As i preferred Engineering as my career path, i have chosen MPC in Intermediate, on taking EAMCET (Engineering Entrance Exam), i have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch which drove me to select a college only in Top 10 Colleges. As Expected, on my Rank, i have selected Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology college as the Best one.

I have completed my engineering in Electronics and Communication branch. Curriculum structure was good with the periodical labs for all the required subjects. Encouragement given to the students in coming up with the new thoughts is also admirable. Interactive sessions in the labs and in understanding the process without going blindly is also appreciative.

Well The admission process has changed after our batch but during our batch we wrote TNPCEE entrance exam to get admission in Engg colleges across Tamilnadu . There was a confusion whether to admit the TNPCEE marks during counselling at that particular year and finally it was admitted. Thus weight age was given to both HSC marks of main streams and Entrance mark.

Fees are the cheapest as only students with good ranking can get into the college. This is a govt aided college thus half of the fee is paid by the govt , infact other castes like BC, MBC, SC.ST get the scholarship too. Considering the fee SC ST students would get more scholarship than the fee they have actually paid.

It is too hectic schedule. Overall 8 sem exam you have to give. Then per sem 3 minor test held. After that their is lab exam also. Behaviour exam . Environmental exam . Human value exam was also their. Other than that drawing exam was also them 8 sem 5 subject. Odd sem was the toughest you have to wake up early and give exam.

Mainly companies come to our college is tcs, infosys, accenture for software. For mechanical lohia , mssl , piaggio, force . Civil l&t , simplex,a2z, era infrastructure. All these companies. Some times u need to go college or outside training and placement department help in the same.

I am not quit satisfied with faculty too. But it is the condition with all private UPTU colleges. They themselves seems to confused in their own concepts. If you have a practice of self study, If you can go to library and can study by yourself , then it will be fine for you. Although there are some good teachers too but overall I will rate faculty of RKGIT as below average.

If you don't have good communication skills ,you are not studios, you do not have talent, Please do not opt for this college. I titled my review as extraordinary students because, Most of my batch-mates including were not offered on-campus placement opportunities(They do not call much companies) but today almost all of us are working in reputed MNC's.

College events are good. The events are various types, quiz, debate, Eng easy etc various types of sports like cricket, football, volleyball. If you have own any prize it will given in College annual function.

College conduct a good exam. It will separate by 4th semester. Semester 1/2/3/4.Each semester have 700 marks. In exam there are 2 days difference in exam. Well strict exam.over all good exam experience.

The admission process was to appear in the CUSAT exam. Then after getting the result we have to attend the counselling held at Cochin.In the counselling students are given branches according to the rank they have got in the examination. Then after the counselling the seat will be confirmed.

I got admission from PET counselling. I prepared for this exam from 12th class study. Then after 12th class over I attempt for this exam and got a score as much that I can enter into this college. After Entrance, I just have to submit copied of 10th, 12th Mark-sheet.

There are many courses available or I can say different branches where available like EC, CS , IT, Mechanical, etc. The course curriculum is properly described and not on heavy load. A student can fetch it easily. Study materials are also been provided from library.

All is super balanced gender ratio is too good. No partiality at all workshops are held on regular basis. There many events in our college such as sports event co curricular events any many more. Our college gas all possible facilities...ganesh utsav is one of the main event in our college annual function is also held in our college. Each student gets an opportunity to participate in college activities and function.

It is very good we got lot of exposure to lot of metallurgical industries during the course curriculum, particularly for metallurgy we had lot of scope,we had done our project in well known govt research organisations like MIDHANI,DMRL etc. We had done our internal projects. Our college is well equipped of good metallurgical testing machines.

The events like Nirvahana, Advanced metallurgical and research seminars, Technical fests etc are conducted we enjoyed a lot and got exposure to all these activities and learned new things. Nirvahana is our college fest which is conducted every year in that we will cover all technical as well as extra circular and social aspects as well.

PESIT-BSC is having good reputation because of Faculty, Placements and discipline. All the lectures in all departments are professional and well qualified. Faculties will be assigned to the subjects based on the interest of faculty where he/she did his specialisation. In Information science Department we had a good number of faculty with good subject knowledge .

In our college their is no facility to do internship as few colleges does but PESIT-B.Sc have a student program where top 5 students from Computer and information students will be sent to student exchange program to Switzerland for a month to do intern/project .This makes those students to explore more about the subject .

Exam structure is same as other colleges of Mumbai university. I mean as this college is affiliated to Mumbai university it goes with university structure. Exams of fist and last year are conducted by university. There are two unit test per semester. Papers are very strictly checked in this college.

Yes there is a scholarship for SC and ST students. There is scholarship for women as well. And the students who are representing college in big fest such as IIT techfest. They also have scholarship. There is loan facilities also available for EBC ( economically backward classes).

The course structure is well focused. The college complies with curriculum of Savitribai Phule Pune University which is approved by the AICTE. FE consists of all the basic subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Engineering Graphics and Engineering Mechanics which gives the base knowledge for the core Mechanical subjects. SE consists of subjected like Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Advanced Thermodynamics, Theory of Machines I, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Processes which are core Mechanical subjects. TE consists of Machine Design I and II, Theory of Machines II, and specialized application subjects like Turbo machinery, Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Heat Transfer, Metrology and Quality Control etc.

