I took admission through PGET exam where my rank was 5081. Though I prepared well for GATE in 2011 I couldn't qualify for just 1 no. My score was 30.5 where cutoff was 31.5. I decided to appear for PGET as I thought I already dropped a year after passing out B.Tech from B.C.Roy Engg College Durgapur, I shouldn't wait for another year which will make me more ineligible for any job opening.Now chosing this college is because of 2 reason.1st it was nearest form my Home compared to any other Engineering college. I live in Naihati, Kalyani is around 20km. 2nd reason is I heard that this college is sponsored by World Bank a huge amount of money called 'TEQIP Phase 1'.--that stands for Technical Education Quality Improvement Program which offers better infrastructure in every department, training & project works meets International trending technology, More experienced faculty recruitment & finally to give a monthly scholarship to selected Post Graduate students who have to work there as Technical Assistant with main faculty in Labs or giving guard in exams or sometimes to even teach if main faculty is not there.If I get selected I would get that money which will cover total fees of M.tech & I would also get 2yrs of Teaching Experience Certificate as well.As I have to go there for my own study everyday it is not at all a burden.rather we have any off period we won't be bored to just sit & wait.We can sit there in Teacher's Room also.We can use any computer at any lab wherever we want.Sitting with experienced teacher would help me to overcome any difficulty that I may face in future if I get selected in any college as full time Asst. Professor. Lastly 1 of my school friend who was our topper as well did M.tech there who said the faculties are quite helpful & knowledgeable.So, I chose it.

The thing is M.tech students doesn't get that much of opportunities in any IT companies over B.techs, Cause in company's perspective the training that is required to know everything about the company, without it B.Tech & M.tech(fresher) are almost equal, cause traditional knowledge that a student get in college life may be of no use for that company.They have to learn everything at the training, So why should a company recruit a M.Tech fresher & give them more salary than B.techs as they have this masters degree.and another thing is After M.tech there are lot more dimensions are opened like teching profession or applying for PHD etc.I cant say how much B.techs are offered.How far I heard from some of my students they said its not that good now.Very few companies are coming.Opportunity is very less.1day I saw there is Strike going on for campussing issues.So.its complicated.

Feasible fee structure total 4 lacs for 4 years and there was scholarships for excellent students and it was a tulu minority institutes so all tulu speaking colleges had scholarships.

Share in detail the faculty and standards. All faculty were good. We had more 50% of Faculties who had a PhD in their respective field. Faculties were well informed and supportive.

College life is the best part in life of a person and campus life in Global Institute of Technology is too good. The gender ratio in about 60 boys : 40 girls. In this campus there are lots of fun as well as study. Many events are held in campus as considered above and also many seminars, workshops, conferences and debates.There is no diversity and tolerance with regards to gender, ethnicity,religion, sexual orientation, politics and economic status.

The placements and job opportunities in campus is very well as there are many companies which are connected to the college for placement. Name of the some companies which are connected with campus are : Tech Mahindra, Genpact, Persistant, iGATE, NEC Technologies, Daffodil software, L&T Infotech, App Perfect, Metacube Software etc.Packages of these companies are based on there selection of student.

As per its coatation beyound teaching, silicon always relies on teaching and research all the faculty are highly qualified above M.Tech level.

I have got the admmishion through OJEE and the educational quality made to chose this college after the govt college option.

All faculties were good knowledgeable. Help student to understand the technical concepts rather than theoretical. They will make sure about presentation skills, team role and other skills improvement.Provided choice to proved faculty feedback which help us to select proper faculty for subject. We had an option to select faculty for the subject.

Course curriculum is best on industry requirement. As per current new all syllabus is re structured. Also from last year GIT is now autonomous. Major subject which is required for MCA course or computer developer is cover as expected by out side wold. This help me to keep strong hold over my first job as fresher.

The alumni and the senior students are par excellence currently interacting with them once in a year feels good and motivational on all aspects there are usually lectures conducted with them

Placement opportunities was too good additional committeee was made for placement called as placement cell. Companies such as Wipro, hdfc, frr forex came to college for placement activities

There was a system called project work to which we were asked to perform a research under a paper called Research methodology. No need to go to a company, can be able to do with somw employees of the company was enough.

Courses were great. i.e., Management concepts, financial management, human resource accounting, strategic management. Business environment and law. Management accounting etc.,

I took Amity University entrance test, its an internal mode of admission they follow, I scored 6.9 in my CGPA. I always thought being in media will let my creativity come out and keep me on my toes with all entertainment and glamour world.

Hectic, time consuming, but fun in the end. Lot of practical things to do if you get time out of it, you can also hop on to lot of extra curricular activities too. Even after practical hands on to equipments, theory classes are also there

Campus is a sprawling one with marvelous seniors who are wiliing to help their juniors anytime. Gender ratio is however poor 1:8, girls: boys ratio but still believe me its better than other IITs. Very diverse culture, people ranging from very different backgrounds come over here. People in addition to academics, also indulge in trekking and camping as roorkee, lying at the foot of the mountains, people go on bike trips to snowy areas. Having a very diverse culture people from various ethnic backgrounds are respected here. Inter IIT competitions are also a norm here like sports meet which is held annually, each time in a different IIT.

