Government college of engineering,aurangabad.About the college,government college of engineering, aurangabad is one of the best engineering colleges in india which was established in the year 1960. The college is affiliated to dr. babasaheb ambedkar marathwada university, aurangabad and approved by aicte. The college offers engineering programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level.The admissions to the college are governed by the dtethe college has also got the teqip (technical education quality improvement programme) grantmy college has signed a mou with tata consultancy services which involves running training programs and co-operation between company and collegestudents have been encouraged to send the technical papers to the student conferences / competitions and the department faculty has been providing necessary guidance.also visits for students to various construction and project sites as well as research laboratories / organizations are arranged so as to give them exposure to the site-operations and research projects.

My college has been ranked no. 1 all over india in the teqip survey for academics in engineering colleges in 2009-10 also has been ranked no 1 college for cse in year 2013.Teachers day, seminar on womens health, workshop on self defence industrial motivational campaign are organized by electrical engineering departmentstudents have been encouraged to send the technical papers to the student conferences / competitions and the department faculty has been providing necessary guidance.Various construction sites and research organizations are visited we enjoy it most.

We do have different projects running for M-TECH students. We also gets the opportunity to work and learn from them. TCS and INFOSIS provides us the better environment for training. BHEL also provides us internship. Generally its of 4 months. we get around 10000 pm.

I gave MPPET in 2013. I sat in the exam and got 103. It was not a good total for good branch in good Eng college. So i attempted different levels of counselling but i was unable to get govt college.

GUJ CET examination of current year is first requirement. And minimum eligible score is 50% required .CBSE & GHSEB pass out student with highest merit students got admission here. My collage is 1st choice for all students of gujrat.

As government collage fees for per annum is Rs.6000. Other private medical collage has minimum Rs.3,00,000 per year. So compare to them it's not expensive.Other than collage tution fees we have to paid hostel fees Rs1200 per month.

I have passed GUJCET and hsc science stream exam with aggregate 60% I have many option to choose but I like the computer software field most so that I had choose to go with this stream i like to admit in this college because it is in my native place.

The examstructure is very good at all per the related gtu norms the environment around the college is very peacefull so that it is good to seat in exam hall. As well as the labs are all equiveped with the instruments which are needed in practicals.

My opinion on campus life is awesome, fabulous and mind blowing because there 4 years is best years and moments of my life. I lived the whole 4 years like I am not far away from my home and from my parents. In college there are lot of extracellular activities held in every months or even two or three times in a months, so we can learn more things this is good strategy by college. Labs is so good, in labs there are a lot of instruments for practical purposes and for learning. Yes in my college time robotics workshops also held by Robosapins and few other institutions. They all were are good and fantastic, I learnt many things about robotics. Gender Ration is 1:1 because our college rule is simple everyone is equal to us.

Placement is good but not so good because many companies came for IT and CSE because in this branch the students have good marks and few compartment students. So many companies need a good marks with good mind. But for mechanical this is not happening. Companies like Infosys, IDMB, ICICI, MARUTI, WIPRO came during placement students and one of IT student got Rs 8lakh package this is the highest package in our college offered by Infosys. This is history for this college. Infosys gave ur 3to 5lakh per annum it's average for all students. Maruti gave 2 to 3 lakh. And other game 2.5 to 3.5 lakhs per annum.

I took JEE and AIEEE exams i didn't qualify JEE but I qualified AIEEE exam i could've taken B.Tech course at nit hamirpur ,but I chose uiit over nit this is because the faculty alongwith the environment was perfect in uiit the exposure is perfect for IT study at uiit this is because uiit is branch of Himachal Pradesh University which is an well established university in India. Extra curricular activities here at HPU add features to one's personalty and face reality of world so overall it's a great educational purposes environment.

Gender ratio is poor at uiit this because there is very less girls that gets permission from there parents for perusing B.Tech apart from gender ratio, the workshops, college festivals and cultural events are really fun it feals great to be part of such kind of events political life is main part of HPU campus and uiit is primary focus of political leaders of HPU it teaches us good values and tolerance which is very beneficial in real life.

There is no gender variations in my college but has some strict rules and regulations for dressing of boys and girls. We have Anti ragging squads and also technical and Communication development departments like ISTE, IEEE, we conduct debuts regarding politics and economical status and give suggestions and do some cultural activities.

My college annual fee is 63,400/- which is little expensive but it is OK considering my college facilities and library and net facilities. We have to pay the fee on the starting of the year in month of July. And we also have to pay some additional fee for lab facilities and examination fees.

