Exam structure is very well defined. Exams are conducted at very well defined manner. Academic calendar provides very well defined dates for every activity round the year. Strict compliance to academic calendar is maintained. Exams are conducted in a manner to test every possible skills of the student. With such schedule we can judge our performances at each interval so that we can work on our weak areas.

Placement drives are conducted round the year. Every attempt is made so that maximum number of students get selected during campus placement. Attractive salary packages is offered to almost every deserving candidate. Job opportunities are well placed in all domain that is every course. Training courses are also held within the campus for students.

For core streams i.e. civil, mechanical, electrical chances of getting placed through college is low. Because most of the companies that come to our college are I.T. based. Students from those streams can appear in campus interview but due to their lack of knowledge in programming languages, they are seldom selected. But this year Navy recruited from our college. So you cannot complain. And for C.S.E, I.T. , E.C.E it's the best private college when placements are considered.

The course structure is vivid. If one studies the entire curriculum thoroughly, he/she will indeed learn a lot about technologies and their application. For every semester we have 2 internal exams. The first internal consists of half the syllabus and the second internal consists of the full syllabus. Marks of best of the two exams are selected. Teachers take special care for practical classes and during viva they judge how much you have actually learnt.

A few interaction are always being planned by the faculty members at starting of the session , which motivates us how to move forward in our engineering as well as how to set your aim or target and as a result of that interaction we get benefit less time loss because time time required by them selves to do was more and the by direct interaction that time loss is being down short. Thanks to excellent aluminium network and planning new interaction by faculty members.

Our college itself organises the AAROHAN to exhibit talent in many disciplines of sports,and in gender ratio imn mechanical are very less in 100 student of boys we will find 1 girl student, labs are good and managed perfectly by management except the labs of mechanical and civil society for which equipment are not available in the college, many other competition like A QUEST organised by ISHARE in student level chapter in our colleges so like this go on.

I simply walked in and got admission on the basis of my graduation marks. You have to submit your graduation degree i.e. 12+3 or 12+4 degree along with final years statement of marks and the LC of grad college, and after the process a list was displayed which had my name. I paid the fees and took admission.

I'm doing LLB from PUNE UNI. Its the toughest uni to do law from. there is 35 marks passing criteria for individual subject and in the whole year one must achieve 50% marks of total of that year. No scope for research in any Indian uni for doing law.

The placement are very well among any other private college. Job opportunities inside or outside the college are more then we think. The highest package in this year is 9 lakh from the Microsoft which took 4 student. There are many companies come on campus placement like tcs, wipro, L&T, microsoft, ashoka leland, capgemini and many other prestigious companies.

The college offer so many course with bba and mca. college have well equipped lab and library which helps the students more to understand and research. The cse and it department are best because the placement are nearly 100 %.College have also a good mechanical workshop with all required machine and the lab also best among all the college.

First thing to get the admission was , we have to go to trivandrum , to the commissioner of examination office to validate our certificates and give options for the allotment if we are not eligible for the current allotment list. Based on the options given (preferred college and branch to study), there were many allotment lists and I got the admission in the college after third allotment.

In our batch campus placements were there and more than 5 people got placements in multinational companies like Infosys, proxys, huwawei etc in various locations like bangalore, chenai and cochin. They got very good offers for the positions, for example 6 lakhs for proxys, 5 lakhs for infosys etc.

Generally admission process starts after declaration of 12th result. Firstly i have applied for Engineering course by filling application form which were available at some government colleges at that time. Then based on the 12th marks and PCM marks (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) merit list is displayed. And then according to merit numbers i have attended rounds and then i have got admission in COEP.

Faculty is outstanding and are well qualified to teach the course in syllabus as well as beyond the syllabus. Most of them are doctorate. and they are giving enough attention to share their knowledge as well as to do the research work. Specialisation of the faculty is also course wise, therefore the faculty who is specialised in particular topic teaches that subject.

Like every other engineering college AKGEC celebrate a technical festival,a sports meet, farewell, freshers party and a cultural festival every year.Apart fro that it organises many events related to other curricular activities and professional and personal improvement. There is a society for each branch which organises events related to that particular branch and everyone can participate.

Before 2008, the on campus placement record of AKGEC was very good thats why I joined this college but after the recession of 2008,placement record is decreased.Before 2008, companies of every sector used to visit AKGEC for campus placements. Some of these are Rockwell automation, Siemens, TCS, Techmahindra, Birlasoft, Infosys and many more.

The largest event of the college is the Engifest, held in February every year. Engifest is among the largest cultural fests in Delhi and has been being organised for over 30 years. The scale of Engifest is huge and it is organised over 3 days, with competitions and lectures by renowned personalities as well as parties ending with a star night. INNOVA is the annual techno-management fest of the college and is held over a month.

Campus life is very casual and students are allowed to pursue any subject of their own bidding via clubs, societies, etc. The gender ratio is skewed in favour of boys. Students from around the country are present in all classes. There is a Kashmiri Migrant quota as well. Economic status of students is not taken into account while making friends and most students are open to opinions contrary to theirs.

Their knowledge was quite good but they don't guide students properly with future challenges. Means in future in what direction we need to do hard work. If they provide proper guidance regarding future GATE entrance exam and regarding quantitative aptitude than it would be helpful for all the students to get placed in good company without struggle.

