We had to search internship for our self. I did my internship in BSNL and they didn't offer any money to me. Often people did internship just to have internship degree. There was not much support from college side to provide student some monetary inetrnship.

Scintilla- annual event. All pooja like vishvakarma pooja, navaratri. One tech fest- technical event. Yes they are big whole college participate in these programs and all are free of cost, all funded by college.

Being a university,festivals are very huge and you can find famous singers in festivals for live concerts.

Good placement. 80% were placed.IBM,ST Microelectronics,cadence and many company came for placement.

I'm very sad to say this but the Placement is pretty average in our college. Companies like TCS,TECH MAHINDRA,SONY,SHNIEDER ELECTRIC,ACCENTURE,DELL,TOYOTA KIRLOSKAR etc came but they took only few students as compared to other colleges. Salary package ranged from 2.5 to 6 lakh per annum. I was able to crack the aptitude & gd very easily but used to fail in technical round. But i got job in off campus.

There were usual events like ethnic day college festival once in year,Alumni meet,Graduation day etc. In all those events college fest is the highlight. We call the fest as SAMBHRAMA which means celebration. We have so many events in sambhrama like mad ads,dance,singing competition etc. It'll be so much fun.

Navratri festival is 9 days dandiya and garba goes on in the grounds of somaiya. Falguni pathak and many celebrities join the festival with enthusiasm. Renaissance is a talent hub to showcase the technical skills,robotics and many technical games that test your mind. Food festival competition also was a major event where participants are served with foods and they are given a time limit where they have to finish it in time and also there are events like mehendi and rangoli competition for girls.

When it comes to college one can only think of is friends campus and canteen apart from lectures,gymkhana and all. Well there are many colleges under Mumbai University but when I got admission in Somaiya I was having goosebumps as I was so excited to be a part of this institute. The last year brings a lot of responsibilities such as there are many events including swach bharat abhiyan drive where students be responsible for the cleaning drive to keep their vicinity clean.

In our college there is UMS (University Management System ) each student of our college has a unique id and he can set password of his own all the syllabus and course is uploaded in that portal student can download the course and reading material from there anytime as the teacher always upload reading material in that portal then i used to make plan for my academics i used to make my timetable according to the subject attention needed and one thing i used to do i used to read daily whatever is study in the class and there are practical lab too in our college student came to know about more practical knowledge as compare to theoretical knowledge.

I took the admission in my college through AIEEE i got 80869 rank in aieee i have done good preparation for this exam but i didn't get good rank in AIEEE exam that make me feel sad, but when i took admission in Lovely Professional University this is one the the best university in terms of education. I realize that everything which is done for purpose then i took admission in B.tech course in ECE as i have more interest in robotics and telecommunication i don't know how these four year of my college life has passed i enjoy a lot in my college life and study hard to achieve my dream and got placement from their in a reputed MNC.

Teacher is very co operative and friendly management was also co opertaive as when ever we want to go outstation we used to get railway concession form & get subsidised ticket even in case of complain redressal was quick and they response quickly .

Extremely good In case of extracurricullar there was a lots of opportunity in drama cricket comppt but i never participated os i dont have much experince but my friend who participated they get oppurtinity .

Campus life was good. In my batch there was no female, as girls hostel was not ready, started after a batch. Overall still a very less percentage. Sports tournaments, cultural activities were frequently organized.

We had mainly 2 annual events. One was Technical festival and other cultural festival. There was some participation from external colleges also, but our team used to go to other colleges and participate.

They were very cooperative. Answers all the questions and very friendly. All the faculties were having good knowledge and they were encouraging student to do innovations. They even conduct parent teacher meetings .

Course was gud . course followed JNTU-HYD university curriculum like embedded system, linux, Web technologies, principles of programming language, unified model language, c-language, semantic web, EDC.

There are 6 subjects in First 2 years i.e FYBA & SYBA in our college. And in TYBA we have to select any 1 of our favorite subject. And that subject will have 6 papers. We have to clear all 6 papers to pass that semester. There are 6 semester in full 3 years.

Campus is not only good It is the best. In the year 2013, our college won the best Interior award in mumbai colleges. All students from slother different college come to our college's canteen only to spend the time only with their friends. Best of The Best.

