Course Curriculum Overview
I chose history honours as I have intrest in this and basically it can work as a add on in my cv to be graduated from a renounce university of Asia in such a great course The curriculum is well planned as we were taught the world history and Indian history seperately and also there are various value added course which are included in NEP 2020 Skill enhancement course and general elective courses are also added in curriculum which helps in hollistic development of students
Internships Opportunities
Various companies such as WIPRO LLOYD DELL BOAT and other various companies come to the colleges every year and they choose students on merit basis. The placement cell of du is very great in this scenario as the highest package is around 56 lpa. Various clg in du have different placement cell which attracts the companies to come to their clg and choose students.
Fees and Financial Aid
I paid 12k for 1st year (admission fee for 1st year) And 10k for 2nd year Also we have to submit a examination fee in each semester which is around 1200 to 1500 rs And this annual fees in first line is vary from each category or department which is around from 8k (min) to 15k (max) Also scholarship is available for students as per their criteria... Student can get various scholarships which can be found on the official website of Delhi University where they can find the indepth details of every scholarship programme
Campus Life
There are a number of fest in delhi university at clg level or at university level which is basically held after the exams as in January and till March Library acces is based on your student id card Various extra curricular activities are also sponsored by various brands And yes societies are a very important part of du which give you exposure to various disciplines
Admission
Basically I give cuet exam and I want a college in North campus but due to my mistake in preference list I got DCAC and still I didn't regret as my clg is not that bad Admission process is very simple you have to submit all your documents in window cell which is located in administrative block and after submission you got all your details on your student email id
Faculty
Faculty members are very good and they're really approachable and have a decent attitude towards student. My HOD from history department who is a old lady and her name is mrs neeru and she is very caring and supportive and yes she is a little strict ???? There are 2 semester in each year and you have to pass each semester with min 50% (combined) to pass the year Exams are very easy and Total paper is depend on pyqs
Night Life
Nightlife in delhi is very good and around campus is also memorable. We used to go on a walk after our dinner in our colleges. Famous hangout places in delhi for clg students are cannought place and select city walk also moolchand parantha is a famous chai spot
