Very very interesting. Every students have to go for MRP (Minor research project) and MRP (major research project). In every semester we have to complete the component sheet, which makes it very strength full course. Students have to have minimum 80% attendance, otherwise, students have to face Director of the PIMG (Dr. SS Bhakar). And I assure, no fraud or farzee certificates work there.

Placements opportunities are fair enough. We get many opportunities from our placements department. Prof. Megha Yadav and Prof. Abahy Dubey are the coordinators of placement cell of PIMG and they are managing it well. We have developed the competence to contribute for the development of the organization. We are trained to formulate & implement projects independently.

College management depends upon the HOD if the HOD is good, management goes on well. Teachers are very talented they teach very well but the thing is they wont get much time to spend with students.

During my time it was feasible, now heard that it was nearly 1Lakh. For few groups it will be expensive. The fee Structure is feasible maximum 25k per semester including the hostel fees. Loans are also offered by banks to the students. TFW students have to pay less fee. Departmental fees are also there Rs. 300 per year. The college accepts challans for fee deposits. Fines are also charged for late submission of fee but the fine is also very less maximum of Rs. 500.

The campus life is very nice and happening its a very cool and nice place to be. You can do whatever you want. A number of clubs are active throughout the year. You can stay in college after college hours in clubs for activities. Boys can stay the whole night in the college for their work. Girls need special permission from the Vice chancellor.

Manas Ranjan Sahu Scholarship this scholarship is in memory of our ex student Manas Ranjan Sahu which is awarded to a B.Tech Final year Student on the basis of Merit-cum-Means. The amount is Rs. 25000/- and the award is given annually at the beginning of the semester. Economic Hardship Scholarship the objective of this scholarship is to help economically backward students to meet the day to day academic expenses. This scholarship is given annually to 30 students of B.Tech, 3 Students of MCA and 2 Students of MBA . The amount of Scholarship is Rs. 18000/- per year to each one of them tuition Fee Waiver Scheme Under this scheme 5% of total intake of UG students, whose family total annual income is less then Rs.4.5 Lacs are given full tuition fee waiver. Last year my senior was in final, many companies comes to provide a job to the students. There are 40 students in ba final year, out of 40 about 32 were placed in the company's . Exam structure is very simple we have 6 subjects maths, physics, Java, c++, English, statistics. The question paper was held between 2/3 days holiday. Exam were easy but the checking of copy was too hard. We can't count our marks . they give as they want. My college was affiliated to dav university it is good university.

Faculties are regularly comes to classes unique lecturing hall for each class predefined timetable for different day orders totally six day orders we had a faculty is allotted for a particular subject will come to class in time tabled period in laboratories technician also faculties helped us on learning practical also practicing them other than these time faculties will be available in their cabin at faculty room.

Only 3 continuous assessment tests and one model examination for theory subjects very few problematic subjects used to conduct some extra tests to improve the performance of the student in practical after completion of one cycle of practicals there ll be a test in lab totally two cycles of experiments then one model examination university examinations are as per the schedule of anna university.

Faculty of college is surely efficient in teaching all types of subjects. Actually I have not got opportunity to meet them face to face as I am a distance student. But on telephonic conversation I have cleared many doubts related to my subjects of first semester. Even I have received calls from there end to clear my doubts.

When we talk about fees structure, it always matters as due to fees many students are there who can not complete there studies. Fees of my university is normal as for as for three years is concerned. But of course they can reduce it little bit for those who are unable to pay full fees of entire course curriculum.

As our college is very famous. So students came from the different different zone of India. Diversity in language diversity in faces is common not in my college infect all others too. Boys and Girls ratio was 50-50 infect in some field girls density is more then boys. Students belongs from differ religion and different casts.

Honest it is very surviving after college. Companies don't want any untrained student they need robot who can join and start fulfill there target. So i have to say from college side no placement opportunity. It's like help your self so in B.Tech struggle period is much than other course.

The placement differs from department to department. The placements of computer science department, mechanical engineering department, chemical engineering department, and paint technology are top notch. Also consultancies like Mu-Sigma and EXL come to campus for recruitment. Core companies like tata motors, hyundai, maruti, etc. are some of the major recruiters Placements of students of branches like civil engineering, electronics engineering, electrical engineering, leather technology, etc. are a bit low as far as core companies are concerned. Official figures of placements of 2016 batch have not been disclosed by the college yet except for the highest package that was 23 Lakhs bagged by a guy in biochemical engineering.

Harcourt Butler Technological Institute is one of the oldest institutions in the country with a glorious past. The glory has faded a bit because of pathetic funding by the state government but students have a new ray of hope now as HBTI has been granted UNIVERSITY status and now will receive direct funding from UGC. Many other colleges like NIT, IT BHU, IITs invites YMCA on their fests and we earned lot of prizes in many inter state and other state level competition along with various trophies won in cricket volleyball etc. Many students are later selected in various departments which requires sportsmen.

Campus life of the college is very good we don't have to rush for small things very far and can get everything in the vicinity. Sports ground with different courts is a big eye candy college promotes sports and has given few university level players who have participated in the events others events include inter college debate competition, many other events such as swimming, table tennis matches are held in association with YMCA sports club nearby.

I persued MBA in Marketing from this college. Faculty for all the subjects for this field was very good. Latest case studies and frequent visits to the real case scenarios was included in our curriculum. Our college not only supported studies butt also sports. The big play ground arena in front of the college was of great use. Good courts of volleyball,tennis and basket ball were present.

Placements are decent enough tk start our careers with. Companies from various departments like marketing buying export houses retail companies comes for the placements. The placement percentage is around 85%. For MFM many known companies like adidas,tommy Hilfiger, reliance brands limited, amazon, pantaloons, myntra, shoppers stop, future group, lifestyle, orientcraft, triburg, raymonds, blackberry etc comes.

Its a government institution so few structure is really affordable. The total fees paid for MFM course for two years was around 3.5 lakhs which is affordable by any student. There are banks which provides who the loans lkme united bank, bank of India at the same time of admissions. Students from SC OBC categories get great help from the college. They can get full fees refund by shoeing the required documents.

Exams are both planned and ad-hoc. Monthly cycle tests, lab exams are common. Semester exams occur as per University rules and norms. Most days are hectic. Chilling is not possible if one wants good grades/average. Viva voce is done daily in labs and one has to answer the staff satisfactorily to even enter the lab, had to complete syllabus by working on weekends too.

Placements are nearly 100% with all top IT companies coming for placemnts. It would be over by the time even 10 companies fully visit. Te packages are according to Industry norms. Infosy, Wipro, HCL, Satyam, HP, Siemens etc. May have to attend joint campus recruitment sometimes. But they ensure companies provide best placements for the graduates.

Course curriculum was good and covered almost what they have told us. Practical knowledge was very less and more of partiality among-st the students. I have never used the hostel and food there because i am from Delhi and was staying at my home but my friends used to stay but according to them it is worst and water lodging near hostels was big issue poor standard of living and poor locality bad experience.

Campus life: biased because if you are a hostlier you will be preferred over dayskees. Gender inequality with some teachers but that's not a big issue. Bengalis are much preferred. IT department Awesome- Marketing Super Awesome, PDP- worst and Finance I don't know much. This college is more on relationship basis.
