Course Curriculum Overview
My senior secondary stream as well as my interest in real world affairs and events influence me to take this course. This highlights the real world events and problems with its concept and theories. One thing which needs to be improved is practicals which should include real world examples and research. The timing and frequency is perfectly synced with the difficult level.
Internships Opportunities
There were many opportunities to work as intern. For many fields including arts, science and commerce. Fields in content writing, overview and implementations. Many different firms hire interns and theres a different internship and placement cell of the college.
Placement Experience
The final year students mainly the sixth semester students were eligible for placement. Companies like Amazon, google, Zomato etc hire Average is about 5-6 lps and highest reaches more than 50 Lpa. If one doesn't get placed, have many more opportunities to work in any firm or prepare for government exams.
Fees and Financial Aid
The University ask us to pay, Admission fee and, examination fee, since admission fee is same for everyone. The category benifit is only for admission purpose. Yearly fee is about 8500 and admission fee is about 510 rupees. Other benifits one can avail are all central level schemes and merits that government implements.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is good some renovation is must which was started when I was in my final year. Social aspects of college is also excellent as one gets many opportunities to be in any society or curriculum or sports Events. Projectors in classes of CS.
Admission
I have also applied for ARSD, delhi university, but since I was late reaching the college. I have to return back to my hometown and than have to go to delhi and than I applied for Delhi college of arts and commerce.
Faculty
Faculty to students ratio is acceptable and the faculty is very professional in their teaching. Faculty of political science I liked the most as professors are wise and kind towards student. There were other faculties too like faculty of commerce, science, computer science etc. In my opinion I didn't dislike any faculty. There were internal exams and semester exams. Internals can be considered easy as it is requires assignment and test by the teachers. Semester exams require deep knowledge and understanding. So, if you don't studied well its very high chances that you may fail.
Night Life
My favourite hangout spots are near my college and and since there were no hostels pg area ARD complex was more busy area and area for hangout. Areas around Bhikaji Cama metro station were good place for hangout at night.
