Gender ratio was 6:4. There were students from diverse regions. College used to get involved in many extracurricular activities like blood donation camps and health checkup camps. Many personalities social/ entertainment used to visit college. Competitions like debate, poster and stage presentation were routine.

College celebrated Annual day, sports day, new comers day, sendoff of seniors, black day, colourful day, mismatch day and traditional day. Other events like festivals also followed.

Most of the eligible students get placed in reputed MNC's as well as startups. The placement record is improving every year. We have a very experienced placement officer in our college who has a good network. Some of the companies were TCS, Capgemini, IBM, HP, Amazon, Bata, Neudesic, IMS health etc. Package ranges from 2.9 to 6 LPA .

The main event/fest organised by the college is called Revamp. It is an annual techno cultural spectacle which attracts more than 6000 students every year. Apart from that each dept from the college organises it's own fest to encourage students.

Campus is not big. College having small campus so no more free space for sports. But you have more scope for cultural activities. College participates in sports n cultural events. Gender ratio is good.

The most popular event that the college organizes is Impetus and concepts. It is basically projects presentation and also paper presentation. Event also includes Robotics , Coding, and many more.

College doesn't provide the stipend. Students themselves have to reach out to the companies after approval from the college. SAIL and NTPC were some of the PSU's where internship was done by students.

Cultural Events like Annual Fest, Blitzkrieg and Entrepreneur cell were organised each year. Technical fest, Robotics, Hackathon, Ethical Hacking and many more technical seminars were being organised.

Placements are fine. But as a general phenomenon, you would be in a Government owned University and should not expect to be very exposed to companies visiting your campus in bulk. But with due respect to the degree of a Government recognized University, you can try Off Campus recruitment drives with having an edge onto Private colleges.

The course curriculam is designed in accordance with specialization subjects. The course is not the basic course like other MBA programmes and it is somewhat close to the PGDM base. But despite being an updated study form, the university gives you a degree of MBA, rather providing a Diploma.

I opted for SGVU because it was deemed university and the environment for learning was present. Everything was so disciplined like exams results and each and everything. Criteria for selection was based on our class 12th percentage.

Placements and job opportunities were there according to your branch and interest likewise many core electrical companies took electrical students at good packages.

Gender ratio is average Male 60 to Female 40. Workshops are arranged for first year and final year students especially for mechanical students. No politics over here in this college. Students here are from different cities from Maharashtra (satara,sangli).

The course structure is entirely tough for first year, very congested with 12 subjects for first year and later the pressure gets reduces to second and third year and for final year the course is well organised.

They are many events are celebrated. Such as science fare, space science seminar, culural programs,sports events, beauty contest, etc.

Aviskhar is our technical cultural fest which conducted in march /april of each year .Students from various college participated in various technical events , well known peoples come to college as cheif guests in fest .

Technitude was the main technical event organised by college team with cultural techfest. Many colleges are showing participation in technitude events.

Campus life was good having approx 80-20 gender ratio. Labs are well equipped with latest equipment. Politics was happening during committee formation.

Overall the course structure goes on as per the syllabus of BPUT. From 1st year to 4th year there are total 8 semesters. Upto 7th semester, each semester consists of 6 theory papers and 2:3 or 4 practical papers. In 8th semester there are only 4 theory papers and one practical paper. In the final year (i.e. in 7 th and 8th sem students have to submit their major and minor projects along with various seminars.

Almost all the events which are to be celebrated in a school or college is celebrated here. Republic Day, Saraswati Puja, Holi, Independence Day, Ganesh Puja, Vishwakarma puja , Diwali, These are some of the festivals which are celebrated. Apart from these Tech Fest and Cultural fest(annual function) of college is mesmerising. Many local celebs also are invited.

Placement percentage is very good. All the people who apply for on- campus placements, 99% of them are placed. Companies like Dr Reddys, Technip, ITC, Reliance, Hindustan Unilever Ltd etc are few of the may companies which come for placements for my particular course. Packages given by these companies vary from 6 lpa to 17 lpa.

I gave the JEE Mains examination in the year 2014. My score was 200/360, which along with my CBSE 12th percentage of 95.0% gave me an All India Rank of 7393. The main reason I chose this college was that 1) It's a college of national importance and pretty renowned. It is also among the top 3 NITs in the country.

We celebrate in the college : cultural event, Poojas, New comers even, Nationation aids awareness event, Electing event, Science event and all open educatin event.

The exam happens 2 times in one year. The exam structure is very subjective. Students have to be very thorough in their knowledge of the subject to clear the exams with flying colors. The college also conducts the internal exams which helps the students in preparing them for the external exams.

There was many cultural events that are organised by the college. There is one cultural fest that happens once a year in Feb. Then there is the Annual day celebration that happens for whole one week, in which the college organizes the cultural nights as well for the students.

We have the best faculty for every subject and all of them had a great exposure in the industry. I cannot specifically take one or two names because all of them were the best in their respective subjects.

Yes internship was a serious task and its presentation was taken with indepth question answering session failing which there was a clause of redoing and resubmission of project and representation.

The faculty is good enough interns of their profile and background. But, would suggest having new blood and young professors because they bring in new perspective. Old professors generally don't have a broader perspective and old methods of teaching and activities are not good enough.

I took JEE entrance exam, Rank 3314. I wanted to go to IIT Delhi or IIT Bombay, department was my second priority. Because of the exposure and opportunities one gets in IIT Delhi and Bombay are far better than the other (it was my perception then, after 12th).

The curriculum is easy to understand from the fourth semester and difficult initially. The management gives you freedom to opt your own project in the final semester and helps in implementing it.

Karnataka CET 2002, I couldn't perform well in the CET exam due to personal reasons. It was close by my home and the college reserved a General Category admission for me at an economical fee.
