Campus life is very good, as you get lot of team building opportunities. Professors help the students to choose a good career. During my batch 09-11 the ratio was 60:40. Students were from different geographical locations. (WB, Orissa, Bihar, Assam, AP, Jharkhand, Gujarat to name a few) There was space for extracurricular activities like music fest, mark fest. Lab was well equipped, had Table tennis, volleyball, badminton, gym.

The course structure was very nicely designed as the specialisation was assigned from the beginning of the course. Special emphasis was given to the new trends in Banking Insurance and Finance field. This has helped the students to learn the industry skills and latest trends in the market to have a sound understanding of the corporate by the time they graduated.

Amity has a very very hectic schedule, never leaving the students free except for Saturday Sunday. You will have atleast 10 subjects to study each semester with 2-3 labs. Students have to give assignments as it is a part of internal assessment. Also, during summer vacations, a summer internship research has to be done by every student in their choice of field and give a presentation on that.

Faculty is very supportive and always ready to help in any aspect. Teachers are usually very much skilled and professional. Almost all Phd's . They are very helpful in making understand things. Every department has that 1-2 teachers that student don't like but other than that i found faculty to be supportive.

Course curriculum is moderate in the 1st semester. Starting from 2nd semester the core economics concepts started followed by 3rd and 4th sem of specialisation. Each semester has a specialised set of Subjects. The first two semester are general accounting and managerial subjects the rest two focusing on our specialisation and post 1st year student needs to undergo a internship.

College has a handful number of experienced professes but there is still scope of large improvements, dynamic corporate leaders can be pulled in for special lectures. Maximum proffers are old aged and do not follow the current modern teaching techniques , there are certain young dynamic professors but they are just part time for few guest lectures.

After the ranks of Jee-Mains were declared ,students from Odisha who couldn't get a seat of their choice through JOSAA(Joint Seat Allocation Authority) had to enroll their names in the OJEE website. The notifications were released in the ojee website within a month of declaration of jee-main ranks. On enrollment on the website, the students were given choice-filling options wherein they had to lock their choices of institute and branch in order of preference and submit the requisite fees. Within a week students were given temporary allotments, those wanting to withdraw could do so if they were unhappy with the allotment. Later final allotments were released and students were called for verification after deposition of university registration charges. The verification involved checking of various documents which were enlisted in the OJEE brochure. On successful verification students were called for orientation and were inducted into the branches of their choice.

Enter college and freshers are scared of being bossed around by their seniors.But our college promises a fresh leaf with super supportive seniors and a no tolerance attitude towards ragging. After a month of joining college. Seniors host a freshers party where first year students get to interact with their seniors and showcase their talents. Seniors are extremely helpful(warn us against which classes to bunk and which ones not to,provide us tips for preparations in exams, help starters in coding etc. CET hosts alumni meets once every year where students get to interact with successful alumni of the college settled all across the world and take inspiration from them.

Exam structure very good,Yes the exam environment may be different across disciplines. Computing students will sit some tests in front of a computer with their fingers poised to code. A practical element will contribute to science student’s final grade. It doesn’t matter if you’re studying English, Economics, Psychology or History, every exam can be approached in much the same way with these exam writing tips.

The admission was on the basis os H.S. marks. i applied for this college and waited for there panel list. They published 3 panel lists on the asis of marks hierarchy. And I was selected from the 3rd panel list. And department s of subjects were also get on the basis of the marks contain.

Faculty were not so good. Classes were not in proper manner . Majority of faculty were not permanent teachers , even the HOD. Majority of faculty were busy on there own personal politics. we faces many inconvenience for behave of teachers. And even this thing also effects on our result.

We get a rank and then fill our priorities. It's pretty clear and transparent and well organised as well. Hence, IIT Delhi was my first priority and I got it. Based on my rank and options I filled somewhere around 15-20 choices i.e. different IIT and subjects combination. The one we get depends on the number of seats, number of students applying for it, the exam results or rather exam pattern of the year, etc.

The faculty is pretty good. It varies branch to branch. For instances it can be quantified by the scope of research they have done. Number of publications, awards etc. Some are great, but there are clashes in ideologies. They are not very open to students exposure, activities, events etc. They lack a bit energy may be coz they have been doing the same job for years hence lack of passion and enthusiasm.

By counselling process. I had fill a form which had conducted by haryana govt. And then fill my all choices after that according to my choice i had get a admission in Computer science branch. By these process i had take admission in The Technology Institute Of Textile & Science.

The campus life is excellent . All the seniors are very helpful .About Gender ratio I do not know. Sports facility also provided to student . There are modern labs for every subject even there is also lab for communication in english .Many competitions are also held in college.

I followed the usual admission process by speaking to the admission office teachers. Based on my marks I chose the course I wanted. Standard procedure was followed by submitting the documents needed. I was asked to pay the fees at the accounts office and once paid I was guaranteed my seat by the admission office and was assigned an admission number.

College celebrates various events in college. Each branch has a technical fest of its own where they provide seminars on various topics from renowned professors. Excluding this we have an intracollege fest along with an annual ethnic day. And once a year we have an intercollege techno-cultural fest called Anaadyanta.

In IITB all students are placed except those who want to go for higher studies or have some other career plans. Last year IIT has decided not to disclose the packages and other details of the placement because some students feel disappointed when they compare their packages with other students. But a brief data is published by the placement cell at the end of the session.

