Course Curriculum Overview

3

The improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods is mainly required because according to the new education policy there are many subjects like sec, vac skill enhancement courses and value addition courses with AEC ability enhancement courses are introduced but teachers who don't have experience in that subject and don't know about it also get that subject and teches us . Which focuses on theory more but the subjects are practical.

Internships Opportunities

4

Big four , tech Mahindra, indigo, etc many good companies come into the college and pickup good capable, potential students. And internship offered are many in office in gurgaon or noida which provides you stippend arround 10-15k . And role offered by those companies are simple like data entries, graphics designing, etc which you have to complete daily metting the deadline.

Placement Experience

3

1st to get placement you should join any placement cell, or societies which will give you internships which will provide you experience and exposure of work and help in placement. About from commerce arround 20 percent are being placed and about 10 percent of students from other courses also.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearwise fees paid by me 11500 rupees in 1st year 13500 rupees in 2nd year 14500 rupees in 3rd year This fees is only in my college and my course Other college or different courses fees is less mainly and higher in some courses. These tution fees, admission fees, lab fees and other compulsory charges are included in college annual fees. And there is exam registration fees which is around 1310 per semester depend on your course or practical subjects. While there is no changes in fee structure for any category students like SC,ST. My batchmates from other category have also same fees as mine SCHOLARSHIP FINANCIAL AID- this is the type of scholarship our principal provide for student who need financial help. So you need to fill form and give interview which is related to your background. So depending on your interview principal think how much percentage of annual fees you get return.arround 3000-5000 is basic amount you get Back .while some students also get 80 or 100 percent fees back. UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP - this is the scholarship you get depending upon your merit and your category College scholarship - it is given to below poverty line students and academically excellent students. SCHOLARSHIP

Campus Life

3

Let me start from the fest there are no college fest from past 2 years. Only just one fest which is DIVYOTSAV cultural fest happen once a year and no bollywood songs are allowed to play so it's so boring. And college have good facilities and infrastructure like library with all types of book e-book facilities and air conditioning but it didn't have much space. And in classroom commerce branch have good classroom where as evening block is worst but now is in construction.

Admission

We know that best college of delhi university is in North campus but there are many more colleges which are as good as those colleges. Shaheed Bhagat Singh Evening College is also one of the best for commerce in delhi university, it is know as srcc of south.

Faculty

4

The faculty members around my college is good in my geography department every teacher is good and one or two teacher is strict. And English faculty teachers are also good, pankaj sir from history department is best. In my course you require to choose in which subject you like do major in subject from your 2 main subjects

Night Life

2

No night life even if it's a evening college mostly the classes end at 8pm. So even if you have class from 8-9 you would not find any crowd in college, there are no jym , hostel facilities and college canteen is also not up to the mark but outside the canteen it's good place to chill out with freinds

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

Because there was very limited seats (arround 100 seats) in this course in delhi university and require best cuet score.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are mainly for commerce stream departments but the humanities stream also are offered internship from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and Home ministry. There are many private companies that come to offer placements. The students from 3rd year in particular apply for internships. The highest package iffered is 500000 and the average is 250000. About 45% students get placements. My plan after getting the degree is to go for higher studies.

As a future law student philosophy was one of the options which was good to opt. Secondly, comparatively less people opt it and it can be one of the better choices if you are preparing for upsc and taking it as an optional. Teaching can be made more interactive as the topics are really interesting

Remarks:

Positive : the faculties are good and I could say our college is the meeting place of various cultures ranging from Kerala to jammukashmir Negative: the infrastructure is poor. Labs and libraries are not so good. And there are stray dogs who often steps into classes and make us afraid. College is not fully air conditioned but is on processing.
