Many conferences, and medical seminars are conducted by the college. Every year they are celebrating the women's day for the respect of the women. The college taking more contribution in making the big event.

The exams and are conducted frequently , For me, personally I tend to thrive on that bit of stress and Tension coming up to exams, but that’s only if it’s in small doses."It is not a chill culture in my college.

GAT is the entrance exam for GITAM. You can also join in Management quota but it costs more.I have chosen this because I got other opportunities but parents did not allow me to go outside the city and hence had to join here. There is no Interview process for joining. Just attempt the exam and you are in.I love Electronics and I have chosen Electronics and Communication in GITAM.

Faculty were much experienced in IT field. They thought us very well and the best part was they were friendly. Faculty were kind of all rounder they also thought us personality change, about good behavior, how to showcase talent.

Fest like Technocrat, spectrum, inspirea were the best time of life. They all were our campus fest. They were for 5 to 15 days. We all participated for managing, organising and playing in fests.

Halcyon is the college fest which is organized during march and apart from that there are lots of events conducted in college Technical events are technisium, IEEE ideas, Quizzing inc events, corsit events for robotics and there are some students organization in the college too and they conduct cultural events time to time like team Quest who conducts jash and mock placement event Qts and in addition to that a fresher's event. Halcyon is quite big and rest are college level Technisium is national level event. Organization do really well in gathering crowd and sponsors and making the event successful since they are run by the students not college authority

The faculty members of my department are well qualified . They will teach whatever is in the syllabus but won't encourage to go beyond that. On an average the facilities have 10-15 years of teaching experience some new faculty members are there too and some are having 25-30 years of teaching experience too. They are interactive in class sometimes but not always, we are allowed to ask any doubts beyond class hours too but nobody does that kind of stunt.

I gave the CET exam for getting admission in RCPIT. Then college conducted an induction program. After that Bridge course of 10 days were taken and on the basis of that our batches were divided. Their is no interview process. The college is good that made me to choose it.

I have cleared GET (Gitam Entrance Test) to get an admission in this college. I wanted to pursue an MBA after my graduation but I wished to stay at Visakhapatnam so this college was the best in town. There was no interview process, I had to submit only my Btech degree certificate. I was interested in finance management and hence I took up FINTECH (financial technologies) in this college.

Faculty were qualified teachers with 8 to 10 years experience in this industry. A few teachers were world famous for their articles and journals. They were very interactive where we had two way talking in the class and just not where teacher is teaching. We had videos, stage shows, projectors and bill boards to explain the concepts.

I think my college is good but the thing is they must try to make their students placed in a high amount as much they can because there are several good students who cannot get placements.

No placement scenario in the college and little bit in the computer department may have the placement. Percentages of the students is less placed in the campus. Normal company come here for placement.

Course is good according to me But college is not good Faculty have no experience and teaching method is not good They dont know how to teach and how to interact with the students

few strange thing i have to mention. little freedom from theory attendance those who are extremely talented in practical work or skills improve alumni programs. make a platform to pass out student to contribute to collage any how if they want. must be remove (or lower )the penalty system on exams fees.because every student can't afford that much money to pay if he missed out to pay exam fees before specific date. notice board student at student section, every student not to check daily that noticeboard for getting info about exams and event and other stuff. so its good to have different way like any mobile apps or class room boards.

Exam are always been problem for any student. but in RKu there is a little twist with attendance and exams.if you don't have enough attendance through out semester then u hammer your head because Rku don't allow to you get in exams until u fulfill attendance percentage by seating in library or computer labs after collage hours. other thing are same as other collages as per exams. practical exams are the best i fell.the result what student wait eagerly,RKu declare exams result so fast within a 15-20 days after exams finished.

The placements were taken up by the placement cell from our college. About 80% of the students got placed this year. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, JP Morgan, Hyundai, TCS, Capgemini, etc visit our college every year. The average package was about 4 to 5 lakh per annum.

Our Technical fest is Convergence. Our cultural fest is Sintillashunz.we do have a sports fest. About one week we have all these fests. Students from several colleges visit our college and take part of our fests.

Many cultural events are conducted by the college in occasions such as Women’s Day, Teachers Day, Environment Day etc. Students participate in creative activities like Essay writing, Poem writing, Elocution, Poster Designing etc.

The placement scenario in my college is moderate. The department help the students for the placement activities in the credible organizations. The placement cell conducting seminars and group discussions for the students.
