The WBJEE form was released in around DECEMBER 2015. I filled up the form , payed the registration fees . then i went on preparing for it. then admit card were released . its print was taken from net , then exam was held. i gave the exam and the result came to be as the rank of around 15000. then the counseliing form was released . i filled it and then waited for the college selection. first i got Techno inida Durgapur. then i had to visit shibpur my center to pay seat approval fee and apply for further upgradation of college in second round of counselling i was given a seat in Techno India Rajarhat with a branch of Electronics And Communication ENGENNERING.. THEN I APPROVED the seat and took admission from the college.

The events are generally large and well managed, Teachers day celebration, Freshers 2016 - It happened for us , the party was grand and everything was good, I & WE ENGAGEMENTS Robotics Worshhop - It is a very good program for engineers as it helps to study the electronics chips and work with them.. the participation is allowed to all the students whether belonging to or not to the college.

College celebrate many fest like Anokha tech fest, Gokulastami, Pongal celebrations, Ugadhi celebrations, Onam celebrations, Amritotsam i.e Institution day, Amma's Birthday Etc.

Amrita Entrance Exam, Also reffered as AEE. I chose the course because the course covers the basic of all engineering i.e Measurement, Automate Control.

The gender ratio is about 3.6-4 to 5. The diversity is quite vast as there are students coming from different states of India asa well as a fair amount of international students. There is great ethnic, racial and religional diversity in the college. Extracurricular events such as Robot wars, meteor, BAJA, coding contests and treasure hunt are organised. Sports activities in different sports such as football, cricket, basketball, badminton, tennis are held. Most of the competitions are fun to participate and learn.

The most awaited cultural festival in the college is Sinhgad Karandak organised in January of every year. There are dance events, drama, fashion shows and competitions. There are sports competitions and technical events and workshops all packed in the Karandak. Celebs such as Farhan Akhtar, the Chain smokers, Jay Sean and others have had their concerts in Karandak. Around the year there are various technical and non-technical events and flasmobs. Mostly the college has something worth doing.

Nothing as such i mean there r girls n boys in the class the no of boys to that of girls is average as it would be in any engineering college every stream has equal no of girls n boys the crowd in this college is mostly of central mumbai and harbour line rarely some students come here from western line.

Hectic we used to have lecture n practicals both on one day so sometimes after workshops we feel tired at the end of the day n feel like i m done with engineering but u should get used to it as that routine would repeat and nothing else as such physics and chemistry practicals are too easy to perform.

BIT is a campus where students from all over india get the admission, so one can meet people from every part of the country there are regular activities held for the students and there is no race religion or politics quality standards are very good everything is built designed and planned according to how a student life can be made better and disciplined so that students can be directed towards bright future.

There is a separate entrance exam to get admission in BIT, and if you fit according to eligibility criteria, one can appear for that exam, and there is also a cut off criteria for marks, and accordingly, one can get the admission after clearing the exam, there are lists of ranks in which students clear the exam are published on internet, and after that it all depends on those rank lists to get the admission.

NATA - is the exam one has to take up to be qualified for admission into any architecture college. Its based on both your 3D and drawing skills. There are two halves to the exam - one half being drawings based on perspective and Sciography skil. The other half is an online quiz based on general architecture knowledge and 3D surface knowledge there are many centers providing coaching for NATA exams, and don't worry you can write the exam more than once if you aren't satisfied with your grade, i which case the second result the average sum of both the test results. So Beware its tricky.

The college doesn't but we can apply for any firm of our choice in any city of our liking for experience and exposure! Applying for this internship involves creating a CV and an attached "portfolio" which contains all the in-house work and extra curricular activities one is involved with and judgment on the quality is based on the diversity and creativity one has put into the portfolio There are many online sites onto which people share their portfolios.

I scored 170 cut off mark in 12th me just request in thus college they provide me the application form and i just joined in this college and there is no special process for admission i just paid the college fee and joined as i am a hostel student i paid hostel fee too. Before college starts they doesn't force me to pay any addition fee for the admission.

Totally 354 students were placed in the company's, through our college and through off campus they came through multiple rounds and they got placed in various companies over all students from all courses has been attended the interview. I took the entrance examination AIEEE in the year 2012 and after securing an AIR of 1,53,742 i decided to take admission this particular institute mainly because the premier institutes did not come my way unfortunately due to the kind of rank i had secured had not been sufficient enough,i decided to move forward with this institute since it had a great infrastructure,good transport facilities,a very large campus with extra curricular activities always on the line up apart from quality education which i had heard from near and dear ones studying there alreadymaintaing a school like discipline and administration which in turn benefits students in the long run even if it at the onset might seem difficult to even think.

Campus life is very strict and disciplined which produces good quality of students but sometimes it feels like a very much contained environment, there are several opportunities and support provided for extra curricular activities, Labs are fully functional to their best, improvements however can be done in the quality of desktops and accessories provided in order to be ranked among the best and with the kind of fee structure that is charged, The technical fest Auxesis was organized under me in the year 2015 and there is great enthusiasm and support from all authorities and students similar kind of outlook is put forward in other competitions as mentioned.

