The college is in kurukshetra which is best city in haryana for tourism.So u can hang out in kurukshetra. brahamsarowar is only 1.5 km away from college campus. kurukshetra University touches the boundaries of nit kurukshetra so u can also hangout there. All the classes have air conditioning
Course Curriculum Overview
From last year the course has been updated. Efforts are still continue to enhance the productivity of syllabus.branch improvement has been stopped. So all the student divided into their respective branch and there are two groups for each branch & each group have 2 sub groups. There are two semesters in a year.each semesters have two midsem exams
College Events
Anamika & confluence (main fest of colleges) are 2 cultural fest & one tachinical fest Techspardha is celebrate in our college.All the college fest are celebrated very well & have high standards compared to other colleges in north india.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is a bank inside our college campus by which student can easily get student education loan for his tuition fees as well as mess fees. And there are lots of scholarships for meritorious students.
Campus Life
There are eight official society in college & many more which are unofficial.students can take part in society & can improve his/her skills.Almost all the sports are available& everyone can take part in induction of team selection & it have very good sports ground.time to time labs on important topics are held by many society & by college.
Hostel Facilities
I will give 4.5 points out 5 for hostels.in first year the hostels alloted are old but changed in 2nd year. Hostel facility are quite enough & living conditions in room is also at par level.but environment of students in hostel is very good. volleyball & badminton court are available in hostels.
Alumni/Alumna
We have a facebook of Alumni and everyone is helpful in nature. Everyone gets its solution after posting their queries on it.all the seniors are helping in nature & support well throughout your cource.
Admission
As National institute of technology, Kurukshetra is one of the old and reputed NIT in India. It is a college of national importance. Best infrastructure and placements make this college unique.Admission for all branches in btech is done through counseling of josaa based on jee mains rank.so to take admission you have to give jee mains conducted by nta twice a year. students only from science stream are eligible for jee mains.Approx 10 lac student give jee mains paper every year.
Faculty
I will give 7 points out of 10 to faculty.all faculty have good experience and high education qualification.All Teachers are supportive & deliver lecture in English but some techers have accent problem.
