- The Faculties of physics department are very friendly, helpful and understanding.
- The department faculties are well educated & explain concepts very nicely.
- College library, main ground , TT , auditorium are good .
Dislikes
- Canteen food was disappointed a lil bit. The food hygiene is less maintained .
- Water facility is poor & isn't available after 2pm & no availability of cold water in summers.
- Washrooms are very poorly managed ....not cleaned in any department .
Course Curriculum Overview
I would like to rate the course 5/5 . I used to love physics in my school and I didn't get my dream cllg (I wanted to do engineering) so , I opted for physics hons in Kalindi college. This subject holds real life applications too....you get exposure to project works related to field areas , visits to different science museums and institutions. The exams level are moderate and depends on your preparation too ... But previous year question will help you to cross the sea.
Placement Experience
The college has its placement cell....which offers various placements from different companies. The placement is not so good nor it is too bad...you can also apply for off campus placements too. The placement is around 3-4 LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is of my course is yearly. It is around 30k per year . It includes tution fees , departmental fees , examination fees was around ?1500 per semester . It remains same for every category student . Yes , scholarships are available for different students on different critertiea .
Campus Life
KI have great campus life during my college days.. You get so many clubs in the first year to try , to explore yourself such as NCC , NSS , music , sports , creativity etc...every week you have club activities... You get different fests during the fest time in DU. Departmental fests , club fests and the main college fest which is super good , enjoyable . The classrooms are pretty good too.
Admission
I haven't apply for any other college in DU other than this....I get it in my first list , so I get in it....as I wanted to do engineering but unluckily , I couldn't , so I opted for this college only .... Though college campus is not much in size but comparing to other colleges of same level , it is better in college area wise , the campus is neat , beautiful in its own way....the working staff & the teaching staff both are super good .
Faculty
The Faculties of my department were very good . They teach very well with conceptual clarity and with a lot of patience with students. They were very helpful , friendly and paternal figure to talk to whatever you want to share . The course was divided into 26 subjects (including optionals ) . Every semester you have 6 theory subjects plus 3-4 lab classes according to the subjects . Mark schemes were credit points ,following the new education policy . Internal marks are given in the basis of project work , practicals , lab classes , attendance.
Interview Experience
No,written examination happened during my time...admission is totally based on your 12th marks and then cutoff list comes accordingly you fill your college and course preference and check your cut off marks ...then fill the college whichever u are getting.
Night Life
We have hostel in construction during our time ,so we used to live in PGs in nearby area of college. The college area is very good , safe for girls ....one of the greenest , porous area of delhi . Every facility is available in the area . Also , you get gym , medical , grocery facilities around the college and in the college too... The night life is amazing.....