Those from the Mechanical, Civil and Computer Science departments hold nothing but praise and respect for their teachers. Students from other departments claim that the faculty is average with some really good professors and some really dumb ones. The faculty in the Instrumentation Technology department is said to be in urgent need for betterment. Communication is in English, but they have an inclination towards the regional language and are better off explaining in Kannada.

MCA Course Details: MCA is a PG degree course and MCA Course duration is 3-years. This course is offered to students in most of the Universities across India. The candidates who want to pursue a career in the s/w field can choose this course after graduation. This course offers numerous job opportunities for bright students in software companies and also in MNC’s with high salaries and the growth of software engineer can outrun the growth in any other similar fields.

Apart from the regular scientific courses, workshops, lectures, seminars and symposia, we do have various events going on the campus. Some of them are here. Pravega: A fest organized by undergrads. Which is one of its kind uniting several institutes on a single flat form. Its a kind of scientific and cultural fest. It involves several thousand people participating in a span of 3 days. Sangham: The yearly starting ceremony which introduces the campus to the new. It involves about 3000 people roughly. Open day: A Saturday In the month of march every year. The campus is open for the public that day. You can come, watch, feel and enjoy the miracles of science. Over a lakh people visit the campus that day and some more.

Campus life is amazing. You would not realize that time is passing here. We do have various social organizations, clubs, adventure clubs, sports clubs, fashion clubs, music clubs, student agencies with different domains of interest that include both personal and public welfare. Some of them even go for open challenges in competitions. Gender ratio: Its not different from other places. Engineering stream is flooded with male population. Where as physical and chemical schools have relatively more population of female students compared to engineering but with higher number of guys with in the schools. Life sciences is one place male students are minority.

Placement is Awesome. Companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, Oracle, Birla soft and many more are visiting our campus every year. College placement cell is working very good to create opportunities for there students.

UPTU Entrance Exam. I got 1577 Rank in GEN category. I don't want to miss home made food that's why choosen this college. It's just 8km from my home.

Their were placement cell which used to help in organising the placement fair. It was an excellent experience as we were also involved to get the companies in our final year. There were a number of companies that used to come including EY, Delloitte, etc. The placement rate was generally good although a lot of people used to opt for higher studies. Internship -Their were placement cell which used to help in organising the placement fair. But since the internship was not relevant at my time, there was no such requirement. MBA course is really very interesting MBA is divided into 4 semester.in our college one extra subject is french.in first year economics, law, hr, marketing, accounts, business communication, behavior science and quantitative aptitude are common subject for every student in second year on the basis of student's choice they can choose their specialization like-marketing, finance, international business, human resource.

Teachers are really very good and supporting each time there are different -different type of teachers some are aggressive by nature and some are soft by nature some teachers supports you all the time in any situation they supports you they knows how to encourage student for subject there main focus is on study and placement study hard is main thing and after 1st year placement is only important.

Department of Mechanical Engineering was established in the year 1995 and is approved by AICTE New Delhi and affiliated to Pune University. Department of Mechanical Engineering has been accredited by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi. Department is equipped with the state of art equipments and Laboratories with excellent computational facilities including professional software packages such as AutoCAD, ZWCAD, Pro-e, Ansys, Hyper Works, MATLAB, Master cam, Cognifront(Basic Mechanical & Engineering Graphics). The Department is active academically with excellent results and is equally active in co-curricular activities including SAE, ISHRAE, MESA and Renewable Energy Clubs.

In our college ,fee structure format is basic which include most important part that is tuition fee.that tuition fee is calculated such that each and every student and his\her family afford it without much efforts and major problems. In my admission time i had paid only 35,000.That fee include library,Gym and such many other basic facilities which are important for growth of future engineer.

Shri Ramdeobaba College of Engineering & Management, Nagpur in collaboration with DELNET, New Delhi, jointly organized an One-Day Workshop on DELNET: “Resources, Services & Facilities and Open source software for libraries” on Tuesday, the 15th November, 2016 from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. More than 114 Library professionals, Library and Information Science students and Research scholars from various institutions, from Maharashtra & Neighbouring States, registered and actively participated in the Workshop. The workshop was held with an objective to enable the participants to gain knowledge of access to various e-resources and online services provided by DELNET and thus to provide expert assistance to users; to train the participants in adopting open-source software for library automation purposes, etc. Many events took place in our college such as WAD,Pratushruti,Prerna etc.

