Maitreyi college - An overview.

The annual fest of Maitreyi college, Rhapsody, is a majestic event which is held in March every year and has had a lot of popular stars already as its face such as Darshan Raval, Ankit Tiwari, Arjun Kanungo, and lots more. The clubs at Maitreyi college - Artisto, Zeal, Abhivyakti, Galore, to name a few, are one of the best clubs in the entire University of Delhi, which keep proving themselves every now and then. Sports and extracurricular opportunities are a crucial part of Maitreyi college, not to miss the annual college fest which attracts students from all over India.

I got a confirmed admission from Zakir Hussain and Swami shraddhanand college, but I chose Maitreyi overall others as it has a better crowd when it comes to the students as well as the faculty, and the additional benefits include better infrastructure and basic amenities. The admission process was quite smooth, wherein I was asked to submit my documents and was done with the process within a span of 2-3 business working days. I chose this degree over others because life sciences is an integrated study of the various life forms on earth, which kinda saves you from getting into a certain niche of education and still keeps all options open for you meanwhile. The cutoff I remember clearing is 85% for bsc life sciences.

The average class strength varies from 30 - 35, and hence the teachers interact freely with the students, emphasizing the actual power of knowledge and facts, rather than fake attendance scenarios. TSome of the faculty members are so experienced that just being able to interact with them feels like a fortune. Faculties within the chemistry dept such as Kamal Sir are one of them. The exam pattern includes just the sem end exams, where you are supposed to write the theory as well as the practical exams for the subjects that you have opted for.

The hangout spots near Maitreyi college include Satya niketan, which is the hub of popular cafes and restaurants that serve amazing food and attract student crowds every passing day. The fact that it is just walking distance from the college makes it more accessible and convenient for everybody.
