The faculty to student ratio is 1:50 which means that for 1 subject, a teacher teaches a class of almost 40-50 students excluding the extra 'tute' classes. The faculties are really approachable and genuinely know their subjects like the back of their hand. I have no 'disliked' faculties as such because everyone is great at what they teach and they try to make themselves clear and also provide students with reality checks once in a while which helps the student realise their potential to work hard on themselves and motivate everyone to build a competitive environment. There are 2 exams per semester namely the, Mid term examination (MTE) and the End term examination (ETE). The mid term examination focuses on partial covering of the syllabus and tests you on your understanding of the base level concepts and the End Sem or the End term focuses on your understanding of the core concepts which will prove to build a base for the concepts to be taught in the later semesters.
The infrastructure is hands down top notch. The benches are comfortable, the classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and almost every classroom has windows which provides good ventilation. Every classroom also has a smart monitor and a podium with mic for the teacher to stand. The societies in this college are also hardworking and occupied by great and hardworking minds. There are multiple categories targeted society such as the Economics society, the music society, the dance society, the training and placement cell, the sports society, SPICMACAY, Rotaract Club, NSS club, the fashion society and much more. There is no 'campus life' as such because the campus is not widely spread across and is limited.
My experience about campus life is worst because there is no freedom you cannot move from out of your hostel after 9:00 p.m. and you cannot go out of your hostel without taking any permission you have to take permission from higher authorities
The curriculum provides a solid conceptual base while also encouraging problem solving critical thinking and analytical skills practical assignment presentation and project work help brist the gap between theory and real world applications
The quality of education is good. Faculty is quite experienced as well as helpful....due attention is paid to lab work. Laboratory instruments are in decemt working conditions. Many scholarship programs are available to make education affordable.
Multiple socieites ranging from enactus to debating , etc are present which encourage holistic development of students and provides many opportunities. Timely seminars also take place which help students to explore opportunities.
The annual event of SVC is Nexus which is held on a massive scale and along with it different societies also have their annual events. These events are usually held around February and March and students from different DU colleges enjoy these fests. There are multiple societies within the college like Enactus, Empathise, Effulgence etc. Sports and extra curricular are also active.
Top companies like De Shaw, KPMG, Deloitte, PWC, and others come to college for various internships for different positions like marketing intern, research intern and others. Placement cell stays active bringing in as many companies for internships and placements as possible.
My overall campus life is very good. Clubs are very active which helps in the overall development of the student. Bokks and very much accessiable in the library. Technology in the classrooms is very good , projectors and mic are present in the classrooms. Sports and ectracurricular activities provided are very good. yes there are student run clubs. They have a very positive imapact on the students as they help in overall development of the students.
I would rate course curriculum good , for students interested in economics , public policy and data analysis. It prepares students for real life applications along with critical thinking. More practical exposure and hands of experience is required. The frequency of exams is fairly timed. the level of exam is moderate focusing on conceptual knowledge and clarity of the concepts.
I did'nt get involved in any event, fest, because I wasn't a regular student. I did attend the Motivational session. For MBA the books which are in the library is of no use because that books don't have the colleg curriculum. No doubt that the books are from great authors but from from exam point of view they are not aligned. They mention that they have Kuber Club for finance student but in reality there was no club.
The placement were average in 2025 in my opinion. The Average was 3-3.5 lpa. Companies which came TCS, Ultra Tech, Workie, Medibuddy, Samatrix Consultig, Fingertips, HDFC, ICICI Bank,WM, ExtraMarks Education, Bajaj Finance, Jaro Education etc. The other roles were Marketing, Business Development, Sales Executive, Virtual Relationship Manager,Personal Banker,
There are many societies in our college some even I don't know. I was a member of the art society which is Spectra. I had a great time working with the members of that society, they provide chances for everyone involving every member collectively in every occasion. Though funds are provided by the college some amount is also collected as a contribution by all the society members.
My college fees for my course was 18000 per year which is for the two semesters. It didn't change nor increased since the time of Admission. It was affordable for me as the fee structure was constant.Though I belong to ST category all my classmates paid the same amount as I did for my course. I didnt receive any scholarship amount as was not aware about it.
The detailed fee structure of my college comprises a tuition fee of one lakh ten thousand rupees on a yearly basis. I will be paying next year's fee with an increase of ten thousand rupees. There was a fixed registration fee on the college's website. There are no particular scholarships available. The fees for the complete course sum up to four lakh rupees.
There are internship opportunities we can apply for that float in the official college groups. Along with that, we have an internship week for many companies to come in campus to select students. There are various domains that are provided in the commerce and management sector.
Placements are offered 3-5L is average package but one must not solely depend as only few of them get selected not everyone.Internship are also offered to students .Placements cell also train students fir interview questions to boost confidence.
