Too many exams lined up back to back. It's not a problem when the syllabus is divided in small portions. Infact that helps a student to be updated with the portion. But it's frustrating when for 15 marks, one has to study 4 chapters. It's absolutely illogical. lab exams do not inculcate any practical knowledge and are just a burden.
Technical and cultural events happen throughout the year an are pretty good. Sattva is the college's cultural annual festival. A technical annual fest called Taqneeq is also organised every year. They are pretty grand and go on for about 3 days. Many great events are organised during these festivals.

The college provides an internship for all the students. The students learned how the work is carried out in companies. They learned company ethics, how to work in a company, perseverance and many things. The experience was awesome. Students learned new things. Average stipend provided was around 4000
The exam required for admissions was CET. My score was good enough and so I tried for this college. There were no interviews and I checked the qualifications of the staff and the infrastructure of the college which made me choose this college. My interest in computers and software made me choose this course.

5 lacs 56 thousand its the fee of our University. Its a nominal fee that moslty people are afford. as we go though another the University they have a very high fee structure .but in chandigarh University its the best.
Blessed to be studying here. An opportunity to learn and understand things of great importance to us. My classmates are very caring, which is very important for me, since I am Brain Tumor Survivor. Teacher's, though not all, are very correct in their approach. Feel blessed to be here.
I had actually joined to SJCE College, Mysore. But had to leave that within a month cause I got Brain Tumor. After my treatment, I had got few targets in my life. And hence actually had to be here in my hometown. So joined this course which interests me a lot

Our college dont involve actively in placements scnerio and also very less companies visits our college , the companies visited our colllege was WIPRO , TCS , DELL , TECH MAHENDRA ect...though companies visits our college they only take few students and only 40-50% students are placed during campus placements. our seniors got average package of around 3.2-3.5 lpa.
There are scholarship plans in our college to the needy students in the sense , if the students year income was below 100000/- the government provides fees reimbursement to these students , also loan is not required because the fees is very low and there are many scholarships , in this situation no student ought to take loan or require loan.

All the faculty members are well qualified. There are 8 faculty members having a PhD degree. 16 teachers are pursuing there PhD. Remaining have completed Masters. All are having a minimum teaching experience of 2 years. Everyone is very kind and polite and are always ready to help the students. The teaching is interactive. Students are shown PPTs and videos. There is a flip classroom so that students improve themselves and help them to lose stage fear and teach the students.
I appeared for the JEE exam. For admissions at our time the composite score of the JEE and the board exam was calculated and the college was allotted accordingly. There were no interviews. I had decided to choose mechanical engineering since I was in 7th standard because of my interest in machines.

I feel that this college gives me what I want. IOT is one of the major elective in fourth year so this suits me best. Not much reach is done by the college but it's sure that they give a lot of practical knowledge rather theory. It's good that lectures are friendly enough to respect our views.
Few lecturers are bad at expressing but it's quite fine though. The faculty on an overall basis is good. They do try to improve the academics of the student. Practical knowledge is given more importance which is plus point of the college!

The Dayananda Sagar college has one of the best campus compared to other engineering colleges in Bangalore. The auditorium is very nice it can accommodate up to 1000 students and many cultural events other than college are also conducted here as it is one of the best auditorium It was Accredited with A grade recently approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Govt. of India and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University.
I wrote KCET and got entrance to this institution. There was no such process as interview to get into this college. The entrance was based on the KCET ranking.I am studying Information Science Engineering (ISE) ,I chose this branch as most of the company are recruiting people based on programming skills and ISE is an programming based branch

The college is awesome, with well experienced faculties, interactive sessions, hands on activities ,practical learning time to time cultural fests so that students can show their talents,Placement scenario is also pretty good, internship opportunities are also provided to students ,so the overall performance of the college is very good.It is a constituent women's college of Delhi University, the college is having well experienced faculties, time to time cultural activities so that students could explore their talents also the college one of the most prestigious colleges of India in field social sciences, humanities and arts..
The course curriculum provided by college is very good, classroom becomes pretty enjoyable as faculties always prefer interactive learning in classroom also more focus is given on practical learning and hands on activities ,the college had also taken many research initiatives in past also it's focusing on many research initiative in future.

