Likes

We have gurudwara sahib in our college which is the best part about whole campus
The faculty is good at mentoring and teaching they are so friendly

Dislikes

Canteen is not good in our college the food is below average and sometimes they serve expired food
Some teachers in our college discriminate between honours students and programs students which is not good

Course Curriculum Overview

Actually my first preference was bsc biomedical sciences and second is life sciences this course is so wide and like we have 3 subjects in this zoology botany and chemistry in further academic we can choose any one of these for our post graduation and domain . I think this course also be reached in manner of honours courses so that we can go in depth of all this subjects

Hi , I'm currently studying in Delhi University and my course is bsc life sciences. I'm in 2nd year and my fees is 30290 this fees included lab fees , development fees etc. i don't have scholarship yet in my college all categories have to pay same amount

Campus Life

I my college campus life is good but there are no events and activities in our college that we can enjoy we have so many societies in college but some of them are soo rude and not productive Fest name of our college is Lashkara Library in our college is best there is all kinds of books present and faculty there is good . Sports in college is awesome and we have sports complex in our ground . Our ground is the biggest ground in whole north campus.

Admission

I was in the second batch of cuet in which I have so many doubts about the preference list and registration process currently I'm in SGTB KHALSA COLLEGE and this college is unexpected for me I didn't even imagine of getting this college but I was having doubt about freeze option and upgrade option so I have to choose this college... I'm my preference list first college was Bhaskarachrya college for Biomedical sciences..

Faculty

Faculty is less than students and the relationship with my teacher is good but some of them used to discriminate between honours students and programs students they say we are preserving this for honours students and programs students just have to read it but over all faculty is good lab staff is also good and appreciative.

Night Life

In night the college looksso beautiful and the area around the gurudwara sahib is so good in ground light are all on and we have jannat in our college which also looks good at night . And the area around the college is looks awesome. Hostel timings for girls is 7:30 pm last and campus Timing is 6:30 pm last . I think the locality is safe but sometimes it doesn't feel save at night if you are walking alone.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Firstly the college is affordable any one can take admission
There is not too much social interaction
Teachers are very supportive by social media

The online services are very low they should be fast
There should be no mail or message given to studenta
There should be good socially life for odl

The aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is that i have biology subject in class 12 so i thought of bsc The frequency and timing are good because we can give exams of 2 semester at a same time

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.

Curriculum update frequency - If the curriculum is updated time to time, more frequent rivisions could help emerging trends and technologies. • Examination Structure : 1. Timing - Exams are conducted twice a year, with the end of each semester. It provides time for students to prepare for next exam. 2. Difficulty level - Difficulty level of exams is moderate, with a focus on understanding and application of knowledge.

Some knowledge some confusion

Likes

The things i liked in my college is the teching faculty provided. They have a good experience of teaching with mny research papers which have been published by them.
The second best thing is the college amenities like library and society. You will get every book required for you curriculum in the college library incuding few magzines too. The society will help you to develop other soft skills.
The most important part of college life are webinars where we interact with someone big professional like Dr. H. C. Verma sir who once visited in our college aur big faces too. Sports events, skills webinar, Cultural events makes the overall experien

Dislikes

A little bit old infrastructure can a point that is disliked by us and many students. As everyone wants to be a part of a new and good looking college
Lack of hostel facility in the college campus is a major issue. Specially for those students who are not able to accommodate in the Flats/PG due to thier financial status. But the new building will be available with all the facilities within few year

Placement Experience:

Students of 6th sem are eligible for the campus selection process. Our course also have placement programs. Some companies that visit here are TCS, Wipro and few more the no of offers made depend upon the performance of student in the placement cell. The highest package as per my knowledge is 13 lakhs and the average here is 6 lakhs. Sorry for the inconvenience but I don't have any knowledge regarding the job profile given. The placement percentage changes every year depending upon the respective batch. My planning after the course is either placement otherwise my prime goal CSE.