Lot of chemical seminars / symposium were conducted during that time. At the year end there would be big cultural events . Apart from that student celebrate all the festivals like diwali, onam, christmas etc.

The Course was very nice, helped students to clear CSIR and GATE exams. All the faculty are Doctorate and having almost 20 years experience. Lab was world class, having all the sophisticated instruments.

Many events are celebrate in my college like as Cricket tournament, football tournament, chess tournament, bollyball tournament etc. in sports. Also, robotics, technical, annual function and freshar party etc. celebrated in my college.

My fee structure is mantioned below-Per sem. - Rs. 31500, Per year- Rs. 60000. Many fee are included below like as Technical lec- Rs. 3000rs and Festival fee- Rs. 500-1000 etc.

So many events are being conducyed by our college like mahotsav fest as one f d biggest fest we celebrate in our college. And many more science exhinition etc will be conducted. As it is a deemed university u can easily get seat in it.

No stipend u will see in dis college as its a btech college u CME here to learn knwledge. So der is no hope to get stipend here. Our college is not giving any stipend at present. So come here to learn knowledge and be a student.

We have a 80-20 pattern for examination. Internal mark contain 20 marks 2 class test. They consider the average of that two exams. 80 marks exam is important exam. We have to score 28/80 marks. So we have passing of 40/100 marks.

Near our college we have a state bank of india bank. MIT branch bank. That will help us for taking loan from that branch. Most of student having student congestion/ scholarship . So they can pay their money easily.

Fee structure is as per the rules and regulations of University and kerala government, its about 36000 per year for government seats and 60000+ for management seats. There are reservation seats available for students who comes under these as well

For our course, internship is not needed, so I'm guessing this question is not to be answered but students have the option to do their main/mini projects in any of the companies they prefer, or else they could do it in college itslef.

Being a government College I from my side think that fee structure is quiet high I.e Rs. 7700 per semesterIt should be somewhat like 4000-5000 only. Because only government colleges are a shara to the poor people and they cannot afford this much fees.

Actually no exam was taken,my admission was based on counselling and reason to choose this college is that it is in a beautiful city i.e Chandigarh and affiliated with the topmost university i.e Punjab University.

Campus life is always good if you have good guys there.About Ratio it was 3:10 (F:M) Extra curricular activity was not very much, lab is good, they have few students which like to participate into robotics and debates,but college never insist to do that. It's totally depends on student wish.

It is more of management college not a student college. Management never listen the student and they didn't follow even.Every one have there own statement ready for any student problem. No good facility provided by college.

Fees is negligible in the college as the college is government college their is negligible fess of rupees 2600 every year and also everything under college campus is very low cost so there is much less expense in college campus.

L.d college of engineering is providing and excellent opportunity for students of backward classes as well as economically backward class also college has good hostel and mess facility and teachers are good on teaching base.

The college provides internship for all students in 4th year, they provide internship to the local architects office or even you can do intership by your own, in 5 th year there are no academic classes and 5th year is only for training period.

The college alumni is very cooperative, but there is little bit of ragging in the first year but after the ragging the seniors are also very cooperative. And the ragging is not at all physical it is just for formality.

It has best infrastructure with modern equipped classes, cafeterias, central library, Giani's mac lab, etc. Many movie stars come here to promote their movies. Mac lab is one of the best place for students in robotics competion occur in dtu and nsit our college get 2 position in 2013 and 3 position in 2014 respt.

Faculty of the college are great director of pdm college are one of the best director many task are perform in college to increase the knowledge of students faculty play a very important role in the college the teacher are alumini of best colleges such as jamia millia aslamia, dtu, ip.

I scored 195.3/200 cut off in my public examination and interested in studying mechanical engineering. I heared about rajalakshmi engineering college teaching methodology, placement record and other extra curricular activities. So I joined in this college.

Exam are conducted to gain knowledge and best part in the college is practical classes. They work extraordinary in practical session. Gaining knowledge from practical classes is more. More than 90 percent were practical classes.

No placement guarantee ,and almost nil campas selection. As training and placement department is really slow and inactive here. Though through resume job seeking ,this college has a diff. Spot over other colleges .

Events celebrated are annual day ,annual sports ,and many tech. Fests and diff. Fest's based on diff. Fields. All the events are good and worth taking part ,though there are many events ,still not sufficient.
