Got in on the basis of marks obtained in 12th. I always wanted to do my Graduation in English. Ramjas is one of the most reputed colleges of the Delhi University and it was always my preference. There was no interview, just had to clear the board marks cutoff to make it to the merit list.

Alumni/Alumna

Never interacted with the alumni as nothing of such sort was organized by the college. Although we did come to know about the previous graduates from our colleges placed in good companies .This we were told by our seniors or teachers and no face to face talk or seminar with the alumnis.

NATIONAL LEVEL COMMERCE FESTIVAL , BEMUS 17 Department of Commerce of our college invites Student participants to the National Level Commerce Festival , BEMUS 17. MANUS-2016, a National level Management & Cultural Fest is going to be organised at the Andhra Loyola College, Vijayawada, AP, 520008 on 8th & 9th of February. Our event is aimed at bringing out the hidden potentials of Management & Commerce students (BBA, BBM, B.Com & MBA) and also to promote awareness about the need to develop enriching institution-industry relationship. We chose "Rise of Startups" as the theme of our event in relation to our Hon'ble P.M Shri Narendra Modi's statement "Startup India Stand up India" and taglined our event “INNOVATION, INITIATION, and IMPLEMENTATION”.

Placement Experience

Placement is a very big deal in ALC, every maximum number of students are selected in higher companies in good condition and with remuneration tooo. So many companies will come to take a look loyola students. Good number of students got into medical/ dental admissions. Most took pharmacy in their degree and yes everyone is quite well placed in their respective. Because we have good English medium, it fares well when you get out of the college. Also many are doing great in abroad

The facilities were very experienced and had got good teaching skills. They are good in their subjects. They were very interactive and were very helpful in clarifying doubts. Faculty

Yes, as the college is the oldest and prestigious college for management in the city the teachers are highly qualified and well experienced. Standard of teaching is good, same is interaction, they do interact with students whenever needed and whenever the student is in need.

Remarks

I would say that my college life was awesome. There were ups and downs up still it was worthy spending four wonderful years in this college. Faculty, Infrastructure all were good here. The standard of the students entering college improved year by year but the placements was still not good. I would say that I definitely miss my college and my college days.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, they provided the internship in the final year but the ratio was very less. There were companies like Hero, Infosys etc that came into campus for interns. Mostly students took off campus internships for getting proper field experiences. The average stipend is about 7-8k per month but everything was depended upon the students capabilities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course emphasis is mainly theoretical. Although we have done projects completing the curriculum, the rigorous, continuous and comprehensive evaluation leaves us with very less time to involve ourselves in projects. Usually after the even semester end exams,in the months of June and July we have ample time for projects and practical learning. No, currently Research Initiatives taken by the college that I'm aware of.

Remarks

I felt I wanted to do engineering so that I could delve deep into subject and work on projects that matter and standout. This is not the case. We are left frustrated with the continuous tests and internals. Since its student life, we are carrying on with it and making adjustments. There is very little to no time available for external studies or inter disciplinary approach.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course which i had chosen was very good and it was up to my expectation, they was lot of focus on practical learning in my college, the labs were well equipped. Yes they were lot of research initiative taken for institute. Each and every branch in the college, had there own research initiative, carried on. I don't remember much about the elective option which were available. But according to my knowledge they were almost 2-3 elective for us in each semester

Internships Opportunities

Yes, college gave 100% support for internship.College acted as the medium between the companies and the students to provide an internship. The experience was very good.I did my masters project in thermal comfort and inside passenger comfort. We usually received an average stipend amount of Rs.8000-10000 monthly, stipend amount almost depends upon the company on which u r doing the internship.

Remarks

Overall learning experience was very good. The issue at my time was that the institute was very far away from the town. There was very less public convenience available. At night, safety of students especially girls was not good so we had to return to the college before dark. Rules and regulations very strict thats why the college has still maintained its reputation in the UPTU universities. I would say those college days were a great part of my life and I would never forget them.

Placement Experience

The placement was very good. Around 95% students of my batch got placed. Many got 2 or more job offer letters. 2007 was a peak time in IT sector so there was lot of demand of engineers. The companies that visited the campus were Infosys, HCL, L&T, Satyam and the average package at my time was of 3-4lakh per annum(Now its around 6-7lakh). Although CS/IT students had an upper hand in placements as compared to Electrical students but still they also well placed.

