Likes
- I think the professors are actually really really good they do care about if we're studying or not, they themselves take extra clasess to make sure that our concept is clear and we're ready for the exam. Thet are also really friendly with us.
- The environment of Gargi is something I've never seen before. Gargi is a women's college which is an advantage as we can conduct the fests very smoothly and we can wear anything without any kind of fear, the girls the crowd is very supportive and fun
- Gargi has many animals who are adopted by our college itself, from squirrels to peacocks and dogs.. The presence of these friendly animals around us make the vibe of the surroundings even more better, the peacocks and the rabbits are very nice fed.
Dislikes
- The crowd of Gargi is in very high numbers, the number of students present in Gargi maybe excids the actual present seats.
- The water facility in Gargi is a bit disappointing sometimes there's not proper supply of water in washrooms
- We some where lack the rooms for conducting classes
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is very very good. The books and the way of teachers is impressive. I don't think so there's any changes needed in teaching, maybe the professors should cancel less classes this sometimes creates a chaos.
Internships Opportunities
I'm right now in my first year of college and i have not experienced any kind of internship but for a fact i know that Gargi has an active placement cell which brings in placements and internship opportunities for the students
Fees and Financial Aid
Firstly at the time of admission i had the amount of 18015 for the whole year. From some seniors I've heard that there might be an increase in this amount as we move in the upcoming years and some say that it is constant, so right now I'm in my first year and ig this is the ideal amount. The fee of my batchmates is also where the same there might be any changes in the case of peoole with the Schedule tribe or schedule caste but for general its the same. Some course are little expensive which include practical experiments. One of my friend who's in political science honous in the same college as mine who has the yearly fee of 18015 from which i can conclude that it's somewhere the same.
Campus Life
The clubs pr thr societies in Gargi give little over load in the work, the dance society and some other working societies don't not allow its members to attend proper lectures and their attendance is very low
Admission
The infrastructure and crowd of Gargi is good and free minded, the level of intellect is high making others also to uplift themselves. The English department of Gargi is actually better as compare to other colleges in the south campus, I'm not familiar with thr department of English in north campus colleges
Faculty
The faculty is yes approachable. Our English department is good and they are accountable to us, they provide thr information on time and exams are not essy nor much difficult.. They can be essy attempted by anyone who has attended the lectures properly
Night Life
The campus area of Gargi is safe, there are police officers alwys taking the around inside and outside the campus, insuring the safety of the students. The nearby place to handout is Haus khas which is little expensive but really fun.
