By the end of January, 85% of students seeking jobs would get placed. Companies really ranged in salary offerings. I would say the range was 4.3 LPA to 22 LPA (not including foreign placement salaries which was not in Rupees). The median salary would be close to 8.5 LPA. The highest paying firms were McKinsey, BCG, Deutsche Bank, Schlumberger, Rio Tinto.
The professors had a top class education themselves and most were great researchers in their field. So, there was no worries as far as qualification goes. However, most were either not interested in teaching or not interested in building good relationship with students (especially the younger ones).

The management of the college is pretty helpful. They would respond quickly and wouldn't keep us waiting for long. They would always listen to the students point of view, even if they wouldn't use it. The Dean is very approachable and students can meet her at any point.
Extra curricular are not encouraged much by the administration. But the students help each other participate. The gender ratio isn't ideal. But it isn't bad either. The college is safe for girls. No cases of discrimination have come up in the past.

Every student is doubtful when they first come to the college. Its a one building structure and very disappointing, just not what we see in movies. The first year goes by almost uneventfully to reduce chances of ragging and not provoke the excited senior folks. The next 3 years are a whole different story. There is just not enough time to do everything. From helping out seniors in organizing programmes to mentoring juniors, to exams the 4th year mostly dedicated to placements, every other week will have a company visiting the campus , some weeks have upto 4 companies coming over. Its a surreal ride, and definitely worth the experience.
Campus life is amazing. There is a lot of interaction between the different batches and branches. A lot of alumni relations as well extra-curricular are always happening, technical and non-technical. Gender diversity would be about 50-50 on an average. Electronics and Biomedical usually have a higher girl to boy ratio. There is no politics and a senate body by the students represent and take care of all issues related to the student body.

It is not very chilled out. We have 2 quizzes and an endsem. There are countless assignments, like one in 2 weeks or so. It is not hectic. Let me tell you that I have started watching all the tv-series and movies only in my college and still was able to graduate with flying colors.
The fee structure has become slightly expensive in the recent past. I paid only 30k per semester. There are 2 semesters in an year. It was very feasible. Even if its not the banks are more than willing to support you without any mortgage.
Not so good i can because the subject when i had to they said this is the subject for we had the teacher so u would have to choose this one. There is no choice fr opting in ME dept but in other dept its to easy to opt. I want to research in non conventional energy resources but the teacher is given fr this subject is not too good nut this faculty was less talented and is new one fr teaching.