Electives were not good as that telecommunication subject demand is not that much high in the market. So i think college should provide VLSI as well as many more elective subjects that can help a student to get placed in company with good pay scale.

In my college annual function is organised every year. In which all students of college must be participated. Fresher party and Farewell party is organised by the students of college every year. Every year also organised a sports game in which bandminton, cricket, football, kabaddi, chess, weight lifting, etc are included. After the end of sports game a certificate is provided to the winner and runner.

Admission in this college is now available from the exam conduct by mp state for engineering & Medical. After exam result when your rank is elligible for admission then you should do counselling. After the counselling from state government council then you go for admission in the college with the score card and all essential documents.

Placements starts from the very first day of August. some of the big giant in the market like amazon, de shaw, google, microsoft, directi, samsung r&d, deloitte can be seen from the very first day. internship opportunities are quite good for B.tech students but not for M.tech students. B.tech students get pre-placements offers from google, directi, microsoft , samsung r&d etc.

Exam Taken- GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test In Engineering) score - Gate Score - 675/1000, marks - 59.33/100, percentile- 99.47, AIR- 823 because at this score and rank IITs were open. option for NITs and IIITs was open but I choose to stay in NCR. And after IITs this is the best college in NCR in terms of placement and opportunities.

Placement and job opportunities was medium, some software companies like Tech mahindra, L&T etc with a good salary packages like 3 lakh per anum. Some companies like B.P.O and customer care, technical assistant with a good salary packages like 2.5 lakh per anum. According to teaching quality, syllabus , so many students placed in government like power sector etc, so many got chance in abroad.

Through JEE , and I scored 7069 rank, according to my rank and that time ECE stream craze, i opted this college, and we were the first batch in our college, so i thought college will give more attention in placement to attract future students. and also the college situated in Durgapur, which is mainly industrial area.

Once I got the confirmation letter from UPTU then with that letter went to the college to take admission in september 2009. Then with all required documents, followed the procedure by submitting the self attested certificates admission confirmed. Got the receipt from the college and now moved to check for the hostel facility.

Course curriculum was same in first year and since I was from ECE them from second year got my core subjects. In time of practicals we had to work hard, only chemistry practicals went good else no such practicals happened. In last year, it was great subjects were interesting.

The college had organised its first Campus Placement Programme for the students presently in their final year and the fresh graduates, in collaboration with PNB Metlife, one of the leading players in the insurance sector. There was no entrance exam for the admission to the college. The admission to this college was purely based on the merit marks of ISC or any other 12th board exam score card, and the ones with 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the Honours subject can take up that subject as their honours subject. The students were granted admission on the basis of their merit or marks scored.

I have got admission through JEE MAINS exam and i have got 185 marks and then i fill the form and at the day of counselling, i opt for mechanical stream. For counselling i went to mathura where i completed all the required procedure and then i was asked if i want to do upgraduation but i said no because i got branch of my choice.

In college there is one sports fest and one technical fest happened every year. In sports various indoor and outdoor games were played. Technical fest has been organised at big level in which various societies organise various events. All the students of college as well as inter college students can participate in these events.

The public notification has been given in news paper for gate qualified members. I had downloaded the prescribed application form from online from JNTU Hyderabad website. Then i had attached all my documents related to the course and a demand draft of application amount has been attached and sent to the address by post.

The course curriculum includes 2 regular semesters , i year for project work in first semester 4 subjects and 2 electives , in second semester also 4 subjects and 2 electives and 1 full year for project work where we can involve in more research work and any other industrial training which we can support our thesis work.

Placement cell is very active in our institution. several IT farms such as Microsoft, Infosys, other companies visits regularly to study the activities of the students. This year blackberry company offered a 9 lakh package to a student. But the students are not getting their desired package as it is a tradition in india that only IIT , NIT students will get best package. L& T also gave a package of 7 lakh to 2 students.

At first OJEE was doing all the admission process. I applied for it through the website of OJEE. I got selected in the 1st round only. I took admission in the auditorium of the institution. Although the admission process was a bit lengthy , but i got admission. Now i m perusing my B.Tech degree from this glorious institution.

Yes, there is a fest that is held on every day, apart of this others cultural fest or actives held in every year, every fest is really very nice and joyful. As well as i really very enjoy in election day because this day has a extraordinary situation. And before 3 or 4 day before the election situation is different party and party and party, actually there is nothing but enjoyment.

Yes, there is a job opportunity in moti lal nehru college even there is a placements cell and our economics teacher was the head of placement cell. I had also participate in placements and that time TCS was came in college but i was not selected. You will have more opportunity to get job, if you pursue b.com(hons.).

My college is the most feasible of all other colleges in my district. I have completed my engineering degree with wholesome amount of Rs.3,20,000. Inclusive of all charges. As i gone through counselling , my fee structure is a bit less than others. Tution fees - 40,000 per year, lab fees 5000 per year, note book fees - 2500 per year, uniform fees - 1500 per year, transport charges - 11000 per year.

As i'm a mechanical student, i wasn't called up for any software company jobs. Not any mechanical company came to my college. As a topper I was invited for an off-campus by a designing company. But the selection over there was limited by no. of heads per college. As per my Knowledge, only 1 was placed that too in off-campus . Not known about his salary.
