I kept to get into this prestigious college and I gave the VITEE entrance exam. It was in the year 2008 I wrote this exam, but I was not able to clear it and I got 10000 ranks. I didn't lose my hope and I applied for my masters again in the same college and I was selected through counselling. The college has excellent infrastructure, well equipped, good faculties and great exposure.

The campus life is excellent, enjoyable. We have had a great time inside the campus meeting different people. There were various food courts and outdoor games facilities. We always had fun hanging around and it was a naturally established campus

It was conducted once a semester. We had 3 semesters a year. Most subjected were covered. Attendance had marks which was weird. We had few sessions for each subject so 1 session absent, reduces 1 mark and if we are done with 4, we might fail. It was ridiculous as we had 2 subjects same day.

Cultural festivals were organised every semester, active participation was there. Fests were conducted by management too which was good. Students across participated, There is a hostel on campus which helped most of them for attending operational challenges.

After completing diploma in engineering I secured a rank 572 in JELET entrance . I got a chance in IEM kolkata (recommend as the best engineering college in west Bengal after JU) but due 2 Some financial problem I opted 2 join AOT. Also 1 of senior who is a passout from AOT nd currently working with TCS recommend me to take admission in AOT.

Every year there are many technical festival and events are organized in our college. But the one I liked the most is the ARCADIA (annual fest ) which is organized during the month of april. It's kind of a thing every 4th yr student wants 2 remember 4 their entire life .

HR colleges charges a very subsidized fees for girls and also provides girl freeship. Scholarships are also provided to students having an exceptional academic record. Students coming from backward classes are subsidized and additional discounts are given to them.

Campus life at hr college is very happening and supportive. From seniors to faculty members all are friendly and supportive. Making friends has never been as easy as it is at hr college. Every day you meet new people and get to learn many new things.

Almost good, faculty members have good knowledge in their field, and also good in their lab work, but sometimes they act like doing partiality. Otherwise if you are well in english and soft skills then you get favor from faculty members.

JNU biotech. entrance exam, my rank in that entrance was 32, and i opt for this because JNU biotech. Had one of the topmost position for this field in india and i like practical approach in life.

My college doesn't have good placements, but they will send you to pool campus which are in and around bangalore. Few of my class mates got job in wipro/hp from pool campus. Less than 5 students got job in college.

Gender ratio was poor like 45 guys 19 girls,labs were good, life was not that good as food court was not a good place. You are not allowed to sit inside college roads foot paths neither chairs were available .

As I am in the first year so I really dont know much about the placements and their pakages. But some of the companies that come are Morgan Stanley, Accenture, TCS, Infosys etc . Morgan Stanley generally offers an average package of 4to5 lac pa , TCS 4 lac pa etc. The highest package given last year was for about 20 lac pa.

The campus life is great .The college has a huge campus. There is a seprate ground for football, cricket,volleyball and running. The badminton court is also present. There is no gender discrimination.The college also strongly supports an antiragging policy .The workshops are also well equiped.

My college specially requirut placement officer in the college. They work very sincearlly. My cource some student are placed mechanical core company. Some are placed in IT copany. Package s are 5 lackto7 lakch.

My college faculty is very talende person he solve my query with in minit some staff are PhD holder they are very cooperative person. They are good knowledgebl person in which subject they are teach

The best thing about this university probably is the network. There are many colleges in the same campus, the bonding between seniors and juniors is excellent. The alumni network is good too, if one keeps a track of the activities. Alumni meets are fun. There are alumni who are working at very high posts in companies, and are more than 30 years experienced, and even they are as much entertaining as anyone else.

The biggest technical event is the Colloseum. It's held once a year and is huge huge fun. More events than one can participate in. Lots of variety. Other than that, there is some or the other event being organized by different branch chapters/societies. Open Source Meets, Sports festivals are other events of interest that are frequent in the university.

Faculty was very experienced and intelligent. Would like to mention name of Mr. Manish Bafana who helped us throughout entire four years. All the teachers were professional and always ready to guide the students.

Gendor ratio was about 3:1 boy to girl. Workshop used to be scheduled for every friday for 3 hours for automobile. Overall college decorum was very good and strictness to maintain discipline was good.

I selected B.Tech-computer science and Engineering and i got it as per my score obtained in admission procedure. The duration for B.tech is 4 years. In First year we need to study all engineering subjects but from second year we have core subjects which we have opted plus few other subjects every semester.