Jmc is one of the main fests' hub of the south campus. We recently hosted a Diwali Mela called SPARSH. where students of all colleges could come and many set up their stalls too. At least more than thousand students took part and the organization was impeccable as the college had assigned girls to keep a proper check on the decorum of the function and security of the college was also pretty tight.
The course includes Algebra and Calculus in the first semester and real analysis will be introduced later. We have our practical classes at least twice a week. There is a separate wing in college which takes care of researches by students and teachers across all streams. I have taken commerce as my elective subject.

I have joined in this college by writing the sathyabama entrance exam in 2015 after immediately completing my intermediate and i joined in this college through counselling and management quota seats will also be available for those who has not written or not scored good marks in entrance.I am very interested in logical thinking and mathematics so i have joined in the cse department.
The placement training will be given to the students from 3rd year on wards they will provide training both in technical wise and also nontechnical. every year 85% students get placed and the average salary package is 3,50000 per annum and the companies that visit our campus are tcs, wipro, cognizant etc.

I wrote the entrance exam organised by Banaras hindu university, total 30,000 students appeared that year for the entrance and there is total 230 seats in B.com cutoff was around 270 marks, when i was selected in the first round, than merit list is prepared i was called for a formal interview and then i completed the admission procedure.I am interested in commerce so i took up the course as i want to make career in this field...
The overall performance of university is good, with well experienced faculties, focus on interactive learning, hands on activity, practical learning etc. ,the environment of Varanasi is also good, however the placement cell should focus more on placements,so that students could get placed easily in the upcoming years.the university is of national level importance ,interactive studies are promoted for students.

We celebrate many events as compared to other colleges, this year we had a technical fest, that was the best experience I had in my college, many students from other college took part in our fest, there are authorities in our college which are designed to conduct these kind of events, the organisation was good.
Placements in our college is worried one because there will be only few placements opportunities in our college .the number of companies visited our college also very less like TCS , tech Mahindra , Wipro etc.. The average package for our seniors was 3 lakshs per annum

This is my first year so I haven't come across even one. But i have heard that fests are held in january and they are really famous, celebrities visiting our campus and overall its fun
There has been no interaction with the alumni. One of the alumni came to college but no such interaction happened. I hope the college will provide platform regarding the above.

Compulsory internship. I would tell you how if I ever had the opportunity to talk to an intern (we barely see them free). Stipend, after reducing the required amount for charity and hostel fees, is approx 2K per month for a year.
A fest every year. It's a pretty big event, organised by Student Council. Pretty great, you should come and see. We other minor ones through the year like camps and fund raisers and what not. Pretty active in this case.
fees was 75000 per year, yes it was affordable because dad works in central govt, and it was easy to cope up with amount. extra fees had to pay if any new software are brought to the lab for the performing experiment and knowledge about it. Other people had to pay more who are out of state people such as north indian students.
faculties are good but faculties who are locals speaks kannada much which i don't like, yes quality of teaching is good only , but students don't give much importance to teacher so lack of communication and interaction in our class. few teacher are very strict in which we use to attend only that particular class.

we have placements in the final semester of the course, since i don't know abot placements. but seniors says placements go very well. and many number of students bags the jobs.major companies such as wipro , intel, oracle , hp, accenture , and few it sector jobs. the packages depends upon the job baged by the student.
fees was very high fairly speaking , i had to pay 1 lakh 30 thousand per year.any other charges of colleges such as library fees we had to pay 1000 to access per sem and also they put fine if its due date is crossed by one day. since my mom is teacher it was affordable from her earning.

The college nurtures individuals both holistically and technically. The college is pretty strict on rules established and actions do come behind u if you are found violating them.Though the management is very strict in academic terms the college has provides good corporate exposure to students as well as every day some event is happening around the college campus to help u kill time.
Course is good but quite hectic. Practical learning is ppt demonstration and presentation by students as well as weekly corporate interfaces are conducted to keep the students updated
Currently, I am very pleased to know that I have taken up and yes it is paying me very well. Although less focus is being imparted on practical works, the subjects help me build my career as they are believed to be the most successful fields of study in the future. Yes research initiatives are being taken by the institution and several project expos are being conducted. National level paper publication competition is also conducted. Although there is a provision to choose an elective subject of my interest, ultimately the department decides a single subject for all the students in the class even though they don't want/wish to study that subject.
College gave me a bunch of good friends along with whom I trip, treck and party alot. The overall experience in the college is I have never shredded so much sweat until I got admitted in this institution and sometimes I feel that it's because of this college I learnt about the hardships of life and responsibilities as an individual.
