Both these were managed by the college and are given to you based on your academic record and the list of preferences that you have provided. Summer internship are usually unpaid, but the one ins final year can get you as much as 40-50k a month of stipend.

Majorly there were two events that were popular at BITS. The cultural festival called Oasis was indeed an Oasis for all the hard working students stranded at Desert Pilani. Campus looked completely different in those days with a lot of out station participation from colleges all over the country. The tech fest called APOGEE was also of top quality.

Excellent, All faculty members were well educated and they tried their best to provide us whatever cooperation we required. Even in case of doubts, they used to give their full support in making us enable to understand the same. Even during debates and seminars, they used to pick us up and told to put our views so that every student was able to speak comfortably without any hesitation.

Apart from final exams, unit tests were also held in which students need to score good marks as a part of such marks were also added in final reports. During examination, two or three faculty members used to present in the examination hall making cheating almost impossible. Moreover faculty used to motivate us by saying don't let others get the benefits of your efforts.

Faculty is highly qualified, very well educated and well behaved. With teachers receiving accolades from a variety of industries and domains, they keep the syllabus in mind and introduce students with the concepts in a friendly, yet well paced approach. The senior staff is amazing at handling students of this age group. The new staff still seems to be struggling with keep a good repo with students.

University Pattern is followed as per semester. Nothing very different in that. Usually the college starts from 1st July for the Odd term and 1st January for the even term. Practical and Oral Exams are conducted by External examiners and are considered as important as the university exams. Also the institute conducts unit tests to keep students in sync with the syllabus covered by the timeline.

College faculty was decent and there were some visiting faculties from IIMs as well. However, in some of the subjects, the faculties were not as per standard, but overall it was not bad either. Marketing was one of the strong subjects in IBS-B due to its faculties and visiting faculties. There were mixed range of faculties available with qualifications such as Ph.D/M.Phil/BA/MA/BE/PGDM (IIM)/FICWA/LLB.

Being in management institute itself opens door for many cultural and management fests within college or outside. Here in IBS B, the following were the major events where I always had taken part actively in almost all of them. They might not be of big scale, but there used to be one event which was Inter College Management Fest where all other colleges used to join in.

To score marks in such course structure was really very difficult. Each paper consist of 100 marks out of which 70 marks related to final exams and the remaining 30 marks related to internal participation of students in all the activities which includes presentation, seminar, attendance, cultural activities, debates etc.

No such examination was required to give. Admissions were given on the basis of pass percentage of 10th exam which I procured 60% above.. So just needed to fill form and the main journey began after entrance to the college. Entrance was quite easy but exit i.e. to procure good marks in the final year was very difficult.

I had no plans of opting this college and doing BCA but later on due to personal reasons i had to compromise and opt for the same course. The college was good as a pass out of the college was a family friend and my family didn't wanted me to go far colleges and away from home. So, i opted this college. The admission process was not so difficult just had to submit documents and amount initial for the admission.

The college was very new as it had just 1 batch before us pursuing course so there was no difficulty in admission and the teachers described well about the faculty and college process which was much good while hearing. They gave the prospectus of the college and told fee structure. We had to come and submit documents and fee. Then the process was done. They communicated well while admission and were friendly.

I participate in University entrance exam and qualified with overall 3rd rank and get admission, B.Ed. faculty is good not say perfect but classes run on time, no teacher miss any class, proper classes done also smart classes run in University with use of projector TV monitor smart class board, fully AC classroom also, this is the plus point.

My course fee for 1st year is Rs. 4000 for reserved category and Rs. 14000+1000 (1st and 2nd sem.) for general category and in 2nd year is Rs. 3300 for reserved category and Rs. total both sem. 24000 for general category. fee is not to much high as compare to state universities also provide better facilities and infrastructure.

We had a cultural festival that happened every year with the name "Mystico". Apart from that we had inauguration function organised by the management for the freshers and the department wise farewell organised by the respective department students. Technical symposiums conducted by the computer science department.

As i mentioned earlier we does not have any campus interview but we had campus cell which provides us some off-campus job interviews . In that off-campus companies like wipro, Infosys and many other companies came for the candidate selection. They offered minimum 2.4 lakhs package for selected candidates.

After the result of PGCET entrance examination immediately I Seen I have selected to this college as I gave 1st preference for this college only. I entered to college first time all instruction they said and told to fill the firm and took necessary documents like marks card, income certificate, etc. After the admission we need to meet HOD for better instructions and also orientation was there immediately after 2 days of admission.

The college faculty is really good and they all experienced! Some faculty we will get for limited period of time as 1 faculty comes from Singapore and teaches for 1 month of time and another Tata CEO won also comes for 1 month of time and they teach not for mpnry , they teach for there profession and faculty treats students really well and also personal development also they take.

The college's permanent faculty is mostly well qualified, with almost all faculty being either a doctorate or pursuing their PhD. Few of the faculty on contract basis are only Postgraduates. The courses are aligned with the faculty specialisations, so most of them are interested in teaching. However, number of lectures actually taken in semester are lower than the minimum requirement.