I took AIEEE but Amity university conducts its own exam and follow its own admission procedure. Admission procedure had written examination followed by group discussion and personal interview. Amity is a very renowned college which imparts industrial knowledge.Its curriculum is almost equivalent to IIT's.

Pre engineering test, Rajasthan.Thanks 789 in state. This rank was listed as waiting 85 , as per total availablility of seat in engineering in year 1997. I choosed textile as CS, mech, electrical or electronics. Was not available to my rank in general category. Only college with placement and hostel facility was MLVTech , with textile technology as branch option.

No internship, only copy pasted report was submitted, for partial fulfillment. In record it was with BSL suiting and Morden threads, that I managed due to personal connection with HR, college was not able to play any role on it.

It is rigorous, fast paced, all in one. You see life pass by. All round subjects. Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Strategy. Case based learning. The curriculum should have more industry visits. The cases that are made to solve in these cases are mostly ones from the IVY league business schools. The students are allowed to be a part of clubs and committees too. These are the extra curricular activities that they get involved in.

Yes it provides an internship. The experience is something like this. There is Day 0, Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and so on. Companies with initial CV shortlists come on Day0 and the rest including GDs come on the later days.

Since you are not expected to have a ton of professional experience, interviewing for an internship or co-op opportunity is different than interviewing for a full-time job. I am doing four years BE mechanical engineering course faculty n senior students for quite good and so supportive in nature we all have nice army retired engineers who teaches very well practical labs are so nice and campus is so so awesome in area of descipline this college is one of the finesh college in india this college takes about 300 students per year to make students well engineers for their country i also provides the scope for direct army selection.

There is atleast one lab session of 2 hours every day. Here we can bring our own laptops or use the lab PC's too. Kits like beaglebone, 8255 etc are provided too by the college & can be issued by student for their use too. In FE-SE exams happen in 3 phases. 2 onlines of 25 marks each & final theory of 50 marks. TE-BE exams happen in 2 phases. One IN-sem of 30 marks and final theory of 70 marks.

The faculty is good. Most of them try hard and have clear understanding of the subject they are teaching. Due to a recent change in the change in our course, i.e. 2012 pattern teachers even didn't knew what to teach as the curriculum wasn't even available on internet too but it turned out to be a learning experience for them as well as us too. Teachers are friendly and are punctual too.

Yes. I myself was awarded with two scholarships which helped me.1. Central Sector Scholarship by Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.2. Fee waiver scheme by Madhya Pradesh Government. Both are provided on merit basis. Apart from this, there are fee exemptions for category students.

Faculty were experience. Most importantly they had field knowledge & they all are experienced of working on ground. This is what sets them apart from other college faculties. All this made the studies easier to understand however hard the subjects were.

As alumni my college always keep in contact with pass out student. But now a days no one have time to visit college which is too far from here so i am not able to visit my college in alumni .

They help each student course has independent class room and faculties take good care of each student, understanding college and environment of college is soo simply i cant define.

Every year we celebrated Annual function in my college. the function was being conducted for 3 days most of the times . In these three days, we were conducting and participating in various technical and cultural activities. Technical activities like paper presentation, poster presentation, project show, architectural models, science exhibition etc.Blood donation camps was also conducted and we and some of the NSS students were arranged the camp.

There were 22 faculties in my department. Out of them 1 was Head of the Department and acted as professor in the department. 6 other doctorate professors, 8 Associate professors and the rest were assistant professors. All of them were really good teachers. They were experts in various fields of computer science and engineering. The faculties always motivated us for our better career and future.

CET.I was determined to do engineering that too in Electronics. My rank was 2000, i got merit seat and i was the first one to choose my college during selection process. I had options in other college for it but i was looking for only electronics, thus i opted this college.

Every six month we had semester exams both for theory n lab(100 marks/subject). In between there were internal thoery tests and lab test also (for 25 marks each subject). It was chilled out schedule, we use to get enough time to study and prepare for exams.

College never expected us to do any internship. This can also be considered as 1 of the drawbacks. Nor the syllabus of VTU ever insisted on it. But I, out of my own interest had done an internship for 1 month. It helped me in placements too.

Depends on subjects and the professors allocated. Few are just too good to be there and few are awful. But BNM is competitively better than many colleges in Bangalore for computer science course.
