Likes

In Delhi University students have different perspective for of campus college but our college change that perspective and breaks the stereotype.
There are some course like BBA( FIA) which is provided by only few college and our college is one of them

Dislikes

The college campus need some renovation and ac in the lab don't work properly and students faces problem because of it in summer
The condition of the washroom is very poor and they need maintenance

Course Curriculum Overview

The relevance and comprehensive names of a Statistics sports parents on several factors including content structure and intend students. This course cover modern statistical tools example are excellent method such as data visualisation and machine learning.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 25600 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are the internships provided by different NGOs and corporate companies for the role HR recruitment, content, graphic designing, teacher, fundraiser and many more . Some of the internships are paid and some of them are non paid.

Placement Experience

Last year the highest package was 8.5 LPA and the average package was 4.93 lpa. Our college provide placement and there is a placement sale also which provides some internships to the students. There are very repeated companies in the placement for example Chegg, DeltaX, Ernst and young etc

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise I paid in 2023 was 23500 per year and this year I paid 25350 per year . In fee structure there is no such difference for the categories . The college provide fee concession for the students who needed it for which we have to submit some documents the faculty asked and there is one interview for it.

Campus Life

There are so many societies in our college and we have society's which are on global level for example ENACTUS, TEDx, GirlUp . There are so many annual fests of societies which provide workshop provide different aspects of our lives, there are so many inter college and intra College competitions . We have so many events.

Admission

I was very clear from the very first time I have to do statistics honours and this is one of the college which is providing statistics so I have applied only for this and I got the admission in this course and college

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very supportive and understanding. In the college first year we study three core subjects, one generic elective , skills enhancement course (SEC) , (VAC) value edition course and (SEC) Ability Enhancement course .There are two semesters in one year. There are practical exams before the theory exam every semester.

Night Life

Our college is the girls college and many of the students came from different parts of Delhi . So we have no such events that happen in night time . We have fests only upto 7pm in the evening and hostel students are also not allowed to enter the college after 8pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Dream college or not ?

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

The aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course is that i have biology subject in class 12 so i thought of bsc The frequency and timing are good because we can give exams of 2 semester at a same time

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

Likes

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

Likes

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

The faculty of this college is highly supportive. It is known for their approachable and helpful nature. They are dedicated to teaching. They create a positive environment for students. They guide the students very well and support them highly.
College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.