There are five subjects and four labs. Subjects are physics maths chem, pc and labs are followed by physics, elsc, e-graph, BMS. There is half day twice a week and sunday is universal holiday. Its easy to handle if you study twice a hour per day.

Placement and job opportunites are excellent in this collage. There are lots of multinational companies comes in kiit, to give you job opportunities. Its really good here to get placed.

There is good labs with efficiently working equipment and computer lab is also good library (150000 approx.) books available , youth festivals means sports week organized every year at college level.

The faculty was very kind good and also knowledged to complete the anna university syllabus thereby solving all queries with students the faculty have completed the curriculum on time.

The college facilitate department symposium in a semester with participation of all the students annual day is celebrated in every even semester other college participated in events.

Well arranged curriculum. We need not go any where to get etc. study materials. Because the in build study materials itself will more then enough to face the final examination. Well experienced faculties are available to guide us in right path.

Being a government oriented college they will not arrange job opportunities. But according to the course we selected there is still high job opportunities. Minimum of 6000 to 8000 rupees we can expect.

Placements are good. It's almost 100%. Companies like P&G, HUL, ITC, Arvind Mills, JPMC, BCG, Whirlpool, Samsung, J&J, TCS, HCL etc visit the campus. Packages vary between 9 lacs to 26 lacs per annum. But 80% of the company offer 12-14 lacs. Only 4 to 5 students get around 26 lacs per annum. Mostly these are finance companies and they mostly pick-up CAs.

4 semester- per semesterter, you have one exam. In addition to this, you have internal marks for class tests, attendance, projects etc. 80% is for you main exam and 20% for internals. But you need to pass in internal in order to be clear in that particula

AIEEE and SEEE I get 20 + in AIEEE and in SEEE. I get 60+ I want mechanical branch the college is offer me so I get this just submit some original document and some Xerox.

They organized big event in month of December in which sports, technical , robotic war, cricket and to many games are organized any one can participate in all event .

The gender ratios in our college was like 65% Males & 35% Females,Our College was new so it took some time to our college to arrange big cultural events, however the regular events were quite good. We had one of the very best Bhangra dance team of our college.

The days of the college were quite mixed ones. The teachers were good but the placements were very less. the management was under development at that stage but now whenever I go to college. It seems they have built a very good reputation of themselves in

I have been to Siddartha institute of science and technology and it was a terrible experience. Infrastructure is very poor and you at time feel like the ceiling will fall on your head. The faculty ooh dear they can't even speak English. At even master level some senior students are teaching there. You do have good teachers but they are busy in meeting and etc. They might complete only 20% of the syllabus. If JNTU is good it is all thanks to the hardworking students. Teachers many time misguide you and the unexperienced teachers does not even the know the subject.

No internship in my college. There are various stages to "getting" an internship such as applying, clearing the interviews and finally negotiating the best offer in terms of team, location, pay,etc. I'll answer your question mainly with respect to the first stage applying, since I feel that is what you are most interested in.

Majority all hotel chains of India came for the internships. Like taj, oberoi , itc, intercontinental, Accor, marriott, old world hospitality etc. Stipend given for internship in hotels ranges from 500 to 2500 per month. In our college we had 2 training. 1st one after 1st yr of 2nd half months. And industrial training of 6 months in 6th semester.

Around 85% are boys in college. There is also not as such cultural societies or any other society in collage. Majority of students come from middle class or higher middle class families. There is also no kind of ragging in collage or in campus premises. Campus life is very fun loving and enjoyable.

All the events are celebrated very well. To Note All the Zonal level Fests of university were hosted by our college started from year one of college.Till now no other institution are allowed to host except our college.

Yes many types ofloans are there based on the economic condition, grades and i have seen some of them study for free as directors are too generous for some only.

My qualifications are I cleared GATE (RANK 47), CSIR NET(RANK 12). IISC is the best research institute in India for doing Ph.D. You have to clear NET to be eligible. But you can fill up form for the admission process before the NET results are out. There is IISC entrance also. Then there are at least two rounds of rigours interview. Only then you are given opportunity to join Iisc.

There are two options for a student after finishing the course: join a company or go for postdoctoral research. The placement opportunities are best in India. If you have a degree from IISC, you are often the first choice of the companies for a position. The postdoctoral research is also highly lucrative where you can apply in different countries in the best labs.
