All the IITs have a lot of events over the year 1) Spring Fest- This is Indias one of the largest cultural fest which happens in the month of January huge number of student from all over india come to our campus to participate and enjoy the 4 days of fest.2)Kshitij (or KTJ)-this is Indias largest techno managemant fest which also happens in month of January. It involves record participation from all over the country every year in field of robotix,data analysis and several other eventsApart from Spring fest and KTJ we have large number of other fest like Global Entrepreneurship Summit(BY E-cell) and BITWISE (by department of CSE) Mechanica(mechanical enginnering) ,petrofesta(by department of mining engineering) each of them involving active participation from huge number of students.

Once the result were out, the counselling process started.It was a total online process we had to fill our choices on the websites of JEE. We filled our choices in sequential manner.Like I filled Computer science first then I chose maths and computing which I got eventually. Once our choices were locked we had to report to our respective zone(mine was IIT Bombay).There we had some formalities and we were all set for admission in our IITs .We had to undergo all the mentioned medical test which was required by IIT kgp.Then when we came here we submitted our form and our room was allocated in the respective Hall of residence .We got ourself registered for the semester and then the classes began.

Our college faculty was well educated And well experienced, some of them have vast experience from the industry and other have good conceptual knowledge of their subjects. We used to taught foreign languages also and that depends upon the choice of the majority of students of language.

When the ranks were declared, counselling dates were provided where you have to fill your choices like which college you are interested and what branch you are interested to take.Once your choices are locked,it will go on through different phases.A total of three rounds are there for result which will show that whether your selected college are a lot to you or not. Your rank will decide whether you can get good college or not Once you get your list in any of the rounds then you have to come to any of the provided centres to submit your confirmation that you really want admission or want to wait for further upgradation (if you are selected in first two rounds). I'm a student in the college. I got though the college via CAT with a percentile of 40. I received a mail about my selection and I was asked to come to the college for the next round of selection process that is GD/PI sessions. The GD session was easy you can crack it. The interview process is even easier.

Our college has great facilities in the form of Labs, Instruments, WiFi, Library, etc. The College has a good cafeteria which is the place to be during the breaks. You get a lot of different types of foods. All facility is available.

in this college, there are many fest is organized. I have written about the major fest - Technosearch is the annual technical festival of NIT-BHOPAL which is held during the odd semester every year. The festival provides an opportunity to the many hundreds of aspiring young engineers to embrace success. Chimera is the Annual Students' Conclave of MANIT Bhopal which includes Talk Shows, Competitions, Social Initiatives and Pro Shows. Maffick is the Cultural Festival of NIT Bhopal, MANIT or MACT... Well, whichever you prefer, Maffick is a National Level College Cultural Festival, One of the biggest in Central India, with students from the entire nation coming in to participate and enjoy the plethora of socio cultural events and festivities. In addition to workshops, competitions, pro-nites, this year we also have the privilege of hosting the ‘Inter-NIT’ theatrical competitions as a part of our fest. We are also currently in talks with an exceedingly popular celebrity artist for the conclusive celebrity night.

The gender ratio is almost equal. We did not really have any hostel parties but all the hostel students did go out a lot. We had several workshops, seminars etc to ensure a holistic learning experience. Everyone was really really broad minded so there was no issue really regarding race, gender, ethnicity, economic status etc

None that I am aware of currently as I did not avail any scholarship or loan facility offered by my college. Also I havent heard about any such schemes or offers having been availed by any of my friends either so Im not too sure if they have such an offer going on currently.

But her dad earns more than my dad.I may agree that it is based on caste system but it should be no more applicable now. Everyone is eligible to pay equal amnt of fees. Students who are genuinely poor should be helped not the one who belongs to castes.

The campus life at college is awesome. We make new friends and they are friends fro life. We lean to cooperate, to help, to devote, to concur opinions, and to be a good person in our lives.The college is co-ed and approx equal ratio of boys and girls study there.They all study, pay and take part in cultural actives during their tenure at college.The debates ad various compositions like.. fancy dress, poetry, group discussion, dance, quizzes are regularly organised and a number of participants join the events, Overall,, the atmosphere helps one to grow healthy in its life.

