BLOOD DONATION CAMP AND HEALTH CHECK UP Continuing the history of AISSMS COE of the last sixteen years, blood donation camp was held in the premises of the AISSMS College of Engineering, in association with Armed Forces Medical, Pune (AFMC) and in association the Sassoon Hospital. The blood donation camp was organized on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on Friday, 05 September by the student’s association of AISSMS COE. General Student Association Committee (GSA) organizes Health Check Camp for teaching and non-teaching staff on the occasion of Teacher’s Day. INTER-COLLEGIATE COMPETITION University of Pune, Pune City Zonal Sports committee organized various Inter- collegiate sports. Our college students participated in the events like Athletics, handball , Football , Volley ball , Table-tennis , Badminton , Kho – Kho etc.at various Inter-Collegiate, Inter-Zonal, Inter-University, State level and National level competition. Our students have earned applauds in the competitions State level and National level, University level prominent among them are Verve, Vedant, Purushottam Karandak , Firodiya Karandak , Crescendo, Milanze, Zest , Versatalia, MIT Summit, Sakal Karandak, Sarpotdar Karandak etc SHIVANJALI Every year, we organize an Annual Social Gathering and Excellence Award Ceremony “Shivanjali”. The students whose performance is excellent in various activities like academic, co-curricular, cultural and sports are awarded with trophy and certificate during the ceremony. During the function our cultural students organize the variety entertainment program. SHIVAJI TROPHY “Shivaji Trophy 2013” a State level Inter-Collegiate T 20 Cricket tournament on the occasion of Shiv Jayanti at our educational complex in Pune. ASHWAMEDH Every year, we organize an Annual Event AISSMS Ashwamedh, at our educational complex in Pune. The engineering students from all over state are invited to exhibit their talents by participating in various cultural and sports competitions, viz. Dance, Singing, Band, Photography, One- Act Play, Football, Basketball, Kabaddi, Chess, Table-Tennis etc. ENGINEERING TODAY Every year, we organize an Annual Event AISSMS Engineering Today (AISSMS ET). The engineering students from all over India are invited to exhibit their talents by participating in various competitions, viz. poster, paper, project, quiz, robotics, programming, model making, debate, design, technical meet, cultural and sports meet. In the event, 28 technical competitions are organized in collaboration with the industry, which sponsors the awards for the competitors. Some of the sponsors were: ACC, Ambuja Cement, Alfa Laval, Crompton Greaves, India Soft, MSEB, Sudarshan Chemicals, Sify, Atlanta Cooperation.

To arrange and support in placement activities for the students of the college to encourage the students of the college & members of the Association for research & development work in various fields like Engineering, Computers, Industrialization, etc. To Mentor the students of the college for higher education, development of character and being GOOD citizens. To provide Scholarships to deserving students and ex-students of the college – for the purpose of Education and Sport to encourage and guide the students of the college on self employment to become entrepreneurs. Promote the industry-institute interaction to bridge the gap between industry requirements and education offered and enhance students’ employability to encourage and support students of the college in sports, cultural and extra-curricular activities to work towards environment conservation, anti- pollution activities against air, water and sound pollution, by slide shows, street plays, demos, handbills and all possible ways of social awareness. To help victims and victim areas of Natural calamity and disasters like earth quakes, floods, storms, malnutrition, fire and violence. To arrange blood donation, eye donation, and health awareness Camps.

Since my college is in Kerala, there is never a chance of one finding lesser girls. It is always in equal ratio. But we had students from Delhi, Punjab, manipal, Mumbai, Andhra, and from all most all districts of Kerala. The cultural aspect was always taken care of. Vegetarian students had their food separately made. Also students from north India had the option to have north Indian food as a north Indian would find it difficult to have the thick rice that keralites have. We had my extra courses running along with the mainstream ones. Like the SAP, IBM special course, Photoshop etc. F or all these we had separate computer Lab. We also have a huge Library, and it has any management book that you would name. My college believe is keeping the nature safe, so one will find steps build around the trees with out hurting them in any way. There is not politics in my college though Kerala is famous of the campus politics and student unions. The fees being quite expensive one will find only 2 kind of students, either they have parents who can afford the fees, or students who are determined and have take a loan for 6,00,000. There is diversity in religion but most students are Catholics, but that does not mean that muslims and Hindus are less in number, it is just the catholics are more. I have not found any case of homosexuals in my college and I dont think the col;ege would be fine with it if they find one. And the best part, you can select your room partners.