IIT has a subsidized fee structure around 60 thousand a semester for general category and half of it for SC/ST category. Its the least expensive in comparison to other engineering colleges across India. Although news around is that the fee will rise substantially by the next term but even then, IIT offers MCM or means cum merit scholarships for the needy ones where around 90% of the fee is waived off with the intention that money should never ever stop a deserving candidate from reaching where he/she rightfully belongs.

We celebrated one week different day celebration like rose day, faishon shoe, Skit play etc. I have not participated but i enjoyed lot. Further NSS activities also organised by our college. Othr competition like dance, writing held in our collehe.

Overall experienced was very good and there were no tolerance by previous studant.gender ratio might be 35:65 but it was not fixed.people comes from middle and higher middlr cladd.they support us in study as well as in sport.

College follows trimester system along with CGPA system for marking.Each trimester has 8 to 9 subjects that cover all aspects of management such as finance, marketing, human resource, operations, business design and IT. Specializations in finance, marketing, human resource, operations are offered in second year based on assessment test. E business program is very well designed and has included subjects related to IT.

The internship was offered through campus interview. The experience about internship was very good. Most of the students get internships through college. College has a very good relations the industries and students are regularly monitored throughout the internship. We had to submit the internship report and present the work in front of faculty.

Generally every one gets placed trough college for summer internship. Avg package offered here is 20-25k for summers .IT firms, Manufacturing firms, retail firms and some Banks visited the campus for Summers. Also few start ups and market research firms visited the firm.

We have 3 courses offered in WeSchool- PGDM, PGDM EBIZ and PGDM Business Design.Also we have 4 specializations offered - Operations, Marketing, Finance and HR.No specialization for Business Design students.

Faculties are such a awesome best and qualified and they explain the concept clearly and the way they teach is such a wonder we feel to attract towards their concepts and for the cse branch the concept should be more clear with proper logoc.

The course is awesome and i am taking more instrust in that cse branch and i like programming and i want to impromise my programming skills. And be good at coding so that i can achieve my target in programming.

Campus life was full of enjoy, as we were also enjoyed writing out journals of the subjects, Lab experiments etc. We were having good gym facility too where we used to play table tennis, carom, chess & all. there were badminton court, loan tennis court, basket ball & volley ball court too. We were also having a huge cricket ground also near hostel. Gender ratio was about 30/70 Girls/Boys

College had no bad remarks as per me. only good remarks like campus, faculty, course curriculum, seniors, our friends & classmates many more. we thoroughly enjoyed our college life. there were no ragging on the first day, all disciplined environment & good knowledge was given to us for making our future successful & fruitful to us as well as for society.

I think the college is really good for studies. its one of the oldest ones in gujarat. Apart from that the activities are very limited and campus interviews and placement is an issue. The semister system and the result system is one of the best i feel in india.

Fees were bare minimum. I dont remember the exact details but being a govt. College the fees were somewhere between 2500 to 3000 per semister and hence very affordable, Girls would get some part of it as refund after completing engineering.

All alumni are doing well few of them have started their startups and are well connected with the college. Alumni few times come to the college and provide the students with the update from their industry and also have a say in modifying the course according to the industrial need.

There were lot of startups which offered internship along with established consultancy firms and it firms and a few manufacturing and retail firms and few banks also .Avg stipend is about 25K but who care about the stipend I had a very good experience and learning opportunity .

During my course, i had learnt a lot from the teachers, students, examination syllabus and etc. After completion of this course many big organisation come up for new recruitment of candidate and they select on the basis of the college impression and individual performance at the time of the interview.

After completion of this course we can get job or work opportunities in big or small organisation on the basis of the university name or impression.many of the students got selected at campus interview as trainee and had received the stipend 10, 000 to 12000 monthly basis.

The main reason for me opting for Jims was the alumni reviews about the caring and supporting faculty. Along with the exposure that the college provided to the alumni students proved to be beneficial for them. Thus, I thought the college provides good opportunities to its students. And college being near to my place was an added advantage.

The campus life was very much exhillarating and appealing. Equal ratio of boys and girls in the college.A nice clean and healthy relationship is maintained with a bit of strictness by the teachers of the college.A two day intresting sports day with all the sport activities is held in which winners get certificates and trophies.

Our college every year celebrates our alumni meet. Where so many bureaucrats ,actors and politicians take part. Our college gave so many filam directors like vishal bhardwaj and others.

In first year fee was 4300 rupees and 750 rupees examination fee. Second year fee was 2300 examination fee was the same. And in last year it was 7000 rupees and 750 for examination.