Internships have been provided by Infosys and Tech mahindra. They have to be really trained. It includes cybersecurity AI.While the university does provide internships students should make tgere own contracts as well
The main festival is chilamb which is kalolssavam is the main program that is in the college. Which is celebrated by the whole college itself for 3 days. Telling about the library we have a madsive library containing the syllabus novels and all other type of books and journals. Sports is a well maintained and focused factor in the college. And does a great support for them.. College contains many groups like nss, ncc, csa and thavanish which is great opportunity for people who are introverts. I hot a great campus life in there
So for me the courses fee is okay that is approximately 54k. You might think what does it cost this much but the thing is the college is itself a big one with smarclasses and great opportunities ahead. So for me its a great deal to get this colleg in for this fees. But there is a thing that for students who opt any other courses they may get the fees more or less. If they have any scholarship its their luck
In our college there are 5 faculty 1 maths 2 english 3 chemistry 4 it system 5 python In this my favourite faculty is chemistry all the teachers of chemistry faculty is best and the faculty of maths is best all faculty is best There are 3 types of exam 1 mid sem exam 2 viva 3 GTU exam
Me experience of college campus is so beautiful because in the campus there is parking facility is best In college campus there is walking space and garden etc In the campus there is playing area In the campus there is canteen and bedminton court
my most favourite teacher is because ashita mam because she explain everything in a simplest way possible . and Faculties which i dont like is patni mam because she more focus on personal relations with student dosent focus on their growth and improovement . If we talk about teacher student perspective and relation the teacher are so friendly and supportive we can easily talk to them and clear our doubt. Talking about the exams basically i give 4 exams per sem from which 2 are CIE like unit test and 1 is practical and 1 is END sem which is written. In practical there is oral examination also.So likewise i give exam in single semester.and all the exams are on moderate level.teachers provide notes previous year question paper so no any worry about exams. almost 80% student pass the exams and remaining 20 %peopls dont study so they dosent get that much marks so they get failed.Course curriculam is totally designed according to upcoming skills and technology and placement perspective.
IN my college 85000 is a per year course fees. From this I pay Only 12000 by myself. And other 72000 is given through scholarship. And all the fees including tution fees, registration fees, admission fees, lab fees, uniform fees, other cumpulsory charges like sports fees, jersey fees, sports equipment fees are included in all this 85000 rs.I am from SC category thats why I have to Pay 12000 by myself. And Fees structure for ST category Is also same as SC category. And my other friends and batchmates from another category has to pay entire fees like 85000 and thoss who take admission from Management quota they pay extra 5 to 6 lakhs for admission each and every year with the college fees. My scholarship is came from goverment from the skim Rajashri shahu post matric scholarship.and there is no any need of mirit list and marks for qualification it just you gets that scholarship from the category.
The subjects of this course are very interesting which helps me to improve in the real world. The teachers are very helpful they are preparing us for the real world. They help us to make something creative like a product or something.
This college host the big college fest in delhi that is engifest. This happens in the main campus of dtu which is in rohini. Books are easily available in the library. Our college provides sports opportunities also.
One of the best faculty in my college. the faculty to students relationship is good. If you have any query, faculty are solve your query. There are many faculty i like but not mention here. There is two exam in every semester one is mid exam which is taken by college and other is gtu exam which is taken by university.
In my course and also other course fee is same. But this fee is change with semester. The total fee include tuition fee, caution fee, registration fees, admission fees, etc is 1080 in 1st year. Scholarships like mysy, food bill, digital gujarat, etc available for students benifits.
There is an internship week organised by the college in which several different types of companies come in campus and online to host interviews and selection processes. There is a USIP internship that the college provides in which you have to intern for your own college.
The faculties are highly qualified and well educated. The curriculum is relevant to the real world needs and gives us a good base and preparation for the job market. The difficulty level of exams is pretty fair for the students and their cognitive enhancement.
GRAFEST, Durga Puja, Holi, Diwali, Rangoli Competition and likewise Janmashtami Competition and all are organized by Graphic Era University at a very high level. Also, Uttarakhand Day and National Festivals like Independence Day and all are also celebrated at our campus. So, campus enjoyment is next level here because the pace of academics match the pace of events here.
Graphic has a particular way of recruiting as what I see is just two experienced professors and rest 15-17 are young guns. With young guns I mean below the age of 30 as they have studied the new and modern technology. So, Graphic Era University has gone with a belief that new people.can bring in different energy and help students excel.
So the total fees of the year is between 18000 to 20000 as in first year i paid 20000 and in second year it was decreased to 19000 and the course fees is same for all expect the pwd as the have to pay a very little amount and there is also registration fees that is 1200 to 1500 which has been increased from 1st semester to coming semester but there are no other extra charges for the course like there are no extra compulsory charges in the course completion. Besides this the college also provide fee concession on depending various factors as family annual income there background etc along this the scholarship is also provided to the meritorious students like who have scored more than 8.5 cgpa in a year like Prof. Anil Krishan Aggarwal Meritorious Award (for bsc students in final year),Ravimohan Bharti Scholarship by Prof. Preeti Tiwari, Department of Geography ( for geography students in final year),Dr. Usha Aggarwal Trust ( for b.com students). Basically these all scholarship are based on the marks obtained by the students in their final examination along this scholarship is also provided to bpl and pwd students which is named as Vice Chancellor Student Fund- Financial assistance for BPL students and PWD students.
The college has a placement cell and provide a very good rate of placement for the courses like b.com ,bsc and some for the courses such as geography. Placements take place in the 5th sem if you are doing three year degree or in the 7th sem if you are doing four year degree. The number of companies visited were about 80 to 90 the names of the recruiters is as Google, Accenture, Amazon, Talent Serve, Deloitte. The highest package was of 24 lpa and the median salary is 5 lpa the lowest package was of 2 lpa . 60 % of students are placed in placement. My plans after getting the degree is will prefer higher education
In terms of infrastructure, hansraj has done incredible job. Hansraj has annual fest called confluence held in mostly march or April. We have desk in good condition in classroom and projector and AC too. Hansraj has 65+ society. And Hansraj also has sports related Events like khelo hansraj.
I don't have enough information regarding the placement but all I know is that there is a campus placement offers and it is managed by placement cell of Hansraj College. College gives enough theory knowledge but fir the soft skills we need to take extra care of that after college.
I would rate the curriculum as quiet relevant, and fairly comprehensive. I don't find the curriculum or the syllabus very difficult to understand if I give my time to it, I will succeed. One area of improvement would be real life case studies. These should be included more.
the students are from different parts of the world and it honestly improves the relations because we get to learn new cultures and the whole conversation is enriching along with this. The society events are also planned throughout the year that the students look up to.