Celebrations in JIMS is a culture. Whether it is our festivals suchs as Holi, Diwali, Christmas or the national joys.. Independence Day, Republic Day, Hindi Diwas etc. Every year JIMS organizes an annual Fest where all the students and their families are invited, Students take part in dance, singing and various games are played there. Apart from this an ALUMNI Meet is also organised by the college, where old students comes and share their experiences at college, their present life and job.

I applied for this college and got an admission out of merit category and before joining there was an entrance examination that had been conducted then based upon that score we can select B.Pharm in the year 2011 and i finished my course by 2015 May and I am continuing my M.Pharmacy in the same college for M.Pharm also there is an entrance exam and i got through it.

There is very stringent process for selection of faculty. All faculty staff were well educated and experience. They always encourage student to do best for carrier as well as society. There was a enough faculty member for different subject. They were honest and polite in their profession.

all the faculty member are highly qualified rather than that they are very friendly and have a fundamental knowledge to clear the doubts of the student. as it is an autonomous body it has its own syllabus and exam pattern all the syllabus are equivalent to IIT level .so a bit difficulty is their for the student but the faculty member are their to solve the problmaes.

as it has not closed campus it a bit difficult for us.There are a lot of clubs here to join around 20 clubs are here. I have joined the robotics which is good and also related to my Branch subject but there are dance, song, poem, byk ride, games like badminton, cricket, volley, basketball everything is there so any one can enjoy here without any hesitation.

Yes, placement facility is available for all students. For over a decade, university has been conducting placement programs at our campuses in Kanpur and Ghaziabad with successful job placement for all our students. With sufficient practical experience and teaching based on latest curriculum, our students are well equipped to be a success for the organization.

There were 3 key events that happened in college. Once was the placement week during which many companies used to come and give their pre-placement talk and then there were either exams or Personal interviews for selection of candidates.Second was the Alumni meet called Paradigm. We invited the alumni from various parts of the country and they used to hold talks and share experiences with the batch. This was followed by a gala dinner.Lastly, was the college fest, where students from other colleges used to come and participate in many business events and competition.

The Exams were only twice a year with very few weekly tests or case studies. Hence, the time spent was largely relaxed. It would have been much better if there was a little more stress and hectic schedule.The classes were packed from 10am - 5pm. However, many times professors did not come and this resulted in us either going to the library or doing some placement related work. The industry based learning/ seminars were very infrequent and can definitely be increased.

I can write a long description for this one. But I will try to keep it short. The gender ratio is generally good. But then it changes according to the branch that you refer to. On the whole it is good. Student parties, yes we used to party a lot in the later years, but nothing inside campus, it would mostly be outside campus. Cultural and student diversity is something I loved about my college and is definitely a strong point. Tolerance overall is actually very gud, yes sometimes we had clashes among gangs from different cultural background. But that was not that often. The economic status of 80% of the students is good. They are mostly well to do. Religious conflicts have never occurred to my knowledge. Politics yes sometimes you feel it in terms of marks and grades (favouritism). But that's case specific.

The curriculum on the whole is very well planned out. But on the whole I would say it depends on the student on how he makes the best of it. First year everyone had the same set of subjects. Then from second year, the branch specific electives came into the picture. Initially they give gud importance to the fundamentals to set a strong foundation. Then from third next year the latest industry ready electives are introduced. Overall it was an efficient planning. But as I earlier said, it depends on the individual on how dedicated he is to learn/grasp the subjects.

Campus life was full of energy. Many cafeteria and food stalls are open and provide cheap and hygienic food to the students, Hostel life is excellent with 24 X 7 internet facilities, state of the art lab, lots of extracuriculur activities like soccer, cricket, tennis

i have given CET to get admission in this college and Government Job options and also opportunity for higher studies both in India and abroad is more than other science courses. I scored 90.88% and it is oldest and most prestigious

Cultural event is the major attraction called GANDHAAR. it lasts for almost 4-5 days. Rest of the days are intracollege days and the final last day is inter college day on which students from all colleges come and participate. That is the most enjoyable day there. Other than that also there are many events. Infact better to say each and every festival is celebrated in a grand way there.

The faculties are over all great.some are irritating for sure but all what they want is your attendance and good results.rest there is hardly any reason for which the faculty and you would have a tensed situation amongst you. Almost all the departments have great and experienced teachers.you just need to attend the lectures nicely and you are 70-80% prepared for your exams.
