Course Curriculum Overview

4

The relevance in today's field of my course is I would say high. With right knowledge and skills one can get high package in industry and can also grow with experience. The faculty of my course in my college was really good and helpful and in my opinion better than other courses. The only flaw was some teachers who didn't knew the importance of their own subjects. They need to work on providing practical knowledge and group discussions

Internships Opportunities

4

College has provided a lot of goverment internships. Fallculty helps you to find this internships and you can get these internships through interviews and they give you chances to meet self build successful people in the field by organising meet ups which helps to build more connections and opens more opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

The placement cell of college is poor. They donot help students in getting placements or also don't help them with resumes. The companies that sat was also not very stabilised and offered really low wages. They really need to work on that. Also they need to start giving students lectures on how to ace interviews and skill devolopment. The average package was around 200000 which is not high obviously. A very low amount of students for placementa. I plan to work on my skills to get a better offer and work on relevant projects.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee I paid for first year was 16000,fee for second year was 18000 and later in third year i paid 20000 for my course. There was no admission fee. After registering and getting verified you just need to pay the college fee directly and secure your seat. There was no privilege as of based on the caste. Fee was same for all the communities.

Campus Life

4

Overall experience is good. You get to interact with a lot of people and it helps in building connections. There are different clubs and societies you can be in which helps to have to better social life. These societies also gives you space for your academics and also helps you to explore a lot of places and people. Teachers also provide assignments and presentations for overall devolopment. There are also lot competitions and reaseach programmes which helps in the gain of practical knowledge.

Admission

The faculty of my college for my course was overall better than other colleges. My aim was definitely Srcc but I couldn't made it there because my selection was based on merit and my merit was not high enough to get admission there. The faculty of Srcc is definitely best but my college faculty was also not very poor it was also nice and supportive. I chose this college because it has better campus and strict policy against bullying

Faculty

4

The faculty members are supportive and they work hard. The teachers provide notes and also helps to prepare notes for students for themselves. Also the reading provided by university are very relevant and helpful which makes it easier to study for exams and is very practical. The exams takes place every 5 month and question are purely based on practical knowledge which can be applied in the real world. The exam paper are provided by university and are decided into sections. The exams difficulty would be 3.5/5. Also to help understanding questions better in exam, teachers also provide assignment and presentations to help in doing better in exams. The exam notebooks are send to university so that there can be better in jased checking and no wrongdoings.

Night Life

4

College has two shift i.e morning shift and evening shift. In evening it becomes more beautiful. But with beauty college is also safe. There are places near it and police stationa and also metro so it is easy to attend classes in evening shift as well. There is ground and little park inside college and badminton spot which makes it even more fun. The locality is safe and pg are also at walking distance from college.

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Fine Arts [BFA]

I was unable to get admission in my preferred college because I was late and the seats were full

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
