Likes
- The college is newly built. The infrastructure is top notch. We have lift in every building. Classes have proper ventilation and enough space to accomodate students of the batch easily.we also have projector in every class.
- The people at the college are great.They are always there to help you ,especially seniors. Admin is super friendly, if you have any doubt you can go there and they will be ready to help you any day.
- The faculties are great they know how make the students learn every concept in a fun way.
Dislikes
- The college's timetable is grueling. It makes sure that student drains out their whole energy in college
- Most of faculties are good but few lacks knowledge of teaching.
- The campus is vibrant but small and has only a single groud to play.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course has a blend of business and economics which makes it very practical and applied. It also teaches us it tools and data analysis to ensure skill development. Course Structure is great I don't see any need to change it. Exams are easy and happen 2 times per semester.
Placement Experience
You are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Multiple companies visited including Deloitte,kpmg,icici bank,zomato etc. 300 offers were makde to the students The highest package last year was 12 lpa and average was 5.7 lpa and profies offered were financial analyst, business development associate, marketing, management trainee etc I think around 40 percent got placements I am planning to do mba after this degree
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission in ba hons in business economics at Aryabhatta college,du I had to pay 33000 as the first yr fees. Fees for all the years of this course is same so the total fees of this course is around 100000 (considering you do the degree for three years) There is no such fees as admission fees, caution money, lab fees. You have to pay a yearly fees which I mentioned and that covers everything from admission fees to lab fees. Fees for all the categories including ews,pwd,sc,st is same. There is no fee aid for any category students There is no such scholarship that this university provides because the fees is already low.
Campus Life
There is no annual fest or technical fest in college. A fest happens but the month is not fixed. Library has a lot of books from all the genere. Classes have projector that it nothing much Campus has sports facilities for all the sports. You name it and you will find here. Campus has a lot of students run clubs in different sectors like in finance , dramatics, dance , singing, marketing etc
Admission
I had also applied to lpu and got the admission letter also but chose this college due to low fees and great location. I had applied to symbiosis pune also and got rejected. I think the reason for rejection was my bad performance in personal interview My college accepts only cuet-ug for admission in all the courses including business economics. The cutoof for this course for general category was 448/750
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good thought I don't know the exact ratio. Faculties are approachable and ask students to ask any kinds of doubts they have. I liked Gayatri mam.She teached us micro economics. Her best things was inclusivity the way she makes sure every student contributes in the class was phenomenal I didn't like mridula mam because she teaches from her students notes. She opens the notebook prints everything on board and that's it. No further explanation. There are two exams each semester (mid sem and final sem). Exams are easy and around 95 percent students qualify them. Course is extremely relevant because it is very applied.
Night Life
Nightlife is decent but not around the college you will have to travel 1 km to go for cafes and all. Campus has no hostel. Famous hangout places are in satya niketan like macd, wendeys, sandoz etc. .............