Placement Experience

Placement is good enough for software engineers over here. But for core field like mechanical and electrical engineers companies it's very hard to get placed. We need more core companies to visit our college. TCS, Infosys, Bosch, mind tree, Accenture, etc placement percent in our college is 20-30percent.

College Events

Tatav is one of such event organization by our own students. In which most of the technical events are held. But infrastructure is so bad that we have to adjust everything. We can't play football or cricket over here. Fest was organized good enough and faculty was also involved in some of the things.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very well designed. It was designed in such a way, that all our core subjects get completed by 5th semester. So that we can go for a 6 month compulsory internship in our 6th semester. Core subjects are introduced in first semester itself, so that they can be completed by the 5th semester. So, there is a lot of chance that one gets a PPO ( pre placement offer) after the completion of the internship only. So, you may have a job letter in your hand before even starting your 4th year.

Campus Life

Simply Brilliant. PEC has a very very strong base in extracurriculars. PEC's athletic team was declared the Overall best Contingent at Inter-Technology Athletics meet held at Thapar University 2017 among various reputed colleges like, NIT KKR, NIT JALANDHAR and NIT HAMIRPUR etc. PEC's Dramatics team and Bhangra tea have secured the First position in their respective events held at MOOD-Indigo, IIT Bombay's Cultural Fest.( Biggest cultural fest of Asia)

Course Curriculum Overview

The course I chose was really good but difficult to express. There is maximum practical learning only. No research initiatives are taken by our institute. But they conduct many trips too industries. This would be very much helpful to mechanical students as we need more exposure on the machines in industries. We get a chance to learn some other courses also along with core courses. Many workshops are held to create an awareness on these courses

Faculty

My faculty are from most reputed colleges in India .The faculty in our college has years of experience in teaching and many of them are involved in some type of research. They are interactive but basically they don't get the time to interact with all the students. There is no need to worry abut the standard of teaching as this is an NIT and the faculty are highly qualified.

Placement Experience

We have very good placement, I suppose almost 75% students get placed. Highest package till date is 35 lakhs. And the average package is around 5-5 lakhs per anum. Major companies that visit us for campus interviews are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Persistent, Cognizant.

College Events

Gandharva, Perception are our college cultural and technical events. Average footfall must be around 5-8k. Organisation is really good. We students organise it faculties help us guide us. Even we go out for sponsors and even our college helps us financially.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very efficient in LPU. The course details like the syllabus , the references and etc are given to the students at the beginning of every semester. So it becomes easy for the students to get ready for the semester. There are continuous assessments so you need not study that hard on the day of exam. We will be evaluated continuously.

Exam Structure

The exams in my college don't create a stressful burden on students here. The class assessments carry 25 percent of the weight age. The midsem carries another 25% of weight age and the end sem constitutes another 50 %. The students can easily score in mid sem and the class assessments as they consist of objective type questions.

Fees and Financial Aid

Ya it provides scholarship but i never went behind it, there was a reason behind not going into scholarship, the students getting scholarship was limited and i knew i can afford it but many students actually can't afford it so we some friends decided to let it be for needed guys.

Course Curriculum Overview

For me that is the best course for me and our College was also best in commerce department as there was best teachers, best environment. Doing practical is something which i liked the most. There was a subject fully including research program so we were much into it.

As it was an Eamcet college we need to Write Telengana Eamcet examination to get admission into CVR college. My state rank in Eamcet was 17,000. So I got Civil Engineering course. we need attend the counseling session conducted by Telangana board in order to confirm our seat in the college. There are 15% seats under management quota where students can apply through their JEE Rank.

Fee here in CVR is not too high and less when compared to other private colleges.fee is affordable to everyone. The course fee is 90,000 per annum. Students will get the scholarship of 36000 and it is being paid by State Government of Telangana. if you get admission under management quota you don't get any scholarships.

The students need to appear for Jee advanced exam and apply for the counselling. I wrote the Jee mains exam and got qualified for Jee Advanced exam. Then after the result declaration i applied for JoSAA counselling. My dream was to join engineering in any of the reputed IIt's. Based on my rank i got a seat in IIT kharagpur.

Faculty

The faculty of my institute were highly qualified and have a great experience in teaching field. Their standards of teaching is too good . They mainly focus on the conceptualization of the topics. Many of the faculty were involved in research works and are always busy. So the interaction is less.
