Faculty members of JDMC is highly qualified and experienced . Teachers are supportive and helps us in learning.
JDMC has a well - maintained campus with clean classrooms , labs and library with a good collection of books. The Greenery of campus makes it more beautiful . The auditorium for cultural fest is amazing .
It provides a safe and empowering environment for women ,which helps us to grow personally and professionally

Dislikes

The food of canteen is not that much good , sitting space in cafeteria is small.

Course Curriculum Overview

The mathematics curriculum at jdmc is well planned , covering important topics like algebra, calculus and applied mathematics. It includes both practical and theory learning , helping students prepare for jobs in research , data science and finance. Exams are semester - based and have moderate difficulty . The course could improve by adding more basic coding and industrial topics . Regular tests help us learn better.

Jdmc provides good internship opportunities through Career opportunity cell (COC) . Plasmid : offers sales internship in Noida,sector 62 Infollion Research Services : Provides research based opportunity . Student works on real projects like market research, sales and client handling .

Campus Life

Annual festivals are Jyotsna held in November and Symphony '25 held in February. The JDMC library houses over 100,000 books and more than 100 journals . JDMC has total 84 classrooms design with effective teaching. It has many societies, like Avani ( environment society ), NCC and NSS ( sports society) ,Nupur and Nritya (Dance society ) ,these society helps students to showcase their talents.

Admission

I applied for various colleges of delhi university in bsc honours mathematics. I got JDMC through my cuet score . The colleges are given on the basis of cuet marks and it also depends on the cut- off of colleges. Eligibility is students must have passed 10 +2 education with a minimum percentage , varying by course. Cut- off for bsc( hons ) maths is aprrox 300 marks

Faculty

The faculty is highly qualified and experienced. They are very supportive and friendly in nature. Faculty of Mathematics department: Dr.Ritu Arora : Assistant professor specializing in coding theory . Ms. Teena Kholi : Assistant professor with expertise in Operator theory. Mr. Laxmi Kant : Assistant professor focusing on applied mathematics. The faculty I liked is Dr. Ritu Arora who taught us Real Analysis in 1st semester. She is a strict teacher but her way of teaching is fabulous.

Night Life

The closing time of gym. Cafeterias , library and public area is 5 : 00 pm . Campus timing : 9:00am to 5: 30 pm. Closing time of hostel is 7 : 30 pm The hangout places inside the college is cafeteria and outside the college you can hangout in cafes near karol bagh metro station like zero degree or in the karol bagh market for shopping . The area is safe to roam around at night

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

this course is not bound to a particular subject or field. you can go to different fields after pursuing this course. curriculum is good it helps students and practicals are performed in labs which gives a real life experience difficulty level of exams is very moderate and you can pass the exam easily pyqs are repeated oftenly

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.

College has a calm and quiet environment. It is surrounded by greenery. It is located in rural area. It is away from noise of city. It helps students to focus on their studies in a stress-free environment. It provides students a peaceful learning.
College provides a good transportion. It is situated nearby a bus depot. The college has its own bus also. It makes easy for students to travel to and from the college.

Dislikes

Infrastructure of the college is worst. There is lack of proper buildings for classes. The canteen area is also not good. There is lack of complete apparatus in physics and chemistry labs. There are so many issues like broken seats and materials.
The college lacks a dedicated placement. There is limited structure support for students. Students have to secure internships and job offers through their personal efforts.
There is absence of societies and extra curricular activities. While the college has some clubs and events. The college does encourage students to engage in activities.