The college Head is Mr Dee Cee Ravi, he is also the owner of DC Books. The only problem that I have found is that he is not approachable. Other than that I have got to learn a lot. Every wednesday we had a session with the mentors. That is every 5 students are allotted to a particular mentor (A teaching faculty or a senior management member) we all get to sit together and talk or hearts out about the college and any difficulties that we face. Initially it used to be boring but one we started spending time together, we knew our Mentor is like our God father and he/she will do everything possible to help us out from our troubles. (that includes everything from boyfriend issues, not liking a teacher, not raining enough, feeling bored, what will china do next, family issues, anything) in our college no one could be alone. There were so many groups and clubs and so many things happening one can not escape from not participating. If you are caught from not being a part of anything then you would be the one heading the next one.

After 12th standard,one has to appear in AIEEE exam,Post that one has to attend counselling process and opt for preferred college and course. Once the result of counselling is announced the candidate should appear in front of panel who will verify document and will do document check.After that, the fees is submitted and admission is confirmed.

The fee structure is nominal as the college is funded by state government of Haryana. The fees and the hostel fee is submitted semester wise.The mess runs on no profit and no loss principle.If we compare it with other private colleges then the fees is damn less and facilities are very high.

I didn't attend the placement drives as I wanted to go to higher studies. Many companies offered placements companies like TCS and many more offered jobs . A lot of students are placed in IT companies. companies offered around 20,000 for the fresher's and for m.tech students they offered around 25,000. Core jobs are offered mainly to IT and CSE branch students. A lot of campus drives are conducted all the 4th year students are allowed to attend the drives. Sometimes off campus drives are also got conducted.

I kept this college as my first option to get placed in the option form released by the government. After getting selected for this college , I went to college with the confirmation letter and submitted it to the administration department and filled the admission form.after a week the classes started.

As the college is a private university it charges you 1lakh 60 thousand for 1 year which is normal for B.Tech since all the colleges in india are like that ! Also have provisions for scholarships if the student has scored 85% above in there class 12th board exams the parents can also get the money financed from banks and if there is trouble in paying the college takes the fact and works best in the favor of the student! And hence if hostel and bus service are needed you need to have atleast 3 lakhs in hand for B.Tech course.

The course structure is similar to the curriculum give by UGC . And B.Tech is the best proffesional course anyone can opt! Its easy and person gains technical knowledge. If u are good at maths and had PCM in class 12th then you should go for it! Also higher studies can be done from abroad . This course just secures your future ! And perhaps in India all the parents think if the child is an engineer then its the best thing ever !

I got admission in this college because of my Elder brother ,Deepak. I love my brother very much he support me form my childhood in all field, like:- financial support, study etc.After entering& leaving college in admission time my brother scolded upon me due to my very poor rank ,I know very well I am not good in my studies that's why I got poor rank , now no matter I have to do something unique.

Male:Female (2:1) , workshop has all machine that is necessary for us, cultural society present in good condition, student diversity is perfect, no religion effect are seen here , good mentality For All religiousis shown here by all year students, I think no bad reviews is for sexual orientation, politics are seen everywhere. Race is seen and attacking potential are available.

Overall It was really a wonderful college. There are pros and cons in every institution but I feel it was good in case you are dedicated to pursue the course. The facilities available were good enough for learning. Also, the extra-curricular activities were held time to time so that no one gets bored of studies. Gender ratio was depending on the branch, like in mechanical out of 60M there were 5F only. But in CSE, 60M to 25F ratio was there.

UPTET conselling was there, where I mentioned my preferences. This college was available as per my rank and got selected accordingly. While going in the college, there was no interview process as I was selected based on examination. There was written examination, post which counselling and then according to the availability your preferred college is given to you.