The admission process is quite well managed. I got the CAP Application Kit from one of the ARc centres and filled the CAP from online which included the details of my diploma and other personal details. After 2 weeks the merit list got displayed. 4 days after the merit list for displayed I filled the option form for applying the course of Mechanical Engineering and priority of the colleges. I got allotted this college through CAP (Centralised Admission Process) process on 24th August 2014 in the Round I itself. It was followed by approaching college and submitting the allotment letter from CAP process and other documents. When everything was verified, the final thing left was paying the fees.

University syllabus will planned according to the industry exceptions. 2 years course, 1st year 6 subjects having 100 each and 2nd having project. In first year touches the all area of core department subjects. Which mainly focus on the advanced development of formulation which help in research development and pharmaceutics will teach the guidelines.

Campus life is very good with very good environment. The gender ratio is like men : female is 60:40. The extracurricular actives will be planned as per department wise. Form the industry mangers will come to give current updated and practices in industry who we need to tuned.

I had applied for B.Com(h) which is related to commerce so the curriculum was not based on research. But then we had good lectures.Courses syllabus are interesting and doesn't have to get so much burden during exams as there are internal tests, seminars and presentations going on every month. So, it's a practice for us where we experience and get more ideas to present in public and become more aware of preparing better presentations along with case studies. . Starting with the curriculum - the syllabus is neither too tough nor too easy.It covers all kind of papers like accounting,maths,auditing, cost,financial management,tax etc.You can gain basic knowledge of all subjects. In the final year you will have to opt for specialization-marketing,finance,banking,hr etc. Computer knowledge like tally,sql is also taught.

Admission procedure was quite simple. I checked the college's website to know about the dates when the application form would be available.after that i went to the college and took the application form after submitting the form there was a written test based on general knowledge,the results were announced within half an hour and then there was a second round which was based on academics conducted on the same day and the results were announced and then there was a final interview round conducted by the Lecturers which would decide whether the candidate would get admission or not.The results were declared after 3-4 days.It was put up on a board in the college campus and then we were suppose to pay the admission fees and all.

Once in 2 years HALCYON is conducted and gives a chance to participate in various events like there are in all the tech fests. Apart from this university sports event is hosted by this college since grounds and infrastructure is available. Apart from this cultural society of each branch was there headed by deputy HOD.

Placement was good at that time TCS came and took around 65-70 people. But for core companies it is like luck by chance. Since pool campus comes but its pretty unsure. If people are really getting a chance or mncs are called just to make numbers interns of companies visited.

Yes the college provides internship in some of the best firms in the country . Ranging from IT and Tech companies like Infosys, WIPRO, Microsoft, IBM to e-commerce firms like Flipkart. Major finance companies like Deloitte, Bajaj Finserv, E&Y, Grant Thornton recruit from the campus. General stipend depends on the company and can range from Rs.15000 to Rs.45000/- per month.

The faculty are efficient and well-versed with the latest trends and happenings in the country. Some taken personal attention into the all round development of the students.Faculty take special time out to teach the students about the content outside the curriculum and design assignments which prepare students well.

The Exam structure consists of 3 Internals for 25 marks of which best of 2 internal marks are considered for final total score. The main exam is for 100 marks which includes theory paper and practicals. 50% of the Main exam score is added to the 2 internal marks to get final score for 100 marks. The progress card consists grade point between 0-10 (not percentage or marks).

I attended K-CET entrance exam. K-CET is Karnataka-Common Entrance Exam, this exam is common for Admission to Medical and Engineering Professional Degrees and is conducted by Karnataka P U Board. Once PU Board declares 2nd PUC results and K-CET Entrance Exam Ranks.Based on Merit PU Board will Call for Counselling to allocate admission seats in opted Colleges.

Bihar national college is one of the oldest college of Bihar. Its affiliated to Patna university which is the 7th oldest university of India and also termed as Oxford of the East. I studies Bachelor in Business Administration at BN COLLEGE. I got admitted in the very first batch of BBA. Most of my friends are placed in big MNC's and many got Government job.

There is no placement and job opportunities. Students where required to apply for jobs on their own with no support from College or University. This was the worst experience of everyone. Even Bihar govt never took any interest in providing jobs to students of Patna university. Most of the students went outside Bihar and applied for jobs of their own.

After giving the utter Pradesh state entrance examination I got some decent score to get admission in the good private college but that time we didn't had that much idea to choose the college .That time my friend was perusing the same source over there and I asked to him to suggest any college so that he said that I m doing from here so you can.

I took ECE that time it had a good scope in the electronic manufacturing as well as in telecom so that we have both the choice to go in any of the field either in manufacturing or in telecom so I have taken ECE. Though it has scope in government sector in India such as in public sector or in research organisation like isro, drdo, barc etc .

Placements are one of the best things about our college. Companies like TCS, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, INDIAN NAVY and lots more regularly visit our campus during the placement season. Every year all the eligible students have atleast one job in hand, whereas 40 to 50% students have more than one job opportunities in hand. So questioning the placement in our college is not worth it.

Faculty at this college is top notch, no doubt in that. Many of the professors here have doctoral degree, and their core concepts are by far one of the best. The way faculty teaches the concept is simply awesome. You'll not have to study the book again if you are attentive in class and take regular notes. Now speaking of projects, the faculty here will help you a lot in your project works.
