Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum structure was enaging and well structured. Most of the texts kept the curiosity alive throughout. However sometimes there was a difficulty in procuring those texts. Those texts could have been taught in a better manner by inculcating movie screengs and more such activities. Also students are usually unaware of how the skills that we are taught will help us in our future careers.
Internships Opportunities
The focus was more on placements. There were internship opportunities but they were comparitively less and the roles offered were also not that helpful. The placement cell was quiet helpful so if students can discuss it with the cell, they would definitely work on it.
Placement Experience
Our placement cell was active throughout. They had a neatly designed website through which we could look out for opportunities and apply to them. We were eligible for placements in our final year and we were encouraged to start applying in opportunities right from the start of our final year. Although the roles and packages were good but there was still scope for better considering the placements of North Campus Colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for my course was approx 15k per moth. DU is known for its affordable education. It was a great experience overall considering the amount. All the basic amenities were there and didn't have to struggle for it everyday.
Campus Life
I was a part of rudra, which was a dramatics socciety. My entire experience was wholesome and joining this society gave my college life an altogether new and different direction. The team was really good back then, however there was little suport from college authority's end. The authorities could have supported the extra curricular activities in a better manner.
Admission
I chose PGDAV college because it has good metro connectivity. It is located in a good locality. There was 1% relaxation for the female candidates. I ddid apply to other universities and college but i wanted to secure admission in Delhi University.
Faculty
The faculty was good overall. They were helpful and available as and when needed. They did communicate all the essential details properly but there was always scope for betterment when it comes to establishing a better communication between the students and the faculty.
Night Life
There is no hostel available. However the students that stayed in PG's could enjoy the nighlife because the college is located close to lajpat nagar. The students could go to amar colony and nearby food spots.