I written ICET with 27000 Rank.I chosen this college as it is one of the best B-school in city and it is very near to my house as compared to other B-school. Stage 1 - CMAT/CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/SNAP & other national level entrance test, Stage 2 - Group discussion and Communication powers, Stage 3 personal Interview and Written ability test Admissions are made on the basis of scores/percentile in CMAT/CAT/MAT/ATMA/XAT/SNAP and performance in group discussion, personal interview, and Written ability test

I got seat through conveyor seat. We need to clear the ICET to eligible for Counselling for MBA collages and then after notification we need to opt our option of collages through online. for admission process the University then release the collage from which you have given your option in First phase. If you are not happy with the selection of collage you can go for second phase of counselling.

Life at campus is very happening. You get to friend with people from all over India and some foreign nationals as well. People of every race, colour, gender are equal and are treated with respect y every other person. This is what makes campus so good. Gender ratio is almost 50-50 some courses are dominated by girls and some by boys. Every college has its own music society drama society, dance societies, etc which provide extra curricular platform to students college also has Placement Cell for Recruitment of students. Entrepreneurship Cell helps young minds in developing their entrepreneur skill.

Az a member of placement Cell of my college I have exact figures (if interested I can provide you college documents of exact figure) around 234 students are placed so far and half of the third year is remaining a lot of companies are still lined up. Yes, the college offers the good internship yes it offers good side internship and offers the good company and some money for our purpose.

After clearing AIEEE had to go online selection through AIEEE. then had to physically go to college and submit required documents. The seat was occupied under my name. Then the scrutiny of the forms was done and the fees needed to be submitted to bank mentioned in their forms. The receipt challan of the payment was produced to the accounts officer where he verified the credentials.

Campus life was enjoyable it is situated in the heart of the city so students can go anywhere any time without any worry the gender ration tilted heavily towards boys the thinking was conservative as the faculties mindset was such. Also student came from every corner of the state which consists of mostly village so mindset was simple and easy going.

At the University level as well as at the school level, Corporate Relations & Placements Cell is established whose activities include engaging with the industry in the following areas: Summer & Final Placements facilitating faculty engagement with the industry on organizing conclaves, conferences, conducting extension lectures and supporting students‟ activities. Industrial visits arrangement promoting research and case study development responding to the clarion call by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, PDPU has set up an Innovation and Incubation Centre (IIC) for promoting new ideas and encouraging start-ups. The centre also encourages and promotes innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship amongst students and community. The centre has been instrumental in establishing an industry-academia relationship, by connecting budding entrepreneurs with industry experts for guidance. Apart from the above, special sessions and workshops are organized where professionals are invited to train the students for the development of soft and professional skills.

The university has well defined organizational structure for efficient implementation of strategic intent and vision and mission of the university. The Board of Governors (BOG) is the top governing body offering policy and strategy direction to the university. The chairperson of the board of governors is the President of the University. The BOG operates through the Finance Committee, Academic Council and Research Advisory Board which are headed by the Director General (DG) as Chairperson. The DG is also the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the university. The academic recommendations are initiated by the school faculty and put up to Board of Studies and then placed by the respective Faculty to be concluded appropriately by the Academic Council. The matters regarding accounts, budgeting, financing, infrastructure and so forth are taken up by the Finance Committee.

No such things are available here. And the worst thing is that many such info are not circulated .And a few people they pay bribe and get automatically selected for a few things. This cheating is enough command here and no inquiry is done against them. One such thing was a tee shirt of our college. Although government would had provided full amount so that each student would get T-shirt but firstly a very few of them were made and no such info was given to students ,thus officials would had eat much of the fund sent by government.

Faculty is not well and there way of teaching is also not good. While a few of the teachers teaches enough fast (and that also wrong /incomplete) ,on the other hand some are not experienced they uses to teach there subject as a duty and try to get rid of it as soon as possible. To them, it doesn't matters weather a topic was clear to students or not. Biggest example of this thing is that courses of a few teachers are not completed till now.

