Exams are conducted in other departments. The question paper consists of some mcqs, two mark question, five mark question and 15 mark question. Some subjects also need projects which has to be done other than this exam and some needs seminars to be taken and marks were given accordingly.
Only few faculty members was good who had good knowledge of subjects but most of them only 40% knowledge of subject. Its not a good place to get knowledge.

During first semester, we had subjects as we had in higher secondary and from the second semester we started exploring Information technology related courses. We used to have some practical sessions twice or thrice in a week.
I just completed my higher secondary and applied for counselling. My cut-off was 191.5 and I chosed Kongu as first preference and Bannari as second preference.

There are many events. Tech fest, cultural fest, literature, dance etc etc. Every day there would be some event or the other in which you can participate, enjoy, learn, show your skills and be happy and wait for more events. You can also build your own club if you wish to do something different and interesting. Involvement is the key here and you can involve as many students as you can. It is indeed an enjoyable event.
I could see the curriculum online on the website. There is generally a set curriculum of courses and trainings in the mechanical engineering program approved by UGC. There are hardly any flexibilities except for the two electives. One in third year and one in fourth year. I believe that those electives too aren't of much help. So, there isn't much flexibility in the course structure.

The fee structure is little bit expensive but it includes all the facilities such as transport , hostel , mess , sports , books , and other activities. Your daily expenses are very less as maximum expenses has been covered in the annual fees of college. The fees is around 3.5 lakh per annum for engineering with maximum facilities given to a student for their overall development.
Course structure is very good and there is research department also for every field of study. There were around 8 electives in 7 n 8 the semester . We were learning 1 electronic and 1 computer subject in every semester which was compulsory. Course structure was very well defined . There were placement classes to excel in job opportunities.

Fee structure i wouldn't say was nominal. It was 75000 per annum which was not as per the infrastructure provided and the facilities given. There was no cafeteria which used to act as a big limitation as we had no choice of sitting and having lunch together in the college so we used to look for alternatives outside the college.
Admission was on the basis of the rank. The exam included general aptitude, maths, verbal ability, logical reasoning etc. We were allotted our centre where we were supposed to give the exam and the result took around a couple of months. The choice of college was made as per my convenience of travel.

I can't completely say No, There are few companies which provided internship like Anchanto, Maxwell, Mactors, Panthernell, etc. They don't have any facility to provide internship. But yes the faculties are helping for internship outside with there contacts. But I'd say here, other big companies should also visit to such areas, there are lots of bright students who face problems due to lack of opportunities.
I opt this college at first position in my list as I was confident about getting shortlisted. After shortlisted I visit to college and done compulsory formalities. Then I visit to boys hostel for admin, When I enter first time to campus, I really fell in love with that nature. The main attraction is ADMIN building and library, It has very huge library and almost collection of books.
Each department in our college. Will conduct seperate symposium, which has seperate events each events have seperate competitions. Other college students will participate the competitions. We also celebrate some functions like, annual day, sports day, inaugural function, etc.
The one word to describe our college placements is good . I have placed in 3 companies, but i have received only one call letter instead of three. I have placed in non technical company called Aee Bee Acadamy with the salary package of 1.2 lakhs per anum.

In addition to entrance examinations, they also offer admission to some students through management quota. So if you can spend a good deal of money, you can get into Amity.

The course structure of college is designed in a well manner. KNIT Sultanpur is an autonomous college so many new things are also being added in the course structure. College has may labs and a good library. But most of the labs are not in good condition. I was in computer science department, I can say honestly I worked on labs computer only 4-5 times.
Obviously it would be hectic. You are choosing 1 year course . So it means that you have to finish 2 years syllabus within 1 year. So it should be hectic. But still I must say that one will enjoy. Lots of group activities will be involved. So it would be fun to work till at 12 am also.
Placement is very structured. If you are from IT background, you will get abundant opportunity. You will also have decent companies even if you are from Non-IT. Approx 60 companies came for 75 students starting from IT Giant to stable start up company. Average package is 8 lpa .
