- Poor infrastructure, I don't have my own department building.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is really nice and well structures. I'm enrolled in four year nep honours course. Which provide me an option to leave after each year if I need. After the completion of three years I'll get a honours degree in political science and after the fourth year I'll be getting honour's degree with research, which will enhance my future. The only problem I felt in the curriculum is that we've seven papers including 3 core and 4 electives which is bit difficult for students. And exams are conducted properly and regularly by giving enough holidays by the university, the only problem is that they conduct every semesters in both extreme winter and summer.
Placement Experience
During the last year students are eligible to sit for placements but from the second semester or first we can do internships. As my course is an art subject there are limited options for placements. And after my degree I'm planning for both JRF and civil service.
Fees and Financial Aid
In Delhi University each college and each course have different fee structure. I'm studying in Daulat Ram College in North campus of Delhi University which have a good political science department. In the first year I've paid 32,000 as my annual fee and for the second year it was 28,600.
Campus Life
Actually in Delhi University, the students life begins out of the college. In north campus almost all the colleges are situated very closely and that's why it is very easy to make friends and enjoy and participate in other college programs. Mainly the fest season begins in last of February and it kick start with DRC's manjari and then we've back to back fests almost till mid April.
Admission
Daulat Ram was my 5th option and my above options were Kirori Mal, LSR, Hindu, Miranda. I got Daulat Ram in first allotment and didn't get updated in the second one as there exist tight competition for Political Science. I've only applied for political Science.
Faculty
In my department I would say we're blessed with such good quality professors. The notable ones are Suranjitha Ray Ma'am,Shivali Aggarwal Ma'am,Vandana Tripathi Ma'am, Nitesh Sir etc. As far I know every professors are approachable and true guides and mentors to each of us. The also promote our extra curricular activities and help us to rectify our mistakes.
Night Life
Campus area is really nice at night time especially the VC lawn and arts faculty. But as the campus is not closed and accessible for public we must take a little care because there will be men boozing around and so many craps. Another problem is dogs. And shops near university will be closed by 9:30, but the nearest student habitat is Vijaynagar which is live till late night. During summers Vijaynagar will be live till 4 in the morning. And outside the university also there are so many hangout places like India gate, hauz khaz, INA, jama masjid, CP etc.