The Metallurgical Engineering and Material Science course structure at MANIT is more industry oriented, rather than being focused upon research. Most courses are outdated, and the electives are dependent upon faculty availability rather than by student's choice. Electives offered are Metal Forming Techniques, Physics of Materials, Entrepreneurship Development, Composite Materials etc.

I had given IIT JEE in 2015 in which i scored 226 marks and got AIR 3200. With this rank in IIT JEE, i had many options to opt for, but at that time i don't know much about branches. So, i preferred to talk to seniors and my coaching teacher's to gain knowledge about the branches which are open for me in the last year that is in 2015 because the closing rank of the branches doesn't change much in one year.

When I come into the IIT my expectation of the faculty was much high, but many of them are not up to that mark. No doubt, all are highly educated but only education doesn't matter, they should also have the quality or they know how to transfer or share their knowledge and experiences to the students. I don't why some professors lack this quality or this happens just because they did not show much interest.

The institute provides the best and most experienced faculty for the respected courses. The student, teacher ratio is also good. The faculty have both practical and theoretical knowledge. They encourage and motivates students apart from studies. They create the good atmosphere in class which makes it easy for students to learn.

I got a handsome merit as 202 and was getting many reputed collage like REC Bhopal, REC Jaipur and NIT Allahabad, But not getting good branches. So got EC branch here easily. The electronics and communication branch was not on top that time as market was booming for IT branch. The information technology branch getting top rankers that time.

For faculty I must say is awesome. Teachers are too much into welfare of students. They love us and love there jobs. Teachers teaches very well and also use different type of teaching like PPT, GDs etc. Also assignments, worksheets circulated among us, so that we get a clarity of concept. Apart from studies, teachers are also there for extra curricular activities, they emphasis on these too.

Placement and job opportunities are given to us. Proper procedure is there. Proper notice is placed on bulletin board and messages are circulated among students. Proper guidance is given to the students. Many good companies like KPMG, URBAM CLAP, NIIT, GENPECT etc. Around 200-300 students placed. Average package offered is 5-6 lac. per annum.

Only Top Engineering students get to sit in Good companies. Yes true people who have less than 75+ in Engineering 10th and 12th wont have any placements given ( if at all they get - they will get Technical support ( call center ) N+ A+ jobs. I am disappointed with this because they charge high donations and cant maintain a strong placement cell.

Great and supportive though they have less knowledge on books but they are friendly. We have strong teachers for Mathematics for sure but we have very less "Experienced" Faculty for Technical courses related to computers. ( teachers need to be updated on latest s/w and teach students on various industry aspects)

Primarily the largest event is the tech fests that happened at each university. We participated in ours and other engineering universities as well. It's a good amalgam of subjects and we get to present our ideas and inventions to the crowd. Cultural days are celebrated (traditional day, color day where you wear specific color clothes, Diwali, holi etc) with a fair bit of gusto and classes are kept on hold for those days.

Exams happen at their regular six month cycle. Labs were not often during the first two years by the remainder two years, lab projects happened each week for 2 hours. There were lab examinations as well. However there were no internal exams or prelims in the class. The lecturers would verbally quiz sometimes, randomly picking students to reiterate points from the previous lecture.

Hostel fee is more than Rs 75000 per annum. Food quality of hostel is very poor. If you complain about food they will reply you that your hostel fee is not including foodings. Many students use to go canteen for food. Infrastructure structure is very good but one have to pay a large amount of money for using that under strict rules. Bus facility is provided by college but at the rate of Rs 24000 per annum even.

The annual college fees is Rs. 1,14,000. The annual hostel fees is Rs. 70,000. No scholarship options are available here except the Government one. Few students get scholarship through government scholarship policy and it might be 20-22 students every year. Loans are needed but the procedure in the banks is not easy.

In Mumbai University bi semester per year pattern is followed. The entire course is 4 years that comes to 8 semesters. Each semester has 5-6 subjects, the first year and final year exam papers are evaluated by the external examiners in the University, the second and third year papers and evaluated internally with external moderation. Third and fourth year students have take VIVA examination, which are scored by external examiners. Apart from all this there are practical examinations, internal examinations, and regular assignments which contribute to the final score. The final year students have to submit a Project published in group which has is again scored.

The campus life I experienced was the best time of my life, with good friends, supportive teaching faculty, excellent library. Student dorm parties inside the college premises was not permitted, however there are a lot of activities outside the college which could provide the required distractions from the stressful life in an engineering course. We had a students hailing from the extreme north in Jammu to the extreme south, we also had few students from overseas as well.

The objectives of this Course is to upgrade the technical skills of Senior Accounts Officers/ Accounts Officers/Assistant Accounts Officers in the areas of Accounting, Internal Audit, Information Technology and enhance general managerial ability, enable them to apply the above in their spheres of work; and to Improve their soft skills such as communication, presentation and ability to work in groups.The duration of the Course is one year. The Course usually starts in the last week of May/ first week of June. and concludes by the end of April/May of the next year.

The Course curriculum also includes one week foreign exposure to a neighbouring country. The international attachment of the participants of this group was organised at ‘Universiti Utara Malaysia, Kedah, Malaysia’.

Evaluation is done on the basis of performance in Continuous Assessment and Term End Examinations(as per the extant examination rules). students are evaluated on the basis of the credits they have achieved by giving many test under the programme.
