Likes
- The College got a nice infrastructure including AC, lift, good benches, smart room, movie screening rooms and all.
- Well there are some seniors in our course which already have done Master in a different stream and now they are in our class so it's real nice. This college is best for exposure.
- Our professors are nice to us they keep us engage with the lecture, they give us knowledge about World and our self as well apart from teaching only syllabus. They all are great.
Dislikes
- This course is do not have a lot of carrer options. Some major fields are UPSC, Professor, Teacher, LAW. And there's few more but not a lot.
Course Curriculum Overview
For the course i must say that this is something everyone needs to study about even if it's for just a part. We have ethics, moral, cultural relativism and etc. In our syllabus and it all really help to make our thinking rational, to see World from that point of view from where one can see the clarity. It's really necessary for improvement in personality and making good decision. I think there's need for making this course more practical like teaching, we can teach students about essentials of philosophy for there betterment of decision making from an early age.
Internships Opportunities
If students want to work in the field of research and want to go on the same line further like wants to do phd then there's a lot of opportunities for this. Our college provides a lot of chances of for working over research paper.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fee for Master of Philosophy is 8176 per year without any Increasement in the fee. Financial Support Scehmes - Do provide fee waiver up to 100% or 50% depending upon eligibility of the students.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is really good, we got a nice library one can find books there esaily, of there course but not all books. December- February: These months are fest season and the fests are really really good. Every student loves DU fest and. In September - DU hosted dandiya night for two days as well.
Admission
After doing my graduation i gave cuet pg for philosophy course which is an entrance exam for the pg courses. I applied for Jawaharlal Nehru University as well but i didn't had enough marks to secure seat there. My 2nd priority was Department of Philosophy, North Campus and i cleared 1st cut off and got admission in this college. The college is really nice.
Faculty
Overall facility is really nice. The professors, the office head, our Dean everyone is really. They always helps a lot. Before every semester exams we do assignments, presentation and after it we have Internal Assessment and then the final semester exams. There are total of 4 semesters.
Night Life
The North Campus is safe and nearby college hostels are present and there's a lot of cafe to hangout and etc. Police do petroling at night as well. You can study for whole night at the University library as it's always open.