Well RCOEM is really a good college to persue your Bachelor's degree for the following reasons the collegeis ranked 87th amongst Engineering colleges of India, including IITs, NITs and govt colleges it has s good placements percentage ( comparatively IT and CS along with E branches get a good job opportunities than Core branches like Civil, Electrical nd Industrial, Mech) Teachers here ae helpful to the students.They help the students in getting internships and encourage the students for research oriented projects. International exposure RCOEM has MOUs with many foreign universities. I had a friend who has been to a foreign university for 1 semester students Crowd Here have students from various parts of India. The college has its various clubs includig Dance club, Drama, Music, Photography, technical, Robotics etc

I took CG pre engineering test exam and I had scored 95 rank state wide. So I was invited for counselling for the very first day only, and in the first round I had to select three branch as my preference. My preference was 1) Electronics 2) Mechanical and 3) electrical, and I got electronics.

Fee structure was very feasible being a government college managed by central government. we had to pay fee yearly fee in advance and it was not costly as compared to any other private colleges so this is was good part, being a public college it used to get grants from the central government.

Each department has committees which carry out various technical extra curricular activities throughout the year. Also, the college has a students council which is responsible for the cultural festivals in the college. Interdepartmental sports competitions are carried out during the month of January. Various outdoor sports such as cricket (both overarm and box), Football, Badminton etc. as well as indoor sports like carrom, chess, Table tennis are organized. Interdepartmental debate competition also takes place once a year.

The entire engineering course follows a semester pattern so there are 2 exams per year. The course runs for 4 years. Each subject has marks for theory and practical depending on the subject. Also, during a semester the student is expected to maintain a file containing all the assignments and practicals. On an average during the entire course the day comprised of 4 hours of lectures and 2 hours of practicals.

The campus life is definitely vibrant and fun with various student groups and activities. Various activities are held with regularity and the fact that there are many facilities like fields and courts for sports along with labs , a medical centre ,a bank, multiple food courts and even a temple (!) ensure that there is never a dull moment on campus. The gender ratio depends on the stream of study with mechanical having just 2 girls in the whole batch and biotechnology having only 6 boys in the whole batch. However, overall there exists a healthy gender ratio in the college. A particularly surprising fact however is that only Men's accommadation exists on campus and the women's hostels are located a good distance outside of the campus. Although, they're given adequate measure as far as I've heard, the location is extremely inconvenient for the female students in some cases. Also, people from all over the country study in the institution ad therefore it is a melting pot of culture. No one is made to feel left out and no one has been targeted for their place of origin or mother tongue. Overall, there is a healthy cultural diversity in the college. Extracurricular activities are encouraged and many clubs and groups exist in the college.From sports like basketball, tennis, volleyball, to clubs like the quiz club, dramatics group, debate group to technical clubs like the robotics club (Astra), the hybrid vehicle club(Chimera), the racing club, etc, the college has them all. All the clubs are extremely active and have brought laurels to the college after participation in various national and international competitions . The clubs ensure that everyone can do what they love and learn a lot on the way.

The admission process began with the computerised allocation of seats by the CET cell according to students' merit and preference. This was conducted in 2 phases - First, a mock allocation to help students get familiarised with the process , since we were the first batch to whom the manual process was replaced by a computerised one. This occured in the final week of June. After the mock allocation was over, the actual process occured and soon students were allotted seats by the computerised system. Students who were satisfied with the process could report to the CET cell and pay the prescribed fee via DD to obtain a receipt which needed to be shown at the college for the further process. This process took place in the first week of July. After paying the fee, we were required to go to the college and complete the admission process, This basically meant procuring a bunch of forms from the admin block, filling in my details and paying the rest of the fees to the college via DD and signing some declarations and agreeing to rules. The process was smooth and free of harassment except getting the DD at the bank , since it was crowded with all the people who wanted to get the DD. This process needed to be completed by July 31 accordeing to the CET cell.

Many events are celebrated in our college , we have culturals at both the odd and even semesters .intra college during the odd ones are called SIVARANJANI and inter college culturals during the even ones MITAFEST . there are also other functions such as the rotofest , homefest (for the hostellers ) symposiums for all the semesters (again both even and odd ) .our department function is called as the SPARK (odd) and AUTOMEET (even) , AUTOMEET is one of the biggest national level symposiums where about 5000 students all over the country participates.

Alumni's helped us a lot in placements for our college since there will always an MIT'ian in every major companies at a higher posts such as the CEO's GM's HR's . but this is getting drastically reduced there are several reasons due to increasing the number of students in the college and many more.there some restrictions to prevent ragging every year alumni meet is conducted after the even semester symposiums .senior help us by guiding in events and competition such as the baja etc.

First , the UPSEAT (entrance exam to UPES,) Then, counselling session at Delhi where students are called rank wise and can get a seat available or wait list themselves for a branch already out of seats. Meanwhile , a large screen projector shows you real time information about seats available for every branch while people wait for their turn. In your turn , we choose a seat give them the first semester payment amount and confirm our selection.

The fee structure is expensive compared to a normal engineering college our fee is approximately 2 lakhs per year for tuition. It is highly expensive for a college where the only justification is one or two good company opportunities. So overall you are spending 8 lakhs on tuition alone and get an average salary of 4 lpa . The feasibility is not a question mark , but a big "no way fealsible".
