Course Curriculum Overview

5

Actually I love to study physics that's why I had taken the Physics Hons. The curriculam based on thoery mostly if anyone is really interested in reasearch and PHd then this course is perfect for them. If I suggest the field where it can be improved I will say it can be more practical so that everyone can feel physics.

Internships Opportunities

5

There are so many types os internships offerd to the students. There is a time period from when to when student will do work. and the salary is fixed for each internships. There are also that type of internship present where students get certificate, offer of recommendation rather than salary.

Fees and Financial Aid

1. The year wise fees I am paying is rs. 16630 . 2. as I have to taken a tution so I don't need to pay my tution fees. when I had register for the application form in Delhi University then The registration fee was only rs. 100. There is no admission fee, development fee, lab fees and other charges during the course completion as per the category. All fees are included in my course fee and no other extra fees needed for any other thing. But if there is a college where the hostel is present and if any student are selected for the hostel ( Which is alloted by the marks in cuet + Distance of hostel from your home and there are specified seats for each category and cutoff) then you have to pay the hostel fees as well. I have friends who are present in the hostel the hostel fee was rs.60000 for first year per month approximately rs. 5000 which is very much low than a pg or flat. Also everyone have to pay exam fee for every semister, this is fully depend on number of exams and all my exam fee was approximately rs. 1700. 3. There is not that much difference in fees for category just there is a slight difference of rs.300-500. for example a friend of mine who is general category he had paid 17000 for his first year. 4. There are so many scholarships for the students eg. NSP , Reliance etc. for women there is specillay other scholarships particularly for womens. Also there is category wise scholarship as well. amounts depend on the type of scholarship where in some scholarship there is 2-3 k per months in other side in some other scholarship there is 1 lakh per year . in maximum cases the scholarships are depend on your merit in boards and cuet., but in some case you have to give a scholarship test for the approval.

Campus Life

5

There are so many fests, occassions held in the university and college campus basically whole year alwyas there are something happen but mostly february month is known as the fest month. there are a huge accessibility of books and journals available in the library. There are ACs in some classrooms and in every practical classrooms there is AC present, The accessibility of apparaturs , computers and other technological provisions (Projectors etc. ) are good. In college everyone get a fair chance to play their respective game if anyone have that skill then through trails they get selected. Our NCC is one of the best NCC in The University if Delhi. There are so many groups which help students so much there are so many cells just like North East Cell for the north east peoples etc.

Admission

I Applied for other colleges as well such as BHU, Tezpur University, University of Rajasthan and I got confrimed admission in all of them but I choose University of Delhi beacuseI wanted to be a student of this university for a backup plan I had applied in other universities. Actually Delhi University is one of the best college in our country apart from that there re also many opprtunities rather than academic so just i choose the University of Delhi. For my college it is necessary to pass the 12th Board Then need to appear for Cuet Exam after that according to the merit the students will get the admission. Cutoff the varies for different campuses and ranking of colleges also cutoff depends on courses and category as well.

Faculty

4

1. The student teacher ratio is good. Also faculties are very friendly and they are always egar to help. if anyone faces any problem the the faculties always helps you. 2. there is actually no comperision between faculties . Every one is specilist in their own field. I like every faculty because every faculty helps me a lot. 3. There are mainly two semister in every year. But also there is internal exams taken by the subject faculty before the sem exams for better preparation. The exams are not that much hard if anyone follows the instruction of faculty and study well the he/she can score marks easily. The raito of fail students are very low. There is a rare case when anyone failed in exams. in course curriculam there is socities such as astronomy club, Robotics club etc.

Night Life

5

There is a Gym present in the college, Everyone are able to go in the gym through their college ID, Timing are different for both boys and girls. Also there is a library present where everyone can sit and study peacefully. Students can also able to issue the books through the Library card given by college. The maximum Timing for Library is 8 am - 8 pm. The Timing of hostel maximum appoximately 11 pm at night after that students must be come to hostel or inform the hostel warden if any emergency work come. In the college my favourite places are Canteen Lawn, Ground and sitting area infront of the academic block. Its lacality is safe as this a a University Campus area But as we all know we have to be very carefull always.

Other Applied Colleges

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
