. Further the students can apply inti private sectors and different colleges for having an good internship.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is very affordable for almost all courses at Acharya Narendra Dev College, Delhi university. The fees varies between 10,000 per year to 14,000 for Bsc in life sciences. The fees may vary according to subjects and year. Yes there are plenty of need based and merit cum scholarship. As Acharya Narendra Dev is a science college so it emphasizes more on research and a student can apply for research grants also. The fees is lower if you have an category. You have to also pay a security amount of 5000 during the starting of the course which is refundable. Perks of being in a Government University.

Campus Life

5

Theres a plenty of resources for supporting you UG education you can acces to multiple science journals at free of cost woth you student mail id. The library is top notch you will gamet all the required books and journals. Coming to college social life like you will never feel alone in the campus starting from our special Dandiya nights to annual college fest leothrix . In between then theres multiple event like onam , diwali mela and lot more. Yes there are student lead enterprises , many startups and societies . All classrooms are equiped with projectors . Thers also annual sports day for emphasizing the need and importance of sports.

Admission

I have mainly applied for colleges with strong base for improving scientific temperament . Like IISERs and NISER but due to limited seats i couldn't make it there but i didnt loose my hooe and now i am here . Acharya Narendra Dev College is good College if your main goal is towards becoming a scientist or academian. As it is a pure science college for which i have applied it here in all together. The admission process is simple you need to give CUET exam and scire a decent mark. Main problem lies with the counselling process so choose your course , subjects, and college wisely. Yes i have applied to other colleges also but i couldn't clear the exam i guess bad luck but no worries i am still in the race.

Faculty

4

Delhi university follows semester system. And New education policy is completely implemented. Well i dont know the exact ration for student to faculty but i never feel any shortages in my department. The exams are easy for 1st year but as the level of syllabus increases the exam difficulty also increses. Well it depends on student nut if you dont take your clasess then you might also fail.

Night Life

5

Our college is in South delhi so you can imagine the night life well nights are not safe in delhi but witb right friends and peer you can enjoy a lot. There's lot of tourist attractions and cafeterias near the campus. Theres no hostel in the college so you are on your own students resides in pgs and independent apartments usually.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
