There was no stipend offered and for all the training purposes we had to go and search. Although for students pursuing m tech there was a scheme they can teach at college side by side.

Placement opportunities were good. Many companies used to visit college and the package that they were offering was also good. Hcl ,aon hewitt etc 1.8lpa,2.9lpa.

In MIT campus is always full of energy and enthusiasm. Gender radio was almost equal. The were workshops held every time. Workshops were very helpful for students. The is no difference based on gender, cast, or religion.

Faculty of college was very very helpful and Cooperative as well , they're friendly too. Happy to learn from them. Every faculty was well qualified for their job, had very sound knowledge to share.

Its not hectic all goes smooth and chill for us because its not that we have practical or viva marks to be worried about .And the time table do have atleast 2 days holidays in between every exam so its quite easy for us to give and get good marks.

As if now no internship option is offered to us and companies in our college are IBM,Dell,Concentrix,Mphasis,Infosys,Thomson Reuters,E & Y,etc. Most will come to our college and few hosts in nearby colleges and we do walkin there.

Exam structure consited of 6 semesters of which 5 semesters were General exam and 6th semester which is the last semester is project based.there are 4 iternal test of 10 marks each of which best 3 is considered. Final exam consist of 70 marks.You have to score min 50 marks to pass the exam.If you get back in any paper you have to again appear in the exam by depositing exam fee for that subject.Exam was tough affair however questions were repeated from last 3 years paper.

College was really fun.How quickly 3 years passed in the college.It was the best days of my life.I miss sitting in the canteen with my friends and doing so much masti. College management was not very strict and they provided us the desired freedom.I remember one incident where one of our collegue was suffering from dengue and all of us wnet to the hospital to see him. College was so helpful they postponed the internal exam by one day on our request.

Good is tat fees are less, but higher management will not respect parents if fees are not paid on time. Principals are stirct they won't allow for exam if fees are not paid but I hv got help from former principal to write exam but over all college is good but not salary promising college

Tamilnadu government stipend, yearly 6000 to 15000 rs according to ur eligility. Neither No stipend from college neither nor internship. They will encourage sports. A winner, runner and third place persons who's wins at intercollege competition will get 5000, 3000 and 2000 respectively.

The course comprises of 8 semesters in time frame of 4 years which mainly focuses on the field or real time knowledge of fields. Considering the ground relalitiies from a house to country level. The main object of this course is to develop the understanding of how settlements grow, what are the binding forces that control the growth and how to play with them in order to guide the growth and development of society.

In college of National Importance and such a good quality of education, one can't say its hectic or chilled out but yes, a good combination of both. You can chill out if your work is upto date because at the end of the day, all it matters is how much you have learnt and thats one think is what that lacks in many colleges and our education system.

I took IIT JEE, WB JEE, COMEDK.Rank of IIT I do not remember.At WB JEE, I got something around 15000.At COMEDK I received 6226 as rank.I was pretty sure I have to work in computers only. But at SMVIT, though CSE branch seats were all full, but for ISE the seats were still available. The difference of subjects in CSE and ISE were only two subjects that two only in 3rd and/or 4th year, which could be obviated by using choices of subjects. Hence I went ahead to choose ISE (Information Science Engineering at SMVIT college.

We had technical, cultural and management fests happening. Students participated in presenting their innovations and they also went to other colleges to win prizes on robotics. Cultural fests as well used to be organized at grand level. Prizes were also distributed in those events. Dance and Singing and General knowledge competitions used to happen as well.We also used to be part of the college magazine team(selected members) to manage the final college magazine of the year.

Faculty were really good and most of them are widely carrying industrial experiences , they are more into given people practical training. We had specialized faculty for all the subject also we get knowledge fro specialist visiting faculties.

Compare to the other colleges its really in budget , in 2007 it 1,20,000 only where the average cost for a MBA collage was 3lac to 3.5 lac that time .Though it have limited hostel facility or student have to stay in a PG.

It was very good environment in campus. Fortunately my classmates were very hardworking and cooperative and co-incidental my few room-partners were artists like me. I like singing and some of my partners used to play guitar and used to write lyrics. So we together enjoyed a lot these extra curricular activities. There were no gender or religious issues. We all used to live together and enjoyed together with lots of fun

Exam structure was very well organised. including both online and offline. the most of the objective papers used to be done online basis and descriptive papers used to be held on offline mode. Before examination we used to went through many practice tests which were very helpful for examinations.

Education loan facilities are provided by them, i think without interest for 5 years,i am not confermed about this because i dint take loan. Top 3 branch toppers are given scholarship per semester.

My college give best opportunies to thier student in placement drive. Around 100 compnies were coming to recruit thier. Infosys, wipro,Cts,accenture and tcs are mass recruiting compnies.

Faculty in RCCIIT college was that time very good. All the professors was very good and standard with National Engineering College. In some subjects faculty members was too good. Being subsidiary of Jadavpur University many professors were extended to teach from Jadavpur University.

In our time for the 2004 passed out students, placement was good. In our previous year, for 2003 passed out students, placement was very very good.Lot of renowned companies like TCS, Wipro, Syntal, Cognizant, IBM, Infosys offered job to our students.

The faculty of the college is very experienced having minimum experience of 20 years also the teachers are very cordinative and understanding. They see everyone is following every subject or not.

The course circulum is of that of mumbai university consisting of 8 semesters every six months. The electives were in the last year only. Exam consists of practical and theory.

Seniors were very helpful in our college life. Staying away from my family in an alien place with being scared and curious for the new experience that we were to start. Senior were the only friend we had in the hostel. They helped and guided with our studies and life in college.

The campus life was memorable and one of the best experience i can ever have in my life. I made good friends in my college and great learning experience in my 4 years. Which laid great foundation in my career and every day i still miss my campus life.

Course curriculum matches with the standards as desired by the industries. The IITs' pattern is followed in teaching. Since examinations and evaluation pattern is entirely internal throughout the year, the burden over students is reduced a little bit and therefore students can give quality time to extra-curriculars also.

There is a statutory 30 % reservations for girls in admissions. This way boys to girls ratio becomes 3:1.Various cultural societies are run by students themselves. First year students are admitted into these societies through interviews conducted by seniors.Besides, there are branch chapters associated with each branch.

The grandest of all fests was the CMS festival where I was a part of the team which conducted the annual media fest called Melange. Apart from that, many intra department fests were organized by the event organizing specialization students and we had film festivals and seminars.

I had studied at the old campus, which was cramped but the new campus that has been constructed is very good. There used to be some or the other activities every month which kept us engaged throughout the three years.

Alumini meet also organise every year by our seniorsin different different placesso that everyone can attend this or its accessible to everyone. In which all members from our college they also delivered their opnion. Good thing is that its actually very effective because its helpful for those who dont having any job.

My branch was Instrumentation. So, most of the faculity was from NIIT and also IIT. So, it was easier to understand the subject. Also they suggest the future in psu's.how we look forward by pursuing this only. In every semester we had written papers along with minimum two practicles.

Placement is not 100% for M.tech over there. But mostly student are placed for in campus aur out of campus. I was not placed in campus as i have a 2nd division in 10th standard. But from out side campus i got job.

Freshers party is around 3 month after session started. In this mostly are cultural program is there like dance, singing, skits and all that.ARHANYA technical fest is good. Many good college participate in thst.

Campas life is a best life for student life because college are provided for any activities. Like chess compition ,cricket ,table tennis,bed menton and other sports and labs are provided are any research problem are solved with the help of lab assistant.

My college placements and job oppurtunities are better companies are come in the college and minimum packages provided but highly packages not provided . Because companies are top colleges students are selected .