The entrance examination for postgraduate studies in IIT is GATE. But getting admission in IIT even after qualifying GATE is not easy. Your ranks in GATE must be less than 1000 to get admission in IIT. Those who score very (Gate score > 800) high can get admission directly in some IIT. For others, some departments take their own written exam followed by an interview.

The hosts a lot of events. It hosts a National Level Engineering Exhibition, Shrishti in which participants from all parts of the country come. The college National Level Techno-culture fest is Nakshatra. It one of the best Techno-culture fest in kerala engineering colleges. Pratitya is the inner college arts day for the college students. There is also department wise fests during every odd semester.

I got admission through KEAM entrance so all the needy documents were available in the KEAM website( like entrance rank, allotment memo,etc). Then we need our academic documents like 10th and +2 mark list. We also need community,caste and income certificate if we are eligible for any concession. Then we should having sufficient amount of passport size photos.

I have given Entrance exam of UPTU and then according to rank the date is provided from the university for filling the choice of colleges and branch. there were several centres for filling the choice of colleges. At the centre, At that time we have to carry xerox of documents along with non-refundable 5000 Rs check and one check of Rs 20000 which would be adjusted in the college fee in which you will get admission.

The Course structure is decided by university not by college so it is same for all the colleges associated with UPTU. However it was more theoretical rather than practical or research oriented. There were some subjects like Human behaviour, Industrial Sociology,Industrial Psychology which can be interested but i dint find any interesting things in the syllabus of these subjects.

All the faculties had enough experience in their own field, which help us to grasp as much knowledge as possible. Faculties also help in practical classes which give us complete idea about the subject. Specially Computer science faculties help individual which was the best part of GITA College.

All short of cultural and technical festivals were conducted.inter college robotic championship, ethical hacking seminar,computer project seminar were conducted. Apart from that annual sports and cultural programs were conducted every year. As a lead got a chance to lead technical festivals.

The SC and ST category students are sanctioned scholarships from the Deptt. of Social Welfare of their respective states. As per existing practice the SC/ST students of Maharashtra State are exempted from payment of tuition fees at the time of admission. The tuition fees of these students is credited to Institute account from the total scholarship amount received from District Social Welfare Officer, Nagpur.

VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organisations for campus recruitment of final year students. During the academic year 2015-16, more than 100 companies visited the campus. These included all the major companies like Coal India, Reliance Group, Jindal group, L & T Group, Bajaj Auto Limited, InMobi, Oracle, Amazon, Morgan Stanley, ZS Associates, NMRCL and many more.

The faculty here average, since the syllabus isn't that great so is their teaching , we have pretty uninspiring and insipid syllabus for Mechanical Engineering course, university to blame for pathetic syllabus they have prescribed for students. Hope the things will be better when government will crack a whip for quality engineering education.

The placement in campus has been decent but has been gradually declining. 2011 saw surge in placements where as good as 80% of students were placed out of which TCS itself recruited 130, India bulls 23, Siemens 3, L&T 4, HSBC 4, PSL 3 and many other major recruitment took place. All the faculty are M.TECH and Ph.d from TOP IITS and well known Universities. The faculty is very active. They teach with full enthusiasm. They adopt all the necessary techniques of study for the benefit of students. Faculty also delivers motivational lectures periodically. Faculty also support the new ideas of students and help them to achieve their goal.

The exam structure is best in this college.There are two sessional exams and one improvement (optional) and one pre university test. Enough time is provided for preparation. Adequate gap between exams are also given. Improvement exams are optional,as the name indicate it only for improving the marks.

As i preferred Engineering as my career path, i have chosen MPC in Intermediate, on taking EAMCET (Engineering Entrance Exam), i have chosen Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) branch which drove me to select a college only in Top 10 Colleges. As Expected, on my Rank, i have selected Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology college as the Best one.

I have completed my engineering in Electronics and Communication branch. Curriculum structure was good with the periodical labs for all the required subjects. Encouragement given to the students in coming up with the new thoughts is also admirable. Interactive sessions in the labs and in understanding the process without going blindly is also appreciative.

Well The admission process has changed after our batch but during our batch we wrote TNPCEE entrance exam to get admission in Engg colleges across Tamilnadu . There was a confusion whether to admit the TNPCEE marks during counselling at that particular year and finally it was admitted. Thus weight age was given to both HSC marks of main streams and Entrance mark.

Fees are the cheapest as only students with good ranking can get into the college. This is a govt aided college thus half of the fee is paid by the govt , infact other castes like BC, MBC, SC.ST get the scholarship too. Considering the fee SC ST students would get more scholarship than the fee they have actually paid.

It is too hectic schedule. Overall 8 sem exam you have to give. Then per sem 3 minor test held. After that their is lab exam also. Behaviour exam . Environmental exam . Human value exam was also their. Other than that drawing exam was also them 8 sem 5 subject. Odd sem was the toughest you have to wake up early and give exam.

Mainly companies come to our college is tcs, infosys, accenture for software. For mechanical lohia , mssl , piaggio, force . Civil l&t , simplex,a2z, era infrastructure. All these companies. Some times u need to go college or outside training and placement department help in the same.

I am not quit satisfied with faculty too. But it is the condition with all private UPTU colleges. They themselves seems to confused in their own concepts. If you have a practice of self study, If you can go to library and can study by yourself , then it will be fine for you. Although there are some good teachers too but overall I will rate faculty of RKGIT as below average.

If you don't have good communication skills ,you are not studios, you do not have talent, Please do not opt for this college. I titled my review as extraordinary students because, Most of my batch-mates including were not offered on-campus placement opportunities(They do not call much companies) but today almost all of us are working in reputed MNC's.
