Motilal Nehru College has one of the biggest library of Delhi University, Motilal Nehru College library has various fields of books, facilities for pyq and other many things.
Motilal Nehru College Canteen is also good. Canteen is totally hygienic. Food quality is also good. Motilal Nehru College canteen has very affordable rate.
Motilal Nehru College Sports ground is also good. Here various sports played by students and faculty members and proffesor. It has also NCC facility. Which is also good.

Dislikes

Motilal Nehru College and one of the biggest campus of Delhi University but for me it is slightly less.
Motilal Nehru College has not fully Air conditioning. Some classes has AC. But not all classes. In summer it's too hot.

I rate 5 out of 5. Delhi University's Motilal Nehru College has one of the finest structure for mathematics Hons course. It's provide all aspects of mathematics. It's provide skills courses, vac courses, AEC course etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year fees for Maths Hons course is 17k approx. College provide various scholarships, some are specially for girls and minorities. This is one of the good college in south campus University of Delhi. Maths honours has 2 options either opt for 3 years or 4 years, calculate your fees accordingly.

Campus Life

There are many clubs, society etc in Motilal Nehru College. Dance club, readings club, sports, NCC, etc and each department has one it's own club. There are various clubs, society available in Motilal Nehru College which you can join.

Admission

I didn't choose Motilal Nehru College or delhi university any college. My aimed college was Indian Statistical Institute Delhi. But due to some reason I didn't take admission in that college. But after getting admission in Motilal Nehru College and experiencing it's course structure it's also good

Faculty

Faculty members of Motilal Nehru College is good, humble and understandable. Faculty is not too strict. Course structure of Bachelor of Science Hons in Mathematics is good. First semester has 3 core paper, 1 general elective paper, 1 ability enhancement course paper, 1 skills enhancement course paper and 1 value added course paper. Each semester paper has slightly different.

Night Life

I think college should have its own hostel. But delhi university many college has not hostel. Which I think is not good. Because students came from each corner of country to delhi university, so there should be some resistance facilities available in college inside with guidance.

THE ALL ROUNDER

Likes

The college has a very beautiful greeny campus.
The library is just the best thing that the college has , it is the largest in du, with computers study area all books and magazines newspaper and other necessities.
The students and teachers are very kind helpful ambitious and intelligent , you will learn a lot here.

Dislikes

The administration sometimes works too slowly regarding dew things.
The canteen is very big and food is also nice but in rain water gets concentrated there.

Placement Experience:

it is said that the placements of this college are good and average being 10LPA and 17 LPA the highest. Many companies come for the placement drive every year and many of seniors have got placement in their third year.

I will rate the course curriculum 8/10. I like the labs specially they are modern with well equiped systems. According to me I suggest to improve the course structure to include more practical based learning instead of theory. Overall course is good.

Likes

Greenery of college campus and surrounding areas
Close metro access and other basic amenities
Diverse crowd which allows good exposure overall

Dislikes

Wifi Network is slow and not available at all places in campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Life science includes zoology botany and chemistry considering this combo I think the study material is quite okay in terms of topics chemistry connects school teaching with one step ahead learning . Zoology provides new insights on various topics . Botany covers deeper understanding of syllabus . So overall it's good . Hands on lab work meets the demand of the subject . Also the topics taught match with the type of questions asked in exam. Difficulty level i would say it's moderate for botany and zoology but for chemistry is quite tough. Time management is a much needed skill for examination purpose. For course curriculum i would say more focus on current situation should be laid rather than history .

venky is one of the best college in south campus

Likes

ratio of girls to boys is almost equal and students are well behaved
quality of social interaction is good students are cooperative
college societies are helpful for students and provide good guiding

Dislikes

our campus have 30+ dogs which is sometimes harmful for students
there is a language barrier between students and teachers
EVs faculty is very strict and they are not cooperative

The life at SVC

Likes

The fees is quite affordable, giving you a lot of flexibility for other academic programs/ commitments
The college has a great reputation and brand value
The exposure that the college provides in real life

Dislikes

The infrastructure is old and outdated, has a lot of scope for improvement
The administrative work is very slow and includes too much formalities
Low focus on co curricular activities and sports

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for campus placements in the 3rd year of their graduation. Various companies offer multiple roles for placements on our campus like Nation With NaMo, Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture etc. and the no. of offers made usually varies between 250-400 depending on the batch. The average package is around 6.5-7 LPA and the highest usually varies from 13-15 LPA L. Usually 50 percent of the students get placed directly from campus and rest usually pursue some other academic programs or even off campus placements.

the location, nearest metro station ie Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus is at a walking distance of 2-5 mins
the crowd, students are quite decent and friendly.
opportunities, in college itself there are so many opportunities for students to explore through college societies

Dislikes

classes are canceled sometimes without any prior notice which creates a hassle for students coming from far away.

Placement Experience:

the placements of sri venkateswara college are quite good. campus placements are offered for third and fourth year students to the best of my knowledge. the average ctc offered was of 6.43 lacs, highest of 13.4 lpa. many great companies like bain and company, bcg, ey, deloitte, pwc, goldman sachs, accenture, rsa offered placements. in total, 70+ companies came and about 115+ students were placed.

I like the atmosphere in our college. Our college promotes us to think beyond the boundaries.
We have lush green campus in vivek vihar . Our campus is surrounded by parks and we'll managed societies.
The student in our college share a very good mindset . Each student has some unique qualities or the other .

Dislikes

The faculty is not very good here . The teachers don't listen to problems faced by the students .
Our college's online presence is very disturbed. Our college website lags a lot and there are always issues with attendence.
The authorities are not very well managed .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think that the course curriculum is good and well managed . The curriculum has all necessary subjects related to our course as well as all other necessary subjects like human values and basic ethics. I find our course curriculum is apt for our course . Thought their is a lag for more practical learning and skills. It will be better if they add more practical learning.

The Honest Opinion about Hansraj College

Likes

The College provides great Exposure to everyone.
The Crowd and Societies of the College are always active and energetic.

Dislikes

The whole structure of Admin office is underdeveloped, which utilizes a lot of our precious time.
Many of the College events are ill-organised.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus of Electronics Hons and Electrical Engineering is same but makes it different is how we perceive it. We study the syllabus with theoretical aspects while the engineers with practical aspects. We have a chance to opt for the 4th year, which only comprises of Research. One of the optionals is Generic Elective and if you take GE from same department for all semesters, you will attain a minor degree. The Faculties and whole curriculum is great but the other optionals require improvement. The other optionals only make the Student Life hectic, that stumbles the Student's focus from Course track.