I had taken K-CET and COMED-K entrance examinations. But by CET rank was really bad like almost 10k which I lost hopes in this college. But whereas in COMED-K, my rank was around 5k which was a kinda decent score. So,basically I got in through COMED-K and this college I wanted because for my ranking I preferred as the placements over here are pretty good than other colleges which come at par with this college (bnmit, nmit, rnsit etc).

There are an almost equal number of girls and boys in the college many workshops will be conducted for students and also there will be many technical and cultural competitions throughout the year in which the students can participate and get prizes there are students of all kinds and from different countries. gender equality is maintained in college no politics based on economic status , everybody is treated equally.

Campus life was good with all required arrangements and facilities gender ratio was excellent almost 45:55 male to female ratio. Playground with swimming pool students form 17 different states was there in my batch mostly students from rich families were there almost students from all religions were there.

For 1st year most of the faculty was In-house faculty were good with very impressive credentials. 1st year all the faculty of general PGDM taught. 2nd Year it was a mix of In-house and Industry expert faculty. Experts for respective industry were called to taught all the subjects in second year.

Fee structure was fixed for free- Rs 35000 & paid-Rs 5000 students. fixed & paid students decided at the time of counselling on the number obtained in PET. College was very flexible for depositing fees & it always help student if any student is unable to pay. College allow fee deposit in installments or as per the student convenient.

I have complete BE in electronics & communication in 2005, course curriculum was decided by the RGPV university & college implement it very deeply & it was very helpful for all students to understand each semester objectives & target. Course was divided into 8 semesters so it was very easy & planned studies in college.

I got admission in TKIET through CAP process filled CAP form and submitted required documents and selected colleges I wanted to get admission then I got admission based on my merit. I got admission in Computer Science and Engineering Course like everyone else this is CAP process.

We have really good staff. they have very good knowledge of their subject very supportive and friendly most of them have completed their ME/M. Tech. Some of them have their PhDs so all of them are very well educated and qualified very good knowledge of subject.

Infrastructure is not as par with other MBA colleges but when it comes to resources needed, Student Body Committee manage to arrange. Corporate Exposure is something which every student aspire for and we get it through Guest Lectures and other sessions. We usually have these sessions fixed in every week. The peer group and the activities we have inside the campus are very interesting and learning. College has good facility of Class rooms and Library is also there in which required stationary is always available. Canteen facility is inside the college. In sports Badminton court and TT is inside the college arena. Overall the infrastructure is not that huge but essential infrastructure is provided by the college.

Big Shot companies like HCL ,Nestle, Delloite ,Kazo, Amul, Bajaj, Mazars, ITC Hotels,HDFC etc had visited the company in past 1 month. More than 70 students has been placed till now and the placement is still going on. The average package being offered is 5.55 Lakh per annum. The lowest package till date is of 4.25 Lakh per annum, whereas highest being 6.50 Lakh . Student were offered quite good position from being an Associate hr to CR manager. Nearly, everyone got placed for internship programs.

Initial year as all branch subjects are included in 1 year course , later on like from 2nd year on words semister wise curriculum is applied.which helps to get proper knowledge on respective subjects. Labs and projects works are introduced .As their is common course structure for entire university , this college is introduced same course curriculum but their level of standards which explain respective subjects are good.

Gender Ratio - Male and female is 55 males for 45 females and there is no ragging in college seniors and juniors are very friendly.there will internal workshops for every 15 days. Their is no politics and students use to love their studies and extra curricular activities sports are well encouraged here in college has own cricket football volleyball grounds labs are well furnished and equipped with latest goods.

Many festivals, academic and sports events take place in the college. Festivals include - onam, diwali,ganesh chthurdi,ethinc day,etc Literary events - world heritage day, hindi spthah,other magazine related events, Academic events - various design trophies, there other other competition between colleges like Louis khan trophy, etc Sports events - 5 on 5 football,annual sports meets,volleyball, basketball, etc.

B. Arch is a really tough course. You have to have the patience to sit though hours of work and theoretical studies. The course covers all the basics for you to become and architect and start practicing. Design, Graphics, Professional Practice, Structures, everything you need to start your own practice all by yourself.
